I think the surprise result of today games in the Premier League we can all agree to it to be this lost game of Manchester United.Of course Tottenham is a good level team and it cannot be considered a big surprise yet for me it is as it shows how weak the team of Manchester United it is when playing outside their home field and they are very fragile in defense.Tottenham played better than them and I don't think the fact that Kane is not with them anymore will be felt that much.When I see the result of Brentford in today game winning away from home I think that getting a draw for Tottenham in the first week was not that bad.

Pressure is set to increase for Manchester United's coach, Ten Hag, especially given the significant spending in the market and player selection. The initial matches against weaker opponents have not met expectations, leading me to believe that the coach could be one of the early casualties in terms of sackings this season.

Manchester City play very dominating and possessive football, so it is normal that they have all the possession in the first half of the match. Phil Foden is a notable player for Manchester City in the game in the absence of their usual creative player who plays the position and role he is currently playing in the game. He was able to create the assist that led to the goal, and he has also created a few opportunities too for Erling haaland to score too, but no goals yet for him. Newcastle needs to come out and be bolder in how they play, they have the ability to hurt this Manchester City team if they try.

I haven't seen Newcastle create good chances to score, while Manchester City have had a few. Fiden really had an unusual performance in this match, of course because he seemed to be in his best form. Foden really put in a big effort this game and he did his best to give Haaland an assist, but Haaland has seemed to be out of luck so far.

The temporary score is 1-0 for Manchester City respectively, but I'm sure there will still be goals scored during the remaining minutes. Haaland is still struggling to score even though he has a few attempts, he's really frustrated at the moment. Winning 1-0 doesn't make Manchester City safe, of course because Newcastle are still quite dangerous when building attacks even though the game is almost over.

I'm really disappointed about Manchester United's loss to Tottenham, it wasn't what I expected for that game. Manchester United were actually able to create some threats to the Tottenham defense when Rashford and Antony had chances, but both failed to score.

This is the first defeat for Manchester United in the Premier League and I hope Ten Hag can evaluate everything well for the next game. Tottenham were good at taking chances, but their second goal was luck because Lisandro Martinez failed to anticipate the ball properly. The next match is against Nottingham Forest, this should not be a very tough match compared to Tottenham.

So, if you see the game from Tottenham in this match, you will be able to judge the quite impressive game shown by Son et al. So from the start of the first half both teams played quite impressively where both teams traded attacks in the first half but unfortunately both teams failed to prevent goals early in the first half. And in the second half Tottenham, who played in front of their own supporters, tried to control the tempo of the game quite well and Tottenham had a golden opportunity which was finished well by Sarr who made Tottenham lead 1-0, until at the end of the second half minutes Tottenham closed the victory of this match by  Martinez own goal that put Tottenham 2-0 up.

So the big conclusion in this match is that Manchester United are still having trouble finishing because they had many golden opportunities but failed to execute to become goals.

I'm not surprised by the results in this match, Manchester United are just as lucky when they win. In fact playing against a team like Tottenham Hotspur they are helpless and like confusion in playing. If we see results like these going forward, I have no doubt that ETH will be sacked and replaced by a new manager.

Of course Ten haag will get sacked if he doesn’t improve, it has shown that he is not impacting anything on the boys. Team play is bad, Tactics is poor and most of his changes doesn’t have any impact on the game. overall performance was poor today especially from their midfield, the midfield was so loose you would even think no one was there. Bisouma and Sarr were outstanding today and they easily outplayed and outshined Mount and Casemeiro. Manchester United needs to understand Mount is not a player used to playing as Dm or Cm and he is a player that enjoys playing upfront to provide support for the attackers so they shouldn’t rely on Mount and find alternatives as soon as possible before the transfer window closes. Casemeiro is a box to box Dm and needs a pairing partner that will stay behind in the midfield whenever he joins attack, they need a holding midfielder so the midfield won’t be always vulnerable.

In general they still need some signings else it will be a long season for them, they barely won their first match and now lost against tottenham who know what happens next week, I think it will be the same result if they don’t work on their midfield, their tactics and playing style. They lack playing style and they need to define their mode of creating chances and build on that because they are terrible at creating chances.

Unlike Manchester United, Manchester City I think will win in their match against Newcastle United, BTW I have placed a bet on Manchester City to win, hopefully today will be my day.

Manchester City have a better chance of winning because they are at home so i have no doubt they can win the match though it will be a bit tough for them. Newcastle have proven themselves multiple times to be a strong opponent and they locking horns with bigger teams now that’s why Manchester City needs to be cautious playing against them else they may end up drawing the match and there is no room for error tonight else they may drop points.

Don’t worry today will be yours but next time I advise you avoid these kinda matches sometimes they are difficult to predict.

Saturday EPL Review
Its a weekend of cards in the Premier League this weekend hahahaha.

Fulham 0 - 3 Brentford

It was a quiet match from both teams; until Fulham howler gifted Brentford the lead. Then a red card + an early penalky kick gifted Brentford a deserved 3 points away in London.

