This season was really amazing because during this season we had a very close race between the top teams of the table and until last week all the teams had hoped to get a better place in the table.

I agree. The just concluded season was really interesting as we almost had Arsenal win the cup. They had been having a good run and I did think they would have won the title. And it was also great seeing Manchester City winning games, accumulate points and climbed up through the ranks, overtaking Arsenal and finally won the league. It was also interesting to see some teams like Brighton play well against some top clubs.
Clubs like Chelsea would need to change tactics in order to have better performances next season. Perhaps the new coach would make some difference.

The next season would be more interesting and more competitive.

I am sure Newcastle in the next season will battle for the first spot in the premiere judging from the performance in this season even though their hard rough history we're able to build up to this very level where they gave Manchester United a tough runoff for the position but eventually lost it to them at the end, being so that the present club condition has become a pointer to what we can expect in the coming season if all things being equal for Newcastle till that time.

in my opinion, look at the way Newcastle has revamped his team after being bought by the Arab prince. Even though there is a lot of money, it seems that the intention to build a team is very good because you don't spend a lot right away. they try to take advantage of existing players and buy cheap players and high potential young players like Alexander Isak. for next season it looks like they are targeting a slightly easier trophy like the FA or carabao and trying to compete at the top, if for the EPL champion it doesn't seem like their target is to win the UCL. they don't seem to want to build a team instantly without a process. But whatever it is. With the rise of Newcastle like this, it will be increasingly difficult for the big fours like Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool to compete in the EPL. Manchester United's journey this season has been full of obstacles and even though they had risen to finish in 3rd place in the EPL standings this season, they still have some work to do. We know that Manchester United has the opportunity to win various titles this season such as the European League and the FA Cup, but they failed to achieve both and had to settle for returning to Old Trafford without bringing these two trophies. In the European league, Manchester United may be unlucky because there are a number of problems, such as the number of players who have started getting injured and also the mistakes of the players that we usually see which made them finally get rid of by Sevilla.

At the start of the season, there were many who doubted Ten Hag as coach of The Red Devils. however, over time. plus, the departure of Ronaldo. United just found their rhythm, especially after Casemiro was always played as the main starter. Casemiro's presence with United made a difference, as well as transmitting a winning mentality to his team-mates. unfortunately, in the winter window, Ten Hag was not given the opportunity to bring in the players he wanted. which in the end, there was no choice but to borrow several players. Weghorst's presence didn't really help, this player didn't contribute too much. that's why, Ten Hag gave him the task of opening up space for his teammates. As for Sabitzer, this player is on loan from Bayern Munich. however, signing these two players does not answer the needs of the team.

I am not sure if Liverpool sold Mane because they felt they will buy Nunez to replace him. If it was what happened, it is a dump move by Liverpool and a let down to Mane. Just because Nunez scored good number of goals in an unpopular league doesn't mean that he is fit to replace Mane who has a very large work rate in Liverpool.
Actually, Liverpool's selling of Mane is a big mistake they made and I am sure they regretted it at one point or the other even if they are not going to admit it.

Totally agreed. Nunez isn't even a player who has the same characteristics with Mane. I don't think it would be fair to expect the same effort as Mane from him. Actually the natural positions of these players are already different. Diaz is closer to Mane's role right now actually. But he was also away from so many games due to injury.

I don't know how much Nunez would improve his game but I hope to not see Diaz injured again next season. Because since the day he joined his contribution has been quite impressive. In the games Salah was like a ghost Diaz took big responsibilities.

Everton team was in real danger this season until the last round i did not expect this poor performance from them with the good squad they had i think their main problem was their offense they only managed to score 34 goals in 38 games which is really poor for a team with such history i hope they correct their mistakes in the next season and they sign a good manager and some good players.

Erik Ten Heg is a coach who has a strategic style similar to Pep Guardiola. So do not be surprised if he is able to build Manchester United into a team that is getting better. Even though they started last season with a lot of conflicts going on within the club. But in the end, Ten Heg was able to resolve the conflict and bring harmony between the players, which was evident from the improvement in teamwork which was getting better. From the middle of the season to the end of the season that has just passed, we can see how Manchester United continues to maintain its consistency quite well. It's just that sometimes they are careless about weak teams. and yes I agree that what Manchester United lacks is the accuracy of the attacks they build and also the shooting accuracy of the forward players. Even Bruno Fernandes often fails to shoot the ball right on target. even though he was very good when he played for the Portuguese national team. but at Manchester United he sometimes failed to get a shot on target. but in other ways like making passes and so on I really admire Bruno Fernandes. perhaps a good forward addition to the squad in the forthcoming transfer market is necessary to solve the problem. And currently quite a lot of players are being targeted by Manchester United.

Why would Nunez be compared to Mane?? I mean, I don't even see a reason why they should - anyone with clear eyes would see that Nunez is tryna build up his game play, which Clearly happens in every match he plays... He's simply growing - it might be he's growing towards who he dreamed to become (he's still got more years to play), on the other hand, it might not - it all depends on his efforts.
Mane plays a position that enhances every game - he's responsible for the circulation of passes across and in-between the midfields ... Nunez cannot perform those task from the left wing (which he played because Diaz was on injury) nor the forward he plays normally.

