Pep Guardiola doesn't need more center forwards as long as one of Alvarez and Haaland is available in the squad and ready to play. Moreover, Pep Guardiola can still use several other players to score goals, Foden for example and also Grealish. I know that Alvarez is not as productive as Haaland in terms of scoring goals, but lately Alvarez has been scoring goals quite often, he even did it in the match against Sheffield.

Manchester City tends to need midfielders more than center forwards, including right wingers considering that Bernardo Silva is sometimes unable to provide good performances. But anyway, today Manchester City actually won the match against Sheffield United today and now they created a 2 point gap from Liverpool. Manchester City has a big chance of retaining its title this season, but they need to maintain consistency and improve their performance in every match. The good news is that De Bruyne and Haaland will be ready to return to the squad in the near future, so Manchester City's strength will continue to increase.

Chelsea were so lucky to have won Luton because with the kind of pressure that Luton came with in the second half they would have equalized the goals if not for Elijah Adebayo's disallowed goal and his cross bar header, Luton deserve some accolade in this game as they were so determined despite the fact that they were already 3:0 down before Ross Barkley header in the 80th minute that made the goal 3:1. Cole Palmer of Chelsea also did a great Job as he scored a brace in the first half and second half respectively. Luton town seems to be very active in the second half as Elijah Adebayo have made the goals to be 2:3, I love Luton town pattern of play as the wingers always crosses the ball to the 18 yard box for a header. The game is ended and the score remains 2:3. I will just define Chelsea winning this game as luck because Luton town almost leveled all the goals but however, Chelsea won.

The way Luton played in the second half really gave me the impression that Chelsea would end up draw. However, in all honesty, Chelsea played well, scoring two goals in the first half. I believe Chelsea's performance has improved since some of its players returned from injury, and scoring two goals in the first half has not happened in a long time because Chelsea is not playing well.

I believe Luton's two goals back in the game was caused by some mistakes made by Chelsea players. The team's coach should take this into consideration as well because, when a player becomes fatigued and is unable to perform well, you should substitute him. The new player you choose should be able to manage the position and be willing to make mistakes until the game is over.

Chelsea played well against Luton but they need to perform well in their next match because I believe Chelsea will play a poor game and not perform as well as they did against Luton because their last match against West Ham was very bad and they deserved to win the game because they missed many chances. I don't like how Jackson is playing these days, especially after his performance against Tottenham. I think the kid will be a fine striker for Chelsea, but he's not impressing the supporters. If Chelsea continues to play well, I believe they may finish in sixth place in the league table and qualify for the Europa League next season if they continue playing great. Because they did not play well enough to qualify for the Champions League or the Europa League previous season, I believe they can qualify for the Europa League this season.

Overall Chelsea is not better than Luton but that's not something strange because of the fact that Luton always plays aggressively against great teams Arsenal 4-3 Newcastle 0-1 Manchester City 2-1 and today Chelsea 3-2 well, from all these matches we can conclude that Luton always scores goals, even 3 goals against Arsenal. This is Chelsea 2nd win this week, I'm not saying Chelsea is back because they have done it before then again back to poor performance therefore we cannot yet conclude what Chelsea's condition has been like recently at least we have to watch 3-5 more matches.

Chances created but the Blues couldn't handle any golden chance. Chelsea won against Luton Town, despite playing an intense game. Chelsea is my favorite club, and for an outline moment, I thought my side would split points with an average squad, but there's nothing to indicate because the top team always comes home with three points. On the Blues' side, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke both scored, giving Chelsea the advantage. Luton Town shown tenacity by attempting to weigh the energy of an elite side, which again did not end well.

Great but possibly fortunate win for Aston Villa today. They just keep getting results don’t they, I’ve been expecting them to slide down the table for ages but they don’t.

It’s very unlikely they win the title or even really compete for it as we enter March and April but Emery is doing a great job there. Just to finish in the top 4 would be an amazing achievement.

