Arsenal defeat against West Ham did not put Arsenal out of the title race this season, I am sure Arteta has learned from last season's failure. Arsenal is only two points behind Liverpool, there is still a big possibility for Arsenal to return to the top of the standings because there are still so many matches that have not been completed. A defeat like this is very normal and can happen to any team, it is very difficult to finish the entire match without losing, sometimes results like this are needed so that the coach can continue to learn from the defeats his team experiences.

If measured in terms of points scored, Arsenal's performance is better than Manchester City. The defeat against West Ham was very painful for Arsenal because they failed to return to the top of the standings, but this defeat was not the end for Arsenal because they could make up for their mistake by winning in the next match.

Arsenal’s defeat didn’t put them off the title race rather opened up the race for the likes of City and the top 4 slot for Spurs and Man United to get in the race. Yes the defeat was needed and I think it came in at the best time, so that the coach can see his flaws and know how to tract the best out of this team, and I hope he discovers that quickly so as to avoid more losses that would make them drop down the table.

 This is key especially as opposition teams will be getting most of their injured players back from injury. This will make the chase for the title open and interesting. Bringing more views for the fans, clubs and the league as a whole.There’s sure a huge time to make up for the defeat but while on the bid to makeup, they would have to try to avoid a repetition of this defeat else it’ll spell doom for their title chase this season.

Arsenal defeat yesterday was quite shocking to say the least, I never expected or saw that coming, I wasn't at home when the match was being played, but when I got back and discussing with a fiend of mine on the phone, he told me that westham unite defeated Arsenal by two goals to nothing, I thought he was joking and just laughed it off, but he repeated that again, and I had to ask him if he was serious, he Said yes, but I still couldn't believe it', so I hung the call up and entered the internet to check, and low and behold, it was true, and again, my and my friend lost our bets.

Very pathetic outcome, and I quite agree with all that you said, and like someone else did mention here previously, Arsenal need to be careful and conscious to make sure they do not end with that same mistake they made Last season which cost them the title, losing more games from here might be too risky for them, this is why I agree with you, they will need to sit up and make sure they every game going forward from now on.

Although, I will admit that I was not feeling the vibe of Arsenal yesterday, they didn't played to their full potential but I know they will so better by next half of the season because do the maths. They have played 19th matches for 19 weeks and only lose 2 and draw 1 match, you think that's a fallacy? They might not be the best yet but this Arsenal of today is 30 times better than the Arsenal of last 10 years and the fact that Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea are falling out every time on the table shows that Arsenal is the new peaky blinders in town.

Changes in strategy and having aggressive approach bring Liverpool to this level, and they have good chance for the win with still it's very long way to go because we have good improvement in few other teams which can steal the show near the end of this season as we have history in Premier League nothing is sure until last match played Arsenal is also improved from their last year's performance, and they can also jump again after having few bad weeks with Manchester City is also at their best and back in business which is giving them still one of the hot favourite tag.

Aston Villa and Tottenham are also fairly in as they are giving good performance even they are having not enough quality like top three but Liverpool and Manchester City could be at the another level, and we can't give any better prediction about winner with still we have 20 rounds to go which is really enough time for having too many changes.

Competition in the Premier League is so tight that any team can be beaten but this time it looked strange because Arsenal as one of the strongest teams was defeated at home even though previously we knew that Arsenal were very difficult to beat when playing at home. This defeat certainly concerns us all because we don't want Liverpool to be without competitors we want to see competition like last season every club struggled until the last season. If Arsenal have been beaten this week then let's wait to see if Liverpool also get a defeat in the next match, usually both teams do the same pattern we don't know if it's a coincidence. Now Liverpool is quite safe with a difference of 2 points.

Regardless of the recent dominance of Manchester City in the English Premier League, the competition has always been like this that's why most people see the Epl as one of the most difficult and unpredictable league because the team you least expected to win a match can rise of to beat teams that are on top of the league thst has been seen several times. The defeat of Arsenal should not be over emphasize because they aren't new to the league and they know too well that they are to expect any thing from any team and they shouldn't underestimate the performance of any team regardless of the past performance of the team. West Ham did better yesterday than Arsenal. Even though Arsenal played at home, they failed to win West Ham. However, I think Liverpool will continue to top the standings because their performances seem to be great for me. However, a team like West Ham doesn’t support winning Arsenal because Arsenal is a very good team. We are going to watch another game week right away but technically we have left the first half of the season behind officially. After 19 games played Liverpool are the leader and Arsenal follow them by 2 points behind. If Arsenal didn't mess up against West Ham home it could have been the other way around in the standings now.

Manchester City were also one of the most profitable teams on that week. They might not be this lucky again this week in my opinion. Because I don't think Arsenal and Aston Villa would lose again. Liverpool have a tougher game against Newcastle at Anfield maybe but I expect them to win too.

( my reasons could be biased though ) I don't want Pep Guardiola winning because he's been bragging enough recently and he has been talking like Jose Mourinho does to other coaches. I hope they  win the Premier League because if he don't, it'll be another twenty years until they finally win the Premier League, it'll be difficult for them to win.