Erik Ten Hag does have firmness in every rule that he applies where the main thing is the discipline of his foster children in heeding the rules that he has implemented. It's not half-hearted if one of them violates this then the punishment will immediately be given to both the players. Thus Erik Ten Hag performance in his first season with Manchester United was quite impressive because Erik Ten Hag was able to bring Manchester United to finish in the top 3 this season. Even though this is quite impressive in Manchester United appearance this season, they need to overhaul the squad in the transfer market, where Erik needs several players who have good quality to support their performance next season, especially in the Champions League.

Manchester United return to the top of the standings seems to indicate that the Red Devils will be a team to be reckoned with next season. Manchester United only needs a sticker who has a good mentality in scoring goals in every game and that is the job that Erik has to do in the transfer market.

If Joao Felix is considered so valuable to other clubs that are struggling to win leagues and have faith in his abilities, why don't they utilize him for their own team's success in domestic leagues and the Champions League? Since joining the club in 2019, Atletico Madrid has only managed to secure a single La Liga trophy, and since then, they haven't added any more trophies to their collection, it seems to me that there has been a lot of hype surrounding Joao Felix, but the actual results have not lived up to expectations.

Another possible reason why I think Atletic decide to continue being loaned Joao Felix to different clubs is the financial benefit that Atletico Madrid gains from these deals. For instance, in the transfer deal with Chelsea for just half a season, Atletico earned a significant amount of $16 million without having to give anything in return. If this was only for a partial season, one can imagine the potential earnings from a complete season deal.

It's pretty obvious you've not been following the Spanish La Liga. Spain has a very strict financial policy that makes it difficult for teams to hold on to highly paid players except the club is generating a lot of money.
There's a reason Barcelona had to activate leavers before they could sign players next season. There's a reason Sevilla couldn't buy a valued player during the summer transfer window. There's a reason a lot of Spanish teams let their top players leave recently, an example is in Isak that left Real Sociedad to Newcastle. It wasn't because he was not good, but an offer came and it was an offer they can't refused because of how strict the rules are and they could use that money to loosen themselves a bit.

To me, Felix is not as good as he is rated, but he is good. Atletico are not selling him because he's not good, but they need space in their wage bill snd they need to sell a big player to balance the financial books or else they will be sanctioned by La Liga.
There was even a time they considered selling Rodrigo De Paul just after his first season. It had nothing to with his abilities.
Barcelona right now are fighting for a way to bring in new recruitment without letting go of their high profile players.

Leicester have finally announced the players who are about to leave the club. The players are:

- Daniel Amartey
- Ryan Bertrand
- Ayoze Perez
- Nampalys Mendy

It is very interesting to not see James Maddison among these players. But of course his contract doesn't expire this summer like Tielemans' do. However I still expect to see him leaving the club as well. Because he can't just compete in the Championship while he is a really solid talent. He is still young so I believe he can find an above average team for himself in the Premier League. Normally I would have liked to see him at Arsenal especially. But they already have many nice attacking midfielders.

Joao Felix is a player who has good abilities in the game, but it seems that his luck is not good so he has to become a player on loan, after previously he was on loan and played for Chelsea. At Chelsea itself, he actually played well, it's just that as we know how Chelsea is this season, so no matter how well a player plays, it will be covered by a bad club condition.
But I also don't see that the Atletico Madrid coach doesn't want this player, because I think Atletico Madrid just wants this player to gain more experience at other clubs. That will help him develop even more, and when he finds his best form Atlético will take him back. That's what I thought.

Something isn't right, why aren't coaches interested in Joao felix, it says bad about him. He probably isn't doing something right because he should have been in many clubs radar immediately it was made know that Mauricio Pochettino wasn't going to include him in his plans. Joao felix didn't have a good career at Chelsea as you all are saying. He was only looking outstanding because majority where very bad and it was affecting the whole team. The only player that stood out for me this season was Enzo Fernández and he was my player of the season although the award went to Thiago Silva since Enzo Fernandez came in the second half of the season and the poor form of the club didn't give him much to work with.

Joao felix should leave premier league and not accept Newcastle united offer, they mightn't make it out of the group stage in the champions league if that's the reason he'll consider the club and there's no guarantee they'll be as good as they were in the season that just ended. One reason the smaller clubs were looking so fabulous this season was because the top clubs were all having a bad season. From Liverpool to Chelsea and Tottenham all had a bad season and Manchester united as well (although we can't totally call their dead bad) since they qualified for top 4 and won a title while reaching other finals.

Everton has a very good squad already, so I was expecting them to perform very well this season, but the season went poorly for them. I think they will improve in the next season since I believe they have realized their mistakes, but I was surprised to see their performance decline this season. However, I knew from the beginning that the season would be difficult for them. I think Everton needs more new smart players and a manager because they already have a very good squad.