Nottingham Forest played an attacking game. Varane and Evans made it difficult to guard Manchester United's defense.
Even though the Nottingham attack troubled Manchester United's two gatekeepers, it was not that dangerous because it could still be controlled.
Manchester United will not get a disappointing result tonight against Nottingham even though they were able to beat Newcastle United in the last match at the St. James' Park stadium.

Manchester United must be able to take advantage of the important match against Nottingham Forest to be in 6th place in the standings, because Manchester United has a very good record in 5 matches against Nottingham Forest, and Nottingham Forest has never won against Manchester United.

But when he was not available, Manchester City had dropped points here and there. Manchester City right now looks far away from the title right now. But if teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Aston Villa keep drawing and losing matches like they did recently, Manchester City has a chance. Arsenal lost against West Ham yesterday, Liverpool drew against Arsenal and Aston Villa lost against Manchester United. So we can say Manchester City still has a chance for that title but the chances are slim. Haaland needs to return to the squad as quickly as possible.

It’s very unlikely they win the title or even really compete for it as we enter March and April but Emery is doing a great job there. Just to finish in the top 4 would be an amazing achievement.

That's right, when Aston Villa can finish in the top four of the standings and appear in the Champions League next season, then that will be a truly extraordinary achievement. Considering the level of competition in the Premier League is very competitive, it will take a miracle for Unai Emery to be able to win the trophy at the end of the season. I think Aston Villa can continue to compete closely in the top four, and their latest win over Burnley moved them up to 2nd in the standings.

Unai Emery deserves praise and an award as the best coach for December, because thanks to his performance Aston Villa managed to consistently be in the top four of the standings. On the other hand, Emery also seems to need to take advantage of the January transfer market which will open soon, to build a balanced squad. I'm sure Aston Villa management will definitely give him a budget, because they have seen Emery abilities and the results of his hard work so far.

Here we go again. Manchester city has won the match with 2-0 against Sheffield. In 14 minutes, Rodri has broken out the leading goal for a team; besides that, J. Alvarez has taken the lead into twice in 61 minutes. All the players play very well, and P. Foden has won the man of the match. Manchester city are just dominating the game with possession as we shoot. They made up 82% possession of the game and took 4 shots on target out of 18. 

Furthermore, even without Haaland, the club performed admirably. Kevin de Bruyne also sits on the bench, but I think this is a very creative idea to not play them on the second half because he spends a lot of time in injury, so therefor to put up pressure or emphasize on De Bruney to play the match, so it will not be good for a top-class So it is not a proper act for a player to play heavy duty as soon as he recovers from injury because De Brunei had a hamstring problem, and suddenly playing hard immediately after this injury can injure the player again, and Manchester City did not want it again. Kevin De Bruyne is injured again. And I think it was a better decision not to play Kevin De Bruyne in the match.

I have to agree with you that Manchester city most important player is Rodri, but I will equally place De Bruyne there two, this two combine are what Manchester city have been lacking all season. Pep actually went out to buy players that can at least play that Rodri position but sincerely none of the signings have his capabilities. He can play as a lone defensive midfielder, can play a double pivot too but the other two new midfielders can’t be a lone defensive midfielder, that’s why city suffer more when Rodri isn’t available. As for De Bruyne it is showing too much this season how over important he is to Manchester City and Pep because Gundogan who always fills that empty space for him isn’t there anymore.

Julian Alvarez to me is only behind Halaand in some of the striker qualities like physical battle or aerial battles but the rest he is definitely on par with Halaand. He is even better with the ball at his feet and can create chances too when not scoring. If we are to ask about a complete player then he edges Halaand to me

I meant they might not be lucky about their top rivals' results on the new game week. As I said Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa all have opponents that they can beat. Arsenal got their first home loss against West Ham on the previous week though. But I think they will make up for it by this week. They should be able to finish their winless streak of 2 games by beating Fulham away.

I agree. This is the best season for Aston Villa. They are playing excellent performance. And the team still has a chance to grab the top spot in the points table. Aston Villa is now in second place in the table. Aston Villa team is 2 points ahead of Manchester City. The players are confident enough and capable of scoring a lot of goals. However, Aston Villa's defense is quite weak. If the defense doesn't improve, they won't even be in the top four of the table. So Aston Villa's coach should now strengthen his defense more. The team conceded 27 goals in 20 matches. Aston Villa conceded two goals against a weak opponent in today's match.

