I agree with Garry Neville that Manchester United returned to what they are. Here, it's their normal bad quality in this season without ability to maintain their stable performances. After one or some good matches that lit the light of hope for their fans, their players have one or some bad, disappointed matches. It is their normal flow of performances in this season and see farther, it existed in the past season too.

It means after one season and a half, Ten Hag did not succeed to improve it for Manchester United. With his failure as a coach, Manchester United are struggling in a highly competitive race with other clubs to get like one or two rest positions in top four.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth.

I don't think Chelsea have a chance to qualify for the Champions League. Chelsea's performance has been erratic. More importantly, Aston Villa, Tottenham and West Ham have been performing more consistently than Chelsea. So even if Chelsea come back on track and perform well, they will not be able to finish in the top four of the table unless Aston Villa, Tottenham and West Ham drop points in succession. My guess is that at the end of the season we will probably see Chelsea in seventh or eighth place in the table. Chelsea will not be able to make it into the top six.

Let's look at the teams in the top four of the standings, then compare them with Chelsea's current performance. I can only guess that the three slots for the UCL will belong to Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City. One more slot is still up for grabs by another team that performs better than Chelsea. Aston Villa is trying to take advantage of the positive trend this season to compete in the UCL, Tottenham and West Ham also want to be included in the elite list. There is no hope at all for Chelsea to get into the top four, Pochettino has failed to realize the expression of a team that wants to compete again in the top four.

It was a comfortable game for Manchester City but the score could have been bigger than this anyway of course. It seems like Haaland and De Bruyne's absence at the same time affects the scoring productivity quite much even in this kind of games.     De Bruyne was actually in the substitutes but Guardiola didn't want to sub him in.

Maybe Guardiola wanted to have him on the pitch as of the Newcastle game ahead in the league. It is an away game and could be a really tough game. Newcastle are worse than the previous season though but they can still be dangerous.

It was more of a boring game for the eyes to see, I didn't believe a team like Manchester City having Pep Guardiola would dominate and play some entertaining shiit for the fans.

Not just Erling and Kevin. The absence of Jeremy Doku also is important. When Kdb was away, Doku would ignite the tempo of the game but we saw the drunk Jack Grealish making my eyes itch as I watch them play the slowest game since Pep Guardiola took over.

Eddie Howe also having a poor season with Newcastle United. He's protected by the media because he's managing a small club and he's a British manager. I'd love them to put same energy they put into sacking Erik Ten Hag and do same with Eddie Howe.

I can agree about Jack Grealish as well. I mean he is a left winger but I can't see good enough contribution from him like goals and assists. He should be able to do better than this if he is really a skilled player. But he is showing himself like an average player to people honestly. It is like he is able to perform better than this when he plays for average teams like Aston Villa.

Manchester City spent a lot of money for this transfer as well you know. I wonder how contented Guardiola is with his performance. By the way Doku can really be a big player and consolidate his place at Manchester City in time. He is really talented.

Aston Villa won 3-2 against Burnley and closed the last match of the year with 3 points.Aston Villa won at home against Burnley with a dominant football against Burnley, Aston Villa played a better game than their opponent and deserved to win.If Burnley had not been down to 10 men, maybe we could have seen a different result because they managed to bring the situation to a draw despite being down to 10 men.Aston Villa lost the match with a penalty in the last minutes.

The early kickoff game between Chelsea and Luton Town yesterday was epic and entertaining especially to neutrals as the club's five goals were scored in that encounter but it was also raised some worrying issues about Chelsea and how vulnerable their defense have been since the start of the season and in most times have caused them defeats. In game they first went three goals up, Chelsea still had to struggle in the closing minutes to grab all three points from the game.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochentino really has a lot of work to do if he truly wants to make things work again. The team's defense is too porous and must be worked on

Chelsea's performance lately has been a rollercoaster for me. I liked their aggressive style against Luton Town, especially in the first half. Three goals is impressive and displays their frontline talent. In the last 10 minutes, the mood changes. They lose their framework and its edge-of-your-seat stuff, wondering if they'll hold on. I think Pochentino and the young team need more time. His suitability for the team is still uncertain. Stability and progress need time for a young, changing team.

Its hard to see nail-biting moments, especially when they concede late. However, creating a strong defense and teamwork takes time. I'll endure Pochentino's struggles, even though they're frustrating. Neither Rome nor a strong Chelsea defense were constructed overnight.

Are you still having hope that Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League? I don’t really think so. I am not still satisfied with Chelsea's performance, so I can’t say they are back on track. The clubs currently in the top 4 performance can’t be compared with Chelsea's performance, so it will be kind of difficult to find their way into the top 4 this season. Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham. Those are the clubs in the top six currently, and I am expecting four clubs among the six clubs that I mentioned above to qualify for the Champions League. The clubs that I mentioned above are just better than Chelsea this season, and I don’t think Chelsea can get to the top 4 in any way with their current performance this season.

Anyway it's tough watching Manchester United these days; they seem consistently inconsistent and lack coordination.
I doubt Ten Hag will last in the United job. He has no plan, no tactics, and no pressing strategy. There's been no improvement in any player under his management. Despite the significant spending last summer, the team's performance has worsened. The players' body language reflects a loss of confidence, with Antony being the poorest performer among all United players.

They're at the top of the table too and so they've got technically a higher probability of surfacing their host in the game even though Fulham may try to stay in the game and be meaningful too. Manchester city spend quite enormous amounts on signing potential players this season, it's really frustrating to watch these players becoming flop and some matching with the price value they have. Manchester City have numerous star players and Pep Guardiola will always make good use of the available players that have good contributions to the club. There are favorite players on my list, Jeremy Doku is good but he's not consistent and doesn't have enough endurance to play tougher matches, he needs to develop into final stages.

Are you still having hope that Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League? I don’t really think so. I am not still satisfied with Chelsea's performance, so I can’t say they are back on track. The clubs currently in the top 4 performance can’t be compared with Chelsea's performance, so it will be kind of difficult to find their way into the top 4 this season. Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham. Those are the clubs in the top six currently, and I am expecting four clubs among the six clubs that I mentioned above to qualify for the Champions League. The clubs that I mentioned above are just better than Chelsea this season, and I don’t think Chelsea can get to the top 4 in any way with their current performance this season.

Regardless of who will win the EPL trophy, I predict Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Aston Villa have great potential to finish in the top four of the standings, so they will automatically appear in the Champions League next season. Chelsea no longer have any hope of breaking into the top four, perhaps their most realistic target now is to finish in the Europa League zone, or even if they are only able to finish one level better than last season.