Does anybody know whether there are still allegations against Manchester City for violating financial fair play rules? This could be important for those other clubs like Newcastle, too. When they want to make their investment decisions, they should know what to expect from the relevant authorities in this matter. But whether Manchester City, which is now the flagship of the Premier League, gets really penalized is unlikely.

But for the future they should slowly but surely come up with rules that everybody has to either stick to or not and it should be the same across leagues. When they apply sanctions in Italy but they don't in other leagues, the whole FFP chaos will never lead to more fairness, but only to more tricks being applied to find loopholes in the system. Newcastle could be the next one to be under constant investigation.

I am not sure but I think the allegations probably have been dropped because at the beginning stage of the season their were news going round that Manchester City will suffer points deduction and evwn expulsion from the EPL if they were found guilty but no punishment of that sort has been passed which makes me believe the charges have been dropped.

Rumors of Joao Felix seem to be growing, Atletico Madrid are reported to be lending Joao Felix to Newcastle United because they need players to face several competitions next season including the Champions League. However, Newcastle coach Eddie Howe said his club would not be offering big salaries to players that would make it difficult for them to sign the best players.
Meanwhile, the highest salary at Newcastle United is currently held by Kieran Trippier, Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimaraes, who each pocket 6.5 million pounds per season and that will be the maximum salary that Joao Felix will get if he is positively loaned out by Atletico. Madrid.

If the rumours are true then I expect this move to be a turning point for Joao Felix because Newcastle are a good team with a vision and trying to grow and be better, at Newcastle I get a feeling that Joao Felix will blend in so well with the talents and young , creating that atmosphere for him to improve even more.

New castle did very well in this season's premier league though, even through they did fail to meet my expectations which is them ending the season in the third place after taking it from Manchester united, but this is not enough reason to undermine their efforts or under-estimate their power, Manchester united later reclaimed the third position from Newcastle, but then, ending in the top four isn't that bad I guess, so indeed, they did well, and I am expecting a great game from them come next season.

To be fair you have put some fair tough bar for them to pass, being fourth is good enough and they have done a great job at it as well. To think that Liverpool will not be at UCL next season and instead Newcastle will be is a great achievement.

Let's remember that this team was at relegation zone halfway last year, and within 1.5 years (even though they have been bought by the richest person ever) they become a team that will go for UCL instead. That's a great improvement and I feel like they are going to do even better next season as well. They are the only team that can realistically rival City in the future, they can spend 100+ million per year every year, and that means if they can get a good manager as well, they could build a team that will be fighting for a title soon.

This was certainly one of the best improvements that I have seen in recent times. New Castle United is obviously a great team right now and it is not very surprising to see that they are going to play in the Champions League competition. I know that they have a lot of money to spend right now, and the money is surely being used very well. With this much money used, I also agree that probably in a very short period of time they will actually be able to rival Manchester City properly which is currently not being done in my opinion. I am sure that we are not going to trust Arsenal from now on.

I don't think Newcastle can be superior to Manchester city next season but to be superior to Arsenal I agree.
Because of the performance of the players and coaches of these two clubs, for me Newcastle has done better than Arsenal and I believe Newcastle can replace Arsenal.

Newcastle had a great performance in the English Premier League in the just concluded season and rightfully deserves to finish in the top four position which automatically qualifiers them for UEFA Champions League football come next season.
However, I think it is to early to compare  them with other English club that's been consistently been in the top six for the past decade or more. Newcastle is doing fine now but until they replicate their performance this season in two or more seasons to come, I still consider them "Lucky" to achieve what they achieved this season

Of course they regretted it. A year ago, they were one of the two teams to dominate the league together with Manchester City, this year they fell far short of expectations. However, they will make it to the UEL by finishing the league in the top 5 places and will probably be one of the strongest teams with a chance to win the cup. If we do not count Arsenal's surprise elimination this year, they will be one of the teams that will go from the Premier League to the Europa League for Liverpool next year. I wonder how Nunez will play next year.

Liverpool in the previous year was the strongest team in the EPL and they closed the season at that time in 2nd place in the standings. However, this season Liverpool had to settle for closing the season in 5th place and failed to play in the Champions League next season. Indeed, Sadio Mane's departure has made Liverpool not too strong this season, the proof is that Kloop was unable to cover the gap left by Sadio Mane. For next season, Nunez is expected to display better performance compared to his performance this season. He must be able to turn Liverpool into a stronger one by successfully defeating his opponents next season.

Apart from Liverpool, we will probably see a little of the might of the Aston Villa and Brighton clubs this season. I think these two teams have done relatively well this season being able to put a lot of pressure on the big teams against them. I think Brighton can be stronger next season because they have a coach who is passionate about building a stronger squad.

Maybe, you may be right. Joao Felix has shown improvement with chelsea in this past six months than he has for Atletico Madrid this season. I really wish Simeone would consider bringing him back to his starting eleven next season and drop his valuation so he can easily make a switch away.

He might retire there no matter even if leicester play in the championship for years, he will remail loyal to the club, hats off for him.