Liverpool 3-1 Bournemouth

It was a bad start for Liverpool who went down early due to a Trent mistake in midfield which gifted Bournemouth an early goal; Liverpool bounced back, got an early equalizer; a fradulenet penalty kick which salah scored the rebound and then a Jota rebound goal after going a man down.

Its an overall okay performance and Klopp has to do more with McAllister about to miss 3 games due to a straight red.

Wolves 1-4 Brighton

An impressive starts by both teams, but Brighton led first due to a Mitoma excellence; and Wolves failed to take their chances. At the start of the second half, Wolves conceded 2 back to back goals to take the game beyond them. At the end; it ended 4 goals to 1 and a red for Wolves.

Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Manchester United

It was a good and cagey first half from both teams; but spurs team edged it in the second half dominating and getting a deserved 3 points ahead of the red devils; in another match where Ten Hag got tactically exposed in both halfs; its been a ridiculous start to the new season for Ten Hag boys.

Manchester city 1-0 Newcastle United

With De Bruyne out injured with Bernando Silva; Manchester city creative outlet was definitely lacking and it showed tremendously as Haaland has another quiet game in Manchester; the boys proved why they are champions; grinding out a 1 nil victory against a resurgent and quality Newcastle United side.

Of course, this was a matter of final settlement as well as a matter of luck. Several Manchester United players such as Rashford and Antony had good chances to score, but both failed in the end. Andre Onana played well as a goalkeeper and he had some great saves with his hands. He is the goalkeeper expected to increase the chances of goals conceded lower for Manchester United this season, but this team needs to do better in their next game.

The  game actually shocked me how Manchester united flopped against Tottenham but actually Manchester united was at disadvantage since they lack attack and all there attempts to get osimen was all void, and just has you predicted the game ended 2:0 and am sure no one would have expected Manchester united to loose against Tottenham, the goal threat were much and it was now looking has if Manchester United are confused, I hope this performance won't continue with Manchester united so that they won't be worst than Chelsea last season, Manchester united need to improve i was not impressed at all. And manchester city vs Newcastle still ongoing.

i wasn't really surprised by the final result of Man Utd vs Tottenham because as the host, Tottenham played very lucky and also didn't just defend, Martinez' own goal in the 83rd minute really made the confidence of other Man Utd players down.

wow, this is a match that really surprised me, what exactly is the secret recipe from newcastle now, they were only able to concede 1 goal at home to man city, newcastle's defense is really good, i salute them, there is a big chance that newcastle can finish in the top 5 again this season.

Manchester United needs to try and improve in their performance and the coach needs to buy players that will fit into the midfield because when a team doesn't have a good midfielder,there will be much pressure on the defense,which we saw today. Last week match was a lucky and I don't know if the coach thinks that everyday will be a lucky day.

It will be a shame that Eric Ten Hag didn't use the holiday to look for a professional midfielder to take over the midfield because this was part of what affected them last season that drew them backward. Look at what happened,the second goal was a mistake that led to a goal. I just hope the Eric Ten Hag fix things and do it fast because this is the best time to start the winnings.

It’s still very early to conclude yet, but the only club for which I still think they can drag the league with Manchester City is Arsenal. I was thinking Manchester United would perform well this season, but from their performance in the two matches that they have played, I think Manchester United is going nowhere this season. Chelsea's performance was good against Liverpool, but I don’t still think they can compete with Manchester City. What Chelsea will be fighting for this season is for them to end the season in the top 5. So I also have confidence that Manchester City is going to win the Premier League again this season.

It is really surprising to see Tottenham being 2-0 ahead now. I mean I was pretty confident about Manchester United not to lose today. But something is wrong now. They showed some weaknesses against Wolves on the first week as well. It was just incapable of Wolves that they couldn't score.

Erik ten Hag had better work on this harder to get better. This is only the beginning of the season of course. But the earlier they fix their problems the better. Manchester United will be expected to finish the season in top 4 at least for sure.

If Manchester United should continue with this kind of poor performance they display today, I don't see them coming closer to the top 4 positions this season. Although this is the second week of the premier league, there is still much time for Ten Heg to fix Manchester United but at this time, they have shown some weakness which doesn't define them well.
A club that is focused on finishing top in the Premier League standings will start early in the season to secure the three points rather than waiting until later to begin reorganizing their squad. I just wish Ten Heg find means the fix Manchester United now that is early

I don't see what Manchester united is playing as they only had opportunities in the first twenty minutes wglhich Gnarcho wasn't able to pass the ball properly into their opponent box. Onana has been the saviour of the first half with his superb saves that he made.

Tottenham is pressuring the game and they are creating opportunities for themselves in order to net the post but they have being unlucky. The deadlock hasn't been broken yet from both sides and the match is still a goalless draw. I hope that Manchester united will be able to come back with full force in the second half to score at least one goal.

Man Utd are a very average team but they often win games without deserving it. Spurs have had a lot of chances and really should be winning. Hopefully they don’t regret all the missed chances because United have a lot of clinical players, if they get a good chance they will probably take it.

