I feel so sorry for Edie Howe who has been facing difficulties with his squad. This result has clearly shown that they have to act very fast once the transfer window opens by January. I have no doubt in the ability of the manager to turn things around but they have to do something before it's too late.

Newcastle actually started the season in a formidable form that saw them sitting in the top four of the EPL table but it's quite unfortunate to see that their form couldn't stand the test of time as they have been dropping form recently with each game played. It could be as a result of the injuries some of their key players are battling with and we hope they recover soon and get back to form with the team.

Another thing apart from a needed signing in bolstering the team's performance next year is that the Newcastle coach has to also go back to the drawing board and redraft his tactics as it is no more working for the team anymore maybe because other clubs has discovered its weakness. Newcastle really needs new players on the front line who can ensure their attacks don't always end in vain. 8 Newcastle players are still injured and there is no confirmation when they will completely recover and return to playing.
