We are yet to see how Chelsea fare in official competitions after their disappointing finish to last season. They played a few pre-season matches and their last result was a draw with Borussia Dortmund. and when it comes to pre-season matches, maybe the results will be different from the actual competition.
Yes this is a difficult match to predict, and true, home status is an advantage for Chelsea. Under Poche maybe they will be better or vice versa, let's see in the match.

It's a wise decision for Ange Postecoglou to make Son the replacement for the Captaincy role in Tottenham, he's the most preferred option for that role due to his devotion to the club for the past years and thank goodness the whole players accepted him to take up that position his age and experience in the team would make his job as a captain very easy for him to control some certain situations both òn and off the pitch, congratulations to Son on his new role.
 Now Harry Kane has left the team and they've got a new replacement for his captaincy role now they need a new replacement for the role of a striker and I don't think they can depend on Richarlison alone through out the season so they'll need new reinforcement for that position before the end of the season, the money realised from the sale of Harry Kane is enough to fetch two young prospects that would last them for a long time instead them wasting it on seaeching for an already made talent that might not likely succeed in the team.

Brentford's players on the other hand are attacking a lot. Mbeumo equalized in the 26th minute with a penalty goal. And just 10 minutes later Yoane Wissa's goal gave Brentford a 2-1 lead. It is becoming difficult for Tottenham to get back on track in this match. Because Brentford are performing well today. Although Tottenham's players had 67% of the ball possession, they managed to make only 1 on target shots. On the other hand, with only 33% ball possession, Brentford made 4 on target shots. Son Heung-min have been nine years since joined Tottenham Hotspur and absolutely right choose from head coach Ange Postecoglou, its first time for Asian players as Premier League captain teams and Son has consistent performance in every years. Son is surely one of the most consistent and quality players for the years in Tottenham, but now they are going to start their first season without Harry Kane after 13 years which is surely test case for them because he was leading scorer for them and have many impressive performances as well, but now things could be completely on different level, and they have to give their best without their legendary player so now can Son perform as he was doing this all in presence of the Harry Kane.

That's right, it looks like Newcastle this season have a better squad and the arrival of several other players who fill the vacant positions can immediately put themselves into the formation the coach wants. Even with the departure of Saint Maximin Newcastle remains a dangerous team and I think they will still be realistic to target the top 4 this season with what they have shown, but it is possible they will be closer to the EPL title competition.

But still everything must be able to develop and this victory is just the beginning for them to other positive results. We know their next opponent will be last season's reigning EPL champions, namely Manchester City and this will be a tough match for Newcastle to add points. I think they have to re-prepare a different strategy from opponents whose abilities are above them.