It has been a first half characterised with loads of much chances for Manchester United and even Tottenham Hotspur but yet goalless at the half time played. Fortunately for Tottenham Hotspur they have been able to convert their first chance as the second half just kicks off 50 minutes on the clock, and it's seems Spurs are increasing with the pressure as Onana has been absorbing few shots this second half.  I hope Spurs are able to hold the goal against a stalemate result at the end of 90mins.

Tottenham has broken the deadlock in the first two minutes of the game. The goal was scored by Sarr on the 47th minutes. I don't understand what is wrong with United in this game as they are taking the game for granted which is leading to them messing up with the game. They are giving Tottenham the strength to put pressure in their box. Presently,United are trying to equalise the goal but it is not easy for them because their opponent is also pressuring to score the second goal. Onana is really helping in the match as he keeps stopping Tottenham goal attempts. Manchester united is having problem with their midfield.

It is a bad weekend for United. Tottenham pulled the right strings on the game taken control of the midfield destabilizing United defense side for the second time with Lisandro Martinez ball hitting th back of the net giving Spurs their second goal. United were lucky to had escaped this fate from wolves but Spurs didn't let them have that luck today. It's time for United to beef up their midfield by signing the needed players to fill in the gap, and Pavard and amrabat have the skills in that position so it still baffles me why United are still wasting time to offer a better amount.

Relax man,, this is only the second week 2 it is still very possible that there will be changes from Erik Ten Hag for his team and he will not be fired in a short time.

Until now I personally still think that ETH isn't the ideal manager for Manchester United, I don't know if they can shine again like Liverpool under the direction of Jurgen Klopp

in their next match they will only face Nottingham Forest and they will also be playing at home, if ETH is unable to live up to people's expectations, then it's a sign that he will not be long at Old Trafford.

Currently Manchester City is leading the game with one goal scored by Julian Alvarez, as I said before, I have no doubts on Manchester City, they're more consistent than any team right now in Europe's major leagues.

Yeah they are really on a streak especially in the premier league. I expected a lot more from Newcastle but City still continues to dominate the league even without De Bruyne. I still think that Newcastle can make a surprise and get a point or maybe all three from this match

Regarding Kevin De Bruyne, this Belgian played confined that his hamstring surgery is successfully done.
He got injured against Burnley and he could play in that game only for 23 minutes.
Now he should wait to get recovered and we know in a normal situation a player after this surgery can't play for four months.

Yes there will be a lot of pressure on him to deliver because last season he was given the necessary of doubts and did a bit above some expectations but the start of This season hasn’t been good at all. Although I wouldn’t point out as though they play small teams but rather todays match is against a better team. Tottenham actually played well but it wasn’t beyond my expectations. This Manchester United team will definitely struggle against any team with this setup. The midfield was totally exposed because both mount and Bruno are 8 and can compliment Casemiro. Even though Ten Hag has spend a lot of money, they still need two of signings to Make this work.
But with all this pressure now, I don’t see Ten Hag under pressure of being sack. Such can only happen if United loses a long streak then maybe the Fans will call for his resignation.

We can’t say but definitely they are huge favorites to win it. Although I doubt them because no team has won it four times in a row and I don’t see City doing that. Once the league get heated we would see maybe they would catch up. But with De Bruyne out currently i think city will struggle to retain the title couple with the fact that they lost some players this summer without proper replacement is why I don’t fans them to the title

Man United's defeat to Tottenham must have really hit Ten Hag. This is a thing for a full evaluation for Ten Hag to improve his team's performance in the upcoming match against Nottm Forest. In this match, in fact, their game was not too bad. However, the accuracy of their forward players was really lacking. They had tried several times to attack Tottenham but were thwarted. by Tottenham players quite well. In fact, from the same number of shots on target between the two, Tottenham could execute it better, so they created 2 of their winning goals, without reply. Moreover, based on information, De Bruyne's injury was quite severe, so he should probably be absent until the end of the year. Not to mention later after being injured, we still don't know whether his performance will remain the same as before the injury. It may be different, and there is a risk of recurrence. Luckily, other players were able to make up for his absence, so that Man City could at least always optimize their chances of winning. I don't know how it will be when fighting big troublesome clubs later.

So, Erik Ten Hag hopes that Hojlund can quickly return to the main squad because his injury has hampered their performance in the final settlement. Rashford and Antony appearance was not satisfactory enough in this match because they had the opportunity to score but could not finish it perfectly.

So for Tottenham they have an impressive rally in this game but they also have a big gap up front because the departure of harry kane is definitely a gap for them to think about this season. But the 3 points in this match are quite meaningful for tottenham because previously they failed to secure the full points when facing Brentford.

I haven't heard about this but what I've read from some sources is that De Bruyne being out for 4 months is possible but I haven't heard if De Bruyne will be out until the end of the season.
But if it is true that his absence is longer then this will be a heavy blow to Manchester City even though there are still several players who can be maximised such as Foden and reportedly Manchester City are also looking for other alternatives, one of which is approaching Lucas Paqueta, but still this will provide a little gap. The hope now is that De Bruyne can recover in time and until then Manchester City must find the right alternative to replace De Bruyne in midfield and as the initiation of their attacks.