I really think that Arsenal would be able to carry out a good counter attack so they could turn things around. but it turned out they actually lost quite embarrassingly 0 - 2, without a goal in return, even though they were playing at home. This certainly surprised Arsenal themselves. However, last season was like that, sometimes their performance started to decline in the middle of the season and hopefully this is the only time this silliness happens. They should learn from last season so as not to lose their chance again to hold the EPL title.

I have totally missed that but do you have some lines you can quote or a video you can provide a link to? Because usually Pep Guardiola is not the kind of guy who attacks other coaches except when he gets attacked. The only times I remember when he was willing to fire some bullets towards his fellow coaches was during his time when he was the manager of Barcelona and Mourinho of Real Madrid. But now, what was he bragging about and which coach has he been talking about in a bad tone?

I didn't see that. Where is Pep talking like Mou? Honestly I prefer Arsenal to win the championship but if Manchester City play better then they should be the champion again. We can't tell them not to do it anymore just because they always become champions. If they can play better, of course it should be them. I don't expect Pep to be like Mou. He is humble, unlike Mou.
Arteta still has a lot to fix. One day, Arsenal is playing very well, the next thing you know, they are finishing the match after taking 30 shots and not even scoring a goal.

It would not be wrong for Arsenal fans to hope for better and higher this season because as you can see, Arsenal is also close to the team at the top of the standings at the moment. Meanwhile, Chelsea is still quite far behind Arsenal and Liverpool, so you shouldn't have too high hopes for Chelsea, but for Arsenal it is still quite logical that there are fans who hope for better things, even if it's not by recruiting new players in the transfer market this winter. Because new players still don't necessarily fit into Arsenal's current playing pattern.

True Arsenal as been performing well and so the fans will definitely have high hopes especially because of last season, everyone one time had already agreed that the league was for Arsenal but we saw how things ends up. Also I don't really have any high hope for Chelsea now though in the earlier part of the season I was having that hope that this season will be different, Chelsea will do great but in the end it all seems nothing matters because Chelsea can't just stop being the most inconsistent team in the Epl getting win or draw in unexpected matches while losing those surest matches

Yeah Arsenal performance this season and last season are just almost the same but however I think they had more good performance last season than this season because they were leading on the table right from the beginning of the season till almost the end of the season when they made the mistake that brought them down from the premier League table and as such given Manchester City the opportunity of wining the league, so perhaps they came back to this season with almost the same performance but however this season is not too favourable for them as it is on there last season because they are not consistent on there first position this season because they seem to be fluctuating between the first position and second position on the table,so perhaps it seems they had more competitive clubs this season than there last season.

Manchester City might not be lucky this week, is it when they play against a bottom team like Sheffield United or do you have another team in mind? I don't know how a football lover would say Manchester City who are hungry for wins to shorten the points gap between Arsenal and Liverpool, would reason the possibility of Manchester City not having the 3 points added to their PL match points by Saturday.

Without much analysis of how the match would be, it is a must-home win for Manchester City against Sheffield United without a single doubt. No uncertainties of a football match can make or stop them from winning Sheffield United.

It’s safe to say Arteta is the real Arsenal now. Without him telling his boys what to do on the pitch, they just don’t get to be creative enough. I see that a lot with them these days and yeah, we could actually say they don’t get to take there chances and that’s pretty bad but, you can agree that they are still within a safe zone to be title contenders. They’ve not derailed from that path yet and it’s really possible that we could have them lifting the league trophy because, Manchester City don’t seem to be putting much effort to be in the race this season.

So that's what Arteta must do to quickly end their bad trend, namely that they must be able to get 3 points again in the next match. This season, of course Arteta must be able to carry out a good rotation when they have a busy schedule because if Arteta cannot carry out a good rotation of course it will have a negative impact on their performance this season. Apart from that, I also want see Arteta to bring in high quality stickers in this winter transfer window. Arteta must have a quality backup striker in the second half of the season because when Jesus is having difficulty scoring goals, of course Arteta can replace him with a backup striker.

So far Gabriel Jesus has not performed well enough in the matches he has played because statistically Gabriel Jesus has only recorded 3 goals in the 14 matches he has played. Therefore, I believe that Arsenal needs an attacker who is quite good at scoring goals. Maybe they can make Osimhen their main target in this winter's transfer window.

The fact that West Ham overcame Arsenal yesterday definitely caught me off guard. Although I never thought that would occur, I'm not really shocked because that is just how things normally go in football. Everyone will be shocked when an unlikely team upsets a formidable opponent that is widely predicted to win. Although West Ham isn't exactly weak, Arsenal is still playing really well. It was, in reality, Arsenal's home game, and the current state of the table makes it unlikely that Arsenal will ruin the match. To be honest, Arsenal hasn't been playing like a club excited to win the Premier League lately, and if they keep playing this way, they won't win anything this season again.
