Man City seemed to have prepared everything very neatly, when several lags were experienced they were able to survive a little so as not to fall too far into the position. Now the return of several  important players will provide additional strength in closing the gap with the teams at the top. Because currently there is instability occurring Aston Villa is starting to lose fuel to continue extending the positive trend and Arsenal has just been beaten by West Ham United without being able to put up a fight.  Maybe now Liverpool is worthy enough to  compete with Man City and prove who won the trophy.

His performance is just very amazing to see that. There is no doubt that people are beginning to praise his performance, especially since he has been ordered to replace Haaland, who will be missing some matches due to an injury. Im very happy to see that alvarez is showing he is truly a world class striker. Pep seldom deployed him in the striker position, yet he consistently demonstrates outstanding performance. Arsenal was missing so numerous chances and gunner has been trying so hard to equalize the game or at least get another point but it keeps failed. Arteta needs to evaluate the performance of its club.
The main weakness of arsenal was a defensive strategy. It puts arsenal to gamble that involved very high risk caused by the club potentially received direct counter attack from its opponent.

Chelsea got another win showing great resiliency as they are finishing the year in great form.The game was beautiful to watch and entertaining as both teams played carefree beautiful football and quite some goals were scored from both teams.I am  quite interesting to see how Manchester City will react to this back to back lost games as they are facing quite an easy opponent at home as Sheffield United and they have not scored as of yet.The other games are not of a great interest as middle teams are facing each other in most of those games.

Chelsea were lucky to win and didn’t show any resilience, they played woefully in the second half and almost bottled a 3 goal lead. It is a poor performance in my opinion and I wouldn’t say they end the year in great form, they need to step up their game because i think their performance is depreciating with time because few months back this is not how Chelsea played, even while losing they are more in control and are well coordinated but that’s not the case now.

The match was super interesting and both fans enjoyed it, Luton gave it their all and tried to fight their way back but in the end they couldn’t. Despite losing at home they need to be applauded for a wonderful performance despite going 3 goals down. It’s their mentality for me, “It’s not over until it’s over”.

Chelsea were so lucky to have won Luton because with the kind of pressure that Luton came with in the second half they would have equalized the goals if not for Elijah Adebayo's disallowed goal and his cross bar header, Luton deserve some accolade in this game as they were so determined despite the fact that they were already 3:0 down before Ross Barkley header in the 80th minute that made the goal 3:1. Cole Palmer of Chelsea also did a great Job as he scored a brace in the first half and second half respectively. Luton town seems to be very active in the second half as Elijah Adebayo have made the goals to be 2:3, I love Luton town pattern of play as the wingers always crosses the ball to the 18 yard box for a header. The game is ended and the score remains 2:3. I will just define Chelsea winning this game as luck because Luton town almost leveled all the goals but however, Chelsea won.

Chelsea won but it wasn't a fantastic win they could boost off for me. How can they lead by 3 goals and allow Luton to score 2 goals against them between the stoppage time of 10 minutes?
Chelsea not being able to comfortably secure a victory against their opponent without them conceding goals is the major problem I find in the Chelsea team that Pochettino needs to resolve. If more time had been given, the match between Luton and Chelsea would have ended in draw.

Manchester city is definitely going to win Sheffield without stress and I can tell from their performance so far that Sheffield may end up without a goal by the end of this match as Manchester city continually dominates the whole game keeping Sheffield at their 18 yard box and having only but a few chances to get to the midfield.

Sheffield is playing a very defensive tactics withe hopes of possible break outs on a counter attack to getting a goal but then Manchester city is already two goals ahead so I doubt if they will be able to get up to two opportunities of counter attack to getting an equalizer because I don't see them attempting to win this game , Sheffield almost had an early goal but the Manchester city keeper was smart enough to hold the ball outside the touch line, anyways I wasn't expecting any less from Manchester city against a club as this which can be considered weak.

I think manchester city struggled against the bottom team of the relegation zone shefield united, because the main striker erling haland was injured so he could not play.
I think Manchester City needs to buy a sharp 1st class striker to cover Erling Haland, even though there is already Julian Alvares.

The match kickoff and it's 1-0 with lead coming from Manchester City.

Even if Chelsea won this match, they could not dominate the match. At the same time, the weakness of Chelsea's defense was very well realized. Luton Town's players were confident and created plenty of attacking opportunities. If Chelsea's players were able to dominate the match, Luton Town would not have been able to attack so much. However, Chelsea managed to get 3 points in the end which is good news for Chelsea fans. However, Chelsea's performance needs to improve. If such a performance, the Chelsea team will not be able to place in the top 6 of the points table.

I also observed same thing from the match and winning today don't just mean they're back, just like the Arsenal vs West Ham and still with the pressure Arsenal gave West Ham managed to score two goals, sometimes we can't just tell how football works, Chelsea managed to gain 3 points today but their defense was very poor and they should improve, even with the present win throughout this week table might still turn around next week so I can't say Chelsea will dominate seeing their present fixtures, all they have to do is to come prepared.

Aston Villa  3 - 2  Burnley

Aston Villa vs Burnley match was very competitive. Even though it was an away match for Burnley, they played very well in this match. At the same time, the decline in Aston Villa's performance is well understood.

