Chelsea  vs  Crystal palace

Chelsea are playing at their home today against Crystal Palace. I don't expect much from Chelsea. Their performance is very erratic. So I have refrained myself from betting on this match.

Chelsea's past record against Crystal Palace is very good. Chelsea last dropped points against Crystal Palace in 2017. Chelsea have won their last 12 matches against Palace. However, it is difficult to say whether Chelsea can continue this winning streak this season. Although Crystal Palace is a weak team, they will try to get 1 point by drawing in this match. On the other hand, since the performances of Chelsea's players are so erratic, there is no way to say for sure whether they will do well.

I expect this line up to win, this line up has purpose and desire when attacking. They know what they want but have only failed to convert the chances they've had in the first half of the game.

Gusto was responsible for that first goal scored by the Ukrainian Mudryk. He mad a good run from the half of Crystal Palace Into their penalty box. If I'm not mistaking, I'm not lashing out offensive words on this side as they're currently drawing the game.
They will win this game with a two one win tonight. Only if Christopher Nkuku had scored that goal, it should have been two goals to one in the first half.

Olise is such a great talent, he shouldn't stay on this declined Crystal Palace. Hodgson been given too much time already, he should be sacked.

There's still more goals to be scored in the next half and Nkuku will be lucky to have a goal, unless he is substituted.
A player like Olise should be well fitted for a club like Chelsea, because I know if Jose Mourinho was still the manager he would have been well pleased with Olise's performance that he would speculate on buying him.
The troubles for Chelsea this season is just so much that looking at the bench of injuries and disciplinary actions, the manager needs a soccer miracle to even sit near or on top the first 5 top finishers on the EPL table this season.

palace ate playing like a troubled team they are not settled with the ball and it's making Chelsea play as if they are too good with the ball as Chelsea are always rushing them to gain much possession of the ball, though Chelsea later seem to be relaxed after scoring their goal.  Crystal palace all they have to do is to change the pattern of their game add a little confidence in holding the ball and making calm passes. With a 1:1 scoreline in the first half the chances are that crystal palace can make it through in getting more goals in the second half.

I watched the first half until the end and honestly Chelsea's game was very good and they deserved to close the first half with a win. But unfortunately, Chelsea conceded at the end of the first half by Michael Olise who was standing free without a guard in Chelsea's defense. Chelsea dominated the match, but it was a shame because they really wasted several good opportunities to increase their lead due to poor finishing. The temporary score is 1-1, but it looks like Chelsea can still win this match in the end.

The Everton vs Manchester City match was very intensive, both played at a high tempo and currently Manchester City is 0-1 behind Everton. Manchester City was a little pressured by Everton's high pressing, but I hope Pep Guardiola can ask his players to control the tempo of the game instead of following Everton's style of play.

Is the issue of Chelsea really one more player?
I don’t see Olise to be the solution for Chelsea’s container bad performance. Nope, it’s just about another good player. Well, we could say some players are more adaptive to a teams style of play than others. Like, Chelsea had J. Felix and did nothing with him but, his now in the  Barcelona team and making good out of his play for Barcelona. Managers have come and go and the issuer with Chelsea still persists with very slight improvements.
What I’ve figured to be there issue is that winning mentality, to go out and attack more with a striker that can be able to convert most of the Chelsea chances at goal.
Creating these goal opportunities have not been the problem for Chelsea but a finisher is. Chelsea need a very good finisher and that isn’t something Olise could provide.

Although Everton lost in their last game against Tottenham Hotspur I think they play well and deserved more than just a goal in that match. Manchester city is coming back from lifting the world club cup competition certifying Manchester city as the best club currently in the world, this makes them my favorite in today's game.
I think Manchester city would break Everton defense and score multiple of goals but I think it would be a both team score result.

Well I am not sure about how easy it would be for Manchester city to break the defense of Everton but I Know one thing for sure and thats the severity at which Manchester city needs to win this game because of the poor performance they have being portraying and I know guadiola is not a man who likes his team to perform very poor for too long without actually correcting the error.

It's only been 35 minutes so far and Manchester City are pressing very well. However Everton still got them a goal, I don't know what's going on with Manchester City, they are conceding and yet dominating the match. They conceded to a team that is 14th in the table.

But I think that is quite understandable because up to now Everton have not been able to beat Man City either at home or away. Man City will clearly remain favorites even without Haaland. Because it is certain that Haaland will not play in this match. But still, with the squad that will be played today, Man City will still be the favorite. Nottingham Forest will be a tougher opponent for Manchester United than Aston Villa was, because they are quite consistent in their team output and everyone knows their place, unlike Manchester United where the teammates still trying hard to be a better fit for the managers book, rather than for the betterment of the team.
I was happy for Hojlunds first goal sincerely and if he can pair well with Rashford or Martial am sure he would shine better with more goals to his name.

I don't understand what can be said when saying Nottingham Forrest will be scarier than Aston Villa?
Even though in this case the performance of Manchester United is still not too predictable but comparing Nottingham Forrest's performance with Aston Villa and can be much more frightening i think it's too much.

Indeed maybe in terms of this match it will be different because surely when Manchester United meet Nottingham Forrest tactically  
 Nottingham will definitely do a defensive scheme so that they don't concede the ball but in terms of performance they are still very weak and cannot be compared with Aston Villa.
Currently Manchester United  momentum is still very much there especially with the success of Hojlund to score their first goal in the EPL it is hoped that it will be able to bring  Manchester United back to a better direction  although sometimes their performance is unpredictable because it could also be a momentum that fails to return after they won this week with a dramatic comeback.

Their dominance is still felt because this is the most likely thing to happen but the chances they have are still wasted because of the lack of effectiveness in their attacks and they still need time with the squad they have at the moment.

If Everton manage to steal points again from Manchester City, then I can consider Manchester City off the race for the title because it will mean they have lost points many times and still stand the chance of losing more points before the season gets to an end. The race for the winner of the Premier League would be between Arsenal and the Liverpool who are currently locked in a battle for first place and look to reinforce their team with any opportunity that we have in the transfer window.

Julian Alvarez who is in the position and shoes of the injured Haaland will need to show that he can represent for the team when Haaland is out injured.

Haaland is a striker who can determine victory for Manchester City, while Doku and Kevin De Bruyne are two players who can help make attack patterns more effective. So far Manchester City has had great difficulty penetrating Everton's defense because of the tight defense, but several opportunities should have been maximized but so far they have failed.

On several occasions Alvarez has been a selfish player, and so far he has failed to show his best performance when given the opportunity to be the main center forward when Haaland was injured. Alvarez played well with Haaland, but he failed to perform without Haaland. I may be wrong, but I see it that way.

Everton will maximize defense, while they will try to counterattack. The second half should be better for Manchester City and they should be able to strive a win to close the points gap with Liverpool and Arsenal.

Outside the fact Chelsea defence hasn't been impressive this evening, the strikers are not helping matters as well, just imagine the one on one Jackson have missed this second half, that would have made the game 2-1 in favour of Chelsea if he had scored, even when he tried to score one, it was disallowed by the Referee as offside, however they've been awarded a penalty after EZE fowled madueke at the 18 yard box, madueke afterward stood up and took the spot kick, making the game 2-1.
