That Paris Saint Germain lost against Monaco last night didn't come as a surprise to me because i had already known that the match would end in either win or draw in favor of Monaco, because i think their mind will be more focused on their game against Chelsea in the UEFA champions league that is coming up in no time soon so they wont be at their best in that game and i'm very much sure they are winning Chelsea in that game, and again despite their lost in the league i still think at the end of the season they will emerge the champion of ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain performance is fluctuating a lot from a match to another, same thing goes with Chelsea. Since both aren't that good lately and the game taking place in Parc des Princes then I doubt PSG will let this opportunity passes. There is 2 legs in this level so PSG should score as much as they can to avoid embarrassment in England when they will face Chelsea in the second leg.
In French Ligue 1, the only thing that matters after PSG games are Lens ones because one of these two teams will lift the title by the end of the season.

I did spike about  this earlier  that after I saw PSG suffer that defeat, I wondered if they will be able to really face Chelsea. In the champions league, because it is completely a different case altogether, the champions league is even more intense then this, with more pressure, so I just wish them the best of luck, except they improve.

One thing about football is that it can always surprise us, and this is one of those moments. Evidently on paper PSG surely look stronger and expected to win, but matches don’t always follow predictions. even big teams can drop points when you least expect it. That’s one of the reasons football is so interesting to watch. sometimes the team that look less motivated or under pressure ends up losing, while the opponent capitalize on the opportunity.

When I look at the Ligue 1 table after PSG lost to Monaco it shows that PSG really knows what they are doing, they needed their energy to be at a higher pace to play their champions league game against the Club World Cup Champions on Wednesday, it has to be that they play less because they saw the champions league as a 2 leg opportunity and if they lose that would be the end while in the Ligue 1, they still have more than five games to play so why not lose this game against Monaco and get fully prepared for Chelsea? If Lens had kept the point gap very close this opportunity would have been a better one for them, there's still time to catch up, just one lost game and a win for Lens after today's game it will be them at the top. Lens need to comfortably win Metz to close the gap and I predict 4-1 in favor of Lens.

Monaco actually put up a very good fight against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League qualifiers. However, things improved even more in the league, and they managed to beat Paris Saint-Germain away from home by scoring three goals. This is not something every team in France can achieve. An opportunity has arisen for Lens, and they have the chance to reduce the point difference between themselves and Paris Saint-Germain to one point by winning their match. Hopefully, they will make good use of this opportunity. They have a match against Metz today.

Monaco secured a decisive and impressive victory, I think they deserve congratulations. Paris Saint-Germain, on the other hand, played much worse than expected and had to accept defeat at home. It was a bad ending for Paris Saint-Germain, but a great opportunity for Lens, who are trailing behind them.

The PSG downhill is real. PSG is finally recording 4 losses, which is the same amount of their losses from two last seasons combined. So it means they're in the downtrend. they're getting even harder in beating their opponent at league one. So it raises me question whether they can beat Chelsea in UCL.
They already requested to change their schedule against Nantes. They also reschedule their game against Monaco, but still lost.

I can only guess the lack of the greediness to win the trophy after they won everything last season is the reason. If they perform like this in UCL, Chelsea can beat them with huge scores even in their home. 

PSG has downtrend performance exactly for this season after losing 4 of 25 games played and last match beating by Monaco as revenge match after eliminating at Champion League playoff round match. Inconsistent performance from PSG in domestic league could not be utilized well by the rival team Lens always loss three points when facing the top and experienced Ligue 1 teams. PSG on bad position after losing from Monaco and next match must focus for Champion League against Chelsea for the first leg match.

Its great chance for Lens to reduce four points left awhile and become one point if can beat Metz, if consistent get three points has chance for Lens back to top place if beat PSG at matchday 29 both team face each other and fighting for the Ligue tittle.

Honestly, PSG's position is still remain safe even if they lose the game to the Lens. However, that bad record obviously worrying us about their performance against Chelsea. They did anything possible like reschedule the game, and everything for the preparation against Chelsea.
Yet, they will be bantered by Chelsea if they played like that. It seems to me they're a totally different team compared to the last season.
