Monaco may not be the best team but right now they have what it takes to defeat PSG if they should repeat the match again.

As defending champions of the UCL and the ligue1 which they have dominated for a very long time, it's only fair that the fans demand much from them, its not out of place for the fans to feel sad when they lose. If something is wrong within the team then it is the job of the coach to fix it immediately and not give flimsy excuses regarding why their performances ain't as good as it ought to be, am not really surprised because this was how bad they were last season yet they went on to win the UCL and the domestic league.

But it seems that will be difficult and PSG themselves must be starting to realize their chances in the Champions League will be a little more difficult, so they will certainly focus on the remaining matches in Ligue 1 to achieve full wins which will greatly increase their chances of winning the championship. Lens really finished off Metz very easily by a dominant game just as I expected. 3 goals in 9 minutes were impressive! Sometimes they really play like they have changed roles with PSG. 

Anyways now the gap with PSG is 1 point while there are only 9 weeks left for the end of the season. I don't know how it will end but I just hope Lens manage to stay in it until the final week to let us have an exciting ending to the season...

Lens completely dominated their home match and won. They were aggressive from the start of the match. They managed a total of 23 shots, 7 of which were on target. Lens is still in the running for the title. They are not  disappointed yet. This fight will probably continue till the end of the season. Lens  has only 1 point difference with PSG. It's not about Lens getting back to the top of the table, can they remain at the top? we have seen them top the table about a couple of time but still lose it out to PSG. I have long lost confidence in Lens winning the the title, even if they top the table again. The only thing that can make them to have edge over PSG is if Chelsea do not send PSG out of the Champions League which means that PSG will be occupied with many matches which can cause some of their big players to fall into injury. If their big players begins to get injured, it will affect their performance and they even start losing matches.

This is the type of competitions that I wants to see each season in the ligue 1.  teams in the ligue 1 has been sleeping for a long time, as they had allowed PSG to hold them ransom.Lens should continue in this part, because I know that for a team like Lens pursuing PSG there will be player in PSG setup that may be afraid of this Lens side. Because no team has not given PSG headaches in recent matches when it comes to the ligue 1.
