I'm pretty sure Steve Bruce knew it was just a matter of time before the Newcastle owners do away with him, they are now a rich club and can afford any manager of their choice, and definitely they'll need a top manager to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve. Having said that, another thing that attracts good players is the manager of the team, for example, so many players have moved to clubs coached by Pep Guardiola cause they want to link up with him and be tutored by him. Newcastle would want a world class or at least a top manager that can help them get the players they'll start to aim for in the next transfer window, this is all part of the gradual overhaul that will take place at the club, very soon, it's going to be the turn of the players, many will leave on mutual consent, loaned, sold, etc, this it to make space for better players that can challenge for trophies

Brendon Rodgers already said that he is happy at Leicester and won't be accepting Newcastle job and as for L Favre, it could be a possibility. I am sure that they will be having more than 2 candidates for the manager role. They will be rejected a lot right now but I think they will have good luck with someone who was sacked a long time ago and has been without a team for a while.

Arsenal is the most favorite in this game, because is their home match. Aston villa can't easily beat Arsenal, so the match is likely to end draw. In my personal view Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still a good coach although indeed, there is still no trophy he has won so far but I don't think it will be a problem as long as Ole can still keep United part of the top teams in the table. Yes I just discussed this in another thread and you pretty much nailed it. Even if it is not for strategic capabilities as a coach, guys like Klopp, Ferguson, Guardiola, maybe Tuchel and now even someone like Nagelsmann have something very special that coaches like Solskjaer, Lampard or even Koeman in Barcelona lack. I don't know, I sometimes watch these coaches and it is just that they lack something. It doesn't even matter whether I know or not if they are indeed strategic masterminds. Their presence as coaches just doesn't connect with what I like about the other coaches I mentioned.

You are right, Man United has many great players. But these players seem not to play very solid, they need more time to play better as a team. Although a team has many top players, it doesn't guarantee to win. They need good teamwork and solidly to play in a match. Zidane is a very good coach you know, a very good coach that can manage the kind of players Manchester United have at the moment but it'll take longer periods maybe a season or two before he adapts to the premier league.
In my own opinion, I prefer Antonio Conte at the moment to Zidane why ?

Expensive sales transfers that don't show high quality are just a waste of money. Donny doesn't have all of that because maybe it should be replaced with a competent enough player to replace his position. However, Mufc needs to be filled with players who can push for more goals this season. Ronaldo up front is not enough. The midfield and back also need additions that can block the opponent's movement from the middle attack.