Aston Villa have dropped points in their last two matches. Because of this they cannot go to the top of the table. A win in today's match was essential for Villa to stay in the top four of the table. Aston Villa scored their first goal in the 28th minute. But Burnley equalized in just 2 minutes. However, at the end of the first half, Villa was leading 2-1.
After Berge's red card at the start of the second half, it became difficult for Burnley to perform well in the match. However, Burnley tied the game 2-2 with Foster's goal in the 71st minute. And if DeBrune returns now, they will gain more motivation from him, so don't be surprised to see them climbing. Manchester City wants to use Sheffield to send a message to people in the premier league and it does not make any difference with what is currently happening so congratulations on their winning Sheffield, and from the stats, they did not even give them breathing space from shots on target to ball procession.

Chelsea was almost losing three points. Luton played so aggresively at the end of match and it makes chelsea might have played fully defensive against luton. Im noticing that if chelsea defenders lack of experience to deal in the air.
It can be seen from how none prevented adebayo to heading the ball after he has received crossing from his team mate. Chelsea was almost bottling it and this is really bad for the club. The defensive line should become the main problem owned by chelsea.


Throughout the first half, the club displayed consistent performance on the field, however, an unfortunate turn of events occurred as they conceded two goals, which can be described as extremely disappointing. I thought that chelsea will be getting cleansheet against luton but i was wrong.
At least it was winning even with a narrow score. In addition to everyone else, the bettors are also feeling incredibly happy with the result of this match. manchester city is also get the job done perfectly. Despite Alvarez scoring, the team still ended up with a cleansheet in that game.

Manchester city had their struggles in the game, it's so obvious to notice that haaland is not in the game, and one mistake pep guardiola is making is to build a team around a single player, I'm happy Calvin de bruyne is hopeful of coming back to the team any moment from now, maybe he can help stir the wheels of this obvious lacuna in this Manchester city squad, phil foden has been really impressive with his performance, because he has been creating chances with his style of play, however is still obvious that there is something lacking in the Manchester City squad and their winning has not been too confidential like is always used to be, in all it a good win for the citizens.

Aston Villa are currently in the best position in the epl this season, they attack brilliantly in every match. The performance against Burnley was really impressive. It Is a pity for Sheffield United which has maintained the bottom position with just nine points in twenty games. Except the Blades improve they might end up going to relegation.

This has been the best season for Aston villa and they look very determined to maintain their position. The points between the top four teams is very small and any team can just loose their place even with a draw. Arsenal with just a loss have lost their place, and been pushed to fourth.

For Chelsea with their win, it is a good Christmas and new year gift to their supporters, they enter the new year in good spirit.

Luton played more bravely especially in the second half after they fell behind 3 goals Luton seemed to want to play more all out and it was evident where they could rival and slightly better than Chelsea in terms of possession and opportunities in the second half.

This was a bit of a problem for Chelsea as they were also still a bit weak especially for aerial duels as they seemed to let and not really want aerial duels which allowed Luton players to be a bit more comfortable in scoring goals in this match.
Other than that, I would like to praise Palmer for what he did in this match. He was again an oasis in the middle of Chelsea's drought and in this match he deserved to be MOTM with his 2 goals and 1 assist.
This reminds me of Kai last season for Chelsea. Hopefully, with what happened in the last 2 matches, they will be able to contribute even better when the EPL resumes in 2 weeks.

Pep Guardiola doesn't need more center forwards as long as one of Alvarez and Haaland is available in the squad and ready to play. Moreover, Pep Guardiola can still use several other players to score goals, Foden for example and also Grealish. I know that Alvarez is not as productive as Haaland in terms of scoring goals, but lately Alvarez has been scoring goals quite often, he even did it in the match against Sheffield.

Manchester City tends to need midfielders more than center forwards, including right wingers considering that Bernardo Silva is sometimes unable to provide good performances. But anyway, today Manchester City actually won the match against Sheffield United today and now they created a 2 point gap from Liverpool. Manchester City has a big chance of retaining its title this season, but they need to maintain consistency and improve their performance in every match. The way Luton played in the second half really gave me the impression that Chelsea would end up draw. However, in all honesty, Chelsea played well, scoring two goals in the first half. I believe Chelsea's performance has improved since some of its players returned from injury, and scoring two goals in the first half has not happened in a long time because Chelsea is not playing well.

I believe Luton's two goals back in the game was caused by some mistakes made by Chelsea players. The team's coach should take this into consideration as well because, when a player becomes fatigued and is unable to perform well, you should substitute him. The new player you choose should be able to manage the position and be willing to make mistakes until the game is over.

Chelsea played well against Luton but they need to perform well in their next match because I believe Chelsea will play a poor game and not perform as well as they did against Luton because their last match against West Ham was very bad and they deserved to win the game because they missed many chances. I don't like how Jackson is playing these days, especially after his performance against Tottenham. I think the kid will be a fine striker for Chelsea, but he's not impressing the supporters. If Chelsea continues to play well, I believe they may finish in sixth place in the league table and qualify for the Europa League next season if they continue playing great. Because they did not play well enough to qualify for the Champions League or the Europa League previous season, I believe they can qualify for the Europa League this season.

Chances created but the Blues couldn't handle any golden chance. Chelsea won against Luton Town, despite playing an intense game. Chelsea is my favorite club, and for an outline moment, I thought my side would split points with an average squad, but there's nothing to indicate because the top team always comes home with three points. On the Blues' side, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke both scored, giving Chelsea the advantage. Luton Town shown tenacity by attempting to weigh the energy of an elite side, which again did not end well.
