Manchester United have held talks with Juventus over the possibility of bringing Adrien Rabiot to Old Trafford. United, who suffered a 1-2 defeat to Brighton on the opening day of the Premier League season, are chasing a midfielder after being left out by Pogba.

Obviously, there’s still some work to be done in the club aside tactics and strategies before the club can come back to its former glory. In the first half that let Manchester United conceded so they lost two goals but it was a bad game in my opinion, I saw their midfielders couldn't provide more passes forward as his accuracy, apart from that as a striker many failed to finish it made them fail scored another goal and one of them only hit the opponent and in the end became a goal, I also became pessimistic seeing Manchester United's game did not change at all, even though it was the beginning of the game and it was too early to say this but seeing yesterday's game it was really bad.

Things could get even worse with United's next game away against Brentford. On the one hand, this is not such a strong opponent in order to forgive the second defeat in a row, and on the other hand, Brentford is a strong enough team to take away points from United at home. If United do not win, then it will sink to the very bottom of the standings after only two rounds, and after games with not the strongest opponents. It will be a terrible start to the season for United and Ten Hag.

The score did not surprise me. Starting Eriksen at the striker, keeping Ronaldo in reserve in the first game? Captain Maguire? Indeed, if Manchester United continues like this, they will surely miss the last season and think 'wow that season was wonderful compared to this'. Manchester United defeat came as a huge surprise to me and I was shocked a giant like Manchester United would lose to a team like Brighton. Not here to poke at Brighton fans but Brighton shouldn’t have been a problem to Manchester United as “on paper”, Manchester United would have won Brighton but like we all saw, Manchester United got beaten by the underdogs and on its home ground too.

Honestly it's like Man Utd unconvincing performances of last season is about to continue this season without any  changes yet, It's unbelievable that a star-studded club like Man Utd will lose even at Old Trafford to lowly rated Brighton, however I believe there is room for improvement, I am very sure Erik Ten might have taken notice of the tactical lapses recorded in their last match and prevent will it as well as correcting it, as the team play Brentford in their next fixture, I am expecting a more improve Man Utd squad who will try to redeem their image and make their fans happy once again.

Remember that chelsea and arsenal are also starting to back to its best performance. MU is the one who has been giving the worst performance. If that will always continue and it will become a disaster. Seriously! was this a coincidence? I don't think so. Brighton performed well enough. And they deserve this win. Manchester United had more of the ball possession in the first half and played defensively. On the other hand, Brighton tried to score. United's players made several attacks but I did not see any strong attacks. Brighton won and they won with a good performance. This is no coincidence. If the performance of Manchester United does not improve, they will not get the expected performance in the upcoming matches

Aston Villa are the favorites in the match against Everton where Villa's odds are much lower than Everton. Villa have had some important players this season and that makes them look better than Everton. I believe Villa's win is more than 2 goals, but a draw must also be considered. This is because both teams started the season in a bad way where their defeat made me think the possibility of a draw existed.

the reason why MU and ten hag are so keen on de jong is so that he is able to cover the gaps in United's mid-back midfield, really sad to see Manchester United lose at home to Brighton and this is ten hag's first defeat at Old Trafford.

In my opinion, Manchester United didn’t really put much effort in trying to score goals and if I didn’t know better, I would say they underestimated their opponents. It’s very well safe to say it’s too early to criticize Ten Hag on his tactics as it’s only been one match but one would have expected Manchester United to win its first game of the season. One being played at home grounds too. Hopefully, we’ll see some much needed improvements in its second game. Improvements the fans would love to see

There are some that I regret in this match including the different schemes that Ten Hag showed so it seemed like trying there, other than that Ronaldo wasn't there from the start, although we do know that this is part of the sanctions given due to him leaving early during the match. pre-season tour and most recently was Maguire's starter which made this the Ten Hag's biggest mistake in this game.

Brighton was one of the underdogs last season even at the beginning of the season they were in the top ranks and became a frightening specter for big teams last season so indeed something like this is also likely to happen again and MU has felt it.