Manchester United are just making the fans to always have a reason to be upset in every game they play, that's if they lose. I can't believe how Manchester United would play the whole of 1st half and all they got on goal, just 1 shot on target, their style of play is just so slow, no impact, is like they're not serious.
The second half is suppose to be more lively compared to the 1st half, I'm expecting to see more chances to be created and converted by the home side. Garnacho is a lad that's just selfish and Rashford on the other hand is really struggling, I wonder what UTD need to do just to get a single goal in this fixture.

Erik Ten Hag knows what to do if he wants to win match on City ground, because the home team are not friendly as expected. The boring match was from first half, because both sides have continued to make mistakes but the second half is different, United holding tight areas on the pitch. Nottingham Forest holding the Red Devils down and pressuring them interms of goals attempts, they're not going to give up so easily because accumulate three points is their main target and nothing is stopping them. Elanga is a threat to the Red Devils defendlines and he should not be stopped.

Aston Villa  3 - 2  Burnley

Aston Villa vs Burnley match was very competitive. Even though it was an away match for Burnley, they played very well in this match. At the same time, the decline in Aston Villa's performance is well understood.

Aston Villa have dropped points in their last two matches. Because of this they cannot go to the top of the table. A win in today's match was essential for Villa to stay in the top four of the table. Aston Villa scored their first goal in the 28th minute. But Burnley equalized in just 2 minutes. However, at the end of the first half, Villa was leading 2-1.
After Berge's red card at the start of the second half, it became difficult for Burnley to perform well in the match. However, Burnley tied the game 2-2 with Foster's goal in the 71st minute. Honestly, I'm just waiting for the final result of this fight. but as I said in the previous post, this match will produce lots of goals. and yeah, the 3 goal option with odds @1.77 is what I expected. because, betting on the home team the odds offered are not very attractive at @1.5+. referring to match statistics, I didn't expect that Burnley would put up quite a fierce resistance. Aston Villa took the lead first, and in the first half the score was 2-1. uniquely, one of the Burnley squad players was given a red card, but they were able to equalize the score at 2-2. until finally in the 89th minute, Aston Villa benefited by getting a prize at the penalty spot. obviously, Aston Villa will not waste this opportunity and at the same time this goal is their victory over Burnley. statistically and the course of the match, Aston Villa was much better than the home team, both from a technical and tactical perspective. however, with this result Unai Emery has a more difficult job to improve their defense. the reason is, Aston Villa almost conceded in every match. moreover, Burnley was able to score two goals, even though Burnley was a team that was actually in the red zone. with this result, Aston Vila temporarily shifted the ranking occupied by Arsenal.

In other matches, City was only able to score two goals against their opponent, namely Sheffield Utd. as I said, City will probably only score two goals. however, City still got full points and is temporarily ranked 3rd in the Premier League standings.
Tomorrow, Arsenal will visit Fulham's home ground. in order for their position to rise, the Gunners must overthrow Fulham. three points, is the result they must take home.

The game itself is very poor in the aspect of performance from the teams involved and that includes the home and away team. Imagine it's already 56mins into the game and we have just a single shot on target from united where as the home is zero on target. But for the aspect of strange pattern of play Manchester united is certainly the team with the stats because no one ever expected them to win the game against villa and maybe this particular game that's favourable for them to win they might just tend to flop it and then loose out.

United is certainly having some trouble, but doesn't mean they will lose, its still a tie, and they have a chance to win. Aside from that, even though they started terrible to the season, they have recovered a bit and doing better now, but that doesn't mean they will win every single game they play against weaker teams, even City sometimes loses even though its rare it does happen and it is even more natural for United to lose sometimes. They are on average doing better than the start, if you look at first ten games and last ten games you can see the difference. This doesn't mean they will get 30 points in the next 10 games, we all know that, so sometimes they may end up dropping some points.
