My most concern now is if Chelsea will not slide into the relegation zone in the seasons ahead, because with the current happening around the club it looks like no significant attempts were made to revive the club and the club's performance in the last season was nothing to write home about. I don't understand what is happening with the club because not much has been heard from Chelsea in the current transfer market, other clubs are already signing big players and the premier league is about to start.

I think they know they are not a contender this season. They may aim at top four which is still very hard to finish for Chelsea. This season Manchester City is better, Arsenal is better, Liverpool is again a contender, there is also Tottenham and Manchester United so Chelsea may not see top places. They may save some money and be prepared for next season for the championship. It's impossible for them to win anything this year.

It is not possible for Chelsea to win trophies this season because their squad are not very strong like some of the club we have.  Arsenal have really in improved looking from their game in the preseason match , if time is not taking Arsenal may even take over the position of Liverpool in the next season. I'm not sure Liverpool will be strong like in the last season. The new season will be more competitive,  teams like arsenal will be tough to challenge Manchester city and Liverpool.

Now the new rumours say that Manchester City might be likely to give up on the Cucurella transfer until next season. They can go for Alex Grimaldo or Borna Sosa instead. I don't know why they are backing up from signing Cucurella now. They don't have any money related problem and Cucurella is a much better player than the other candidates. I would expect them to go for him until finishing the deal.

^^Liverpool are aware of their game against City in coming days and their Community Shield game is much more important than a friendly one so it was likely that Klopp will not roll out his best players and so he did. We will see Liverpool with all best players in their game against City in coming days and not like a performance they showed in their pre season game against RB Salzburg.

I don't think, Liverpool will perform well in this coming match because their players are not well organized as before which Manchester city will use that advantage to defeat them. Based on what people experienced from the friendly match between Manchester united VS Liverpool few days ago, showed that all those new players cannot demonstrate well like the players that left Liverpool in this season which will really cause Liverpool not to go far in this premier league season. If Manchester united can defeated Liverpool 4-1 in friendly match, showed that Manchester city will defeat Liverpool 3-0 in their next match because Manchester city players are well organized than Liverpool in this season.

Well, I will not be in a hurry to conclude that Liverpool will let go in the FA cup game because these two were bitter rivals last season and still are. Even if one would say they suffered a huge loss to Man United because it was a friendly so anything can go, I think Jurgen will not allow his side to suffer such loss.
 Agreed, the new players have not  found their feet so it's normal for there to be flops, but in tomorrow's game, I am certain there will be tight defense on Liverpool's end.

Furthermore I thought that Tottenham are better equipped to beat Liverpool for the second spot, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool ended on the 4th spot too.

Yes, I also think that Chelsea are not strong for the new season because they have lost players and have not looked for replacements quickly. But even though Chelsea will not be in the title race for next season, I still believe that at least Chelsea can still compete for the top rank at least in the top 6. Regarding Arsenal, they got a change for the better if we consider from this pre-season game but unfortunately, Arsenal are not alone as a team that has made improvements because there are other teams like Manchester United for example. So still, for two positions in 3 and 4 it will be a fierce competition for many teams because for 1 and 2 I believe Manchester City and Liverpool will still dominate.

You don't say just because Manchester United won Liverpool 4-1 in a friendly game means they are not good or are going to struggle, it has nothing to how there premier League season is going to be, or that Manchester city will win them 3-0, I don't think Liverpool Wil perform poorly, I know they lose a very good player in sadio mane but they still bring in good replacement,they brought a very good striker in Darwin Nines and also Cavarho from Fulham let's not forget they still got Luis Diaz in that left wing spot so I think they can cope well.

I don't think Liverpool will be very different later if you really know how Klopp has handled the team well in the last few seasons. Friendly matches cannot be used as an excuse as to why you should say they are not well organised, it is not a game they need to win because it is more likely to be a testing ground for their new players.

I'm sure Liverpool will stay well even without some of the players who have left them this summer. Klopp knows how to handle this team well and of course you will probably see a good performance from them.

Chelsea new owners have also budgeted sufficient funds for Tuchel to buy players in this summer window. However, as we can see, Chelsea target players prefer to join other clubs rather than accept their offers. Maybe losing Lukaku is not a big problem for Chelsea because last season Lukaku also did not make a big contribution to Chelsea. Maybe from my observation Arsenal will be better than Chelsea next season, I doubt Chelsea will be able to maintain 3rd place next season, I am more optimistic that Arsenal will be a surprise team to occupy fourth place next season. Arteta has built a strong enough foundation from season to season, we can see developments in terms of transfers that Arsenal did this summer.

Chelsea will continue their pre season tour today and their next opponent is Udinese and they will attempts to win the match after lose from Arsenal and actually Udinese isn't strong team even from their recent results Udinese also have to struggle to win but some people doubt Chelsea will win because they have any problem to attacking and their defensive is so weak and in this match hopefully Chelsea will improved their performance especially their new players Sterling and Koulibaly

Premier League is very competitive and not many difference between clubs in top 4 or top 6. In last 3 seasons, only Manchester City and Liverpool have been dominating and outperforming in Premier League. They belong to top 2. For other clubs, their positions from the third to the sixth can be changed a lot between two seasons. Sometimes, being in top 4 and beyond top 4 is just a very small difference and can be decided in a final day. Leicester City lost their fourth position in 2 continuous seasons and in last season, they were not able to compete for top 4 with a very strong comeback of Arsenal and Tottenham.

Maybe from my observation Arsenal will be better than Chelsea next season, I doubt Chelsea will be able to maintain 3rd place next season, I am more optimistic that Arsenal will be a surprise team to occupy fourth place next season. Arteta has built a strong enough foundation from season to season, we can see developments in terms of transfers that Arsenal did this summer.

I agree because Arsenal has a better stability in their club. No change in ownership, same boss, same coach and same tactics. They only have changes in their players and their squad that were done to improve their quality.

The English Premier League will finally be starting soon with another new season, I think out of the 3 newly promoted teams, Fulham and Nottingham Forest should stand more chances to survive relegation rather than AFC Bournemouth as both of these teams had spent quite a large amount of money in the transfer market to bolster their squads.

Everton are quite lucky to survive relegation last season, I think it will be interesting to see if Everton will continue to struggle in the relegation zone in this upcoming new season with Frank Lampard in charge right at the start of the season.

Totally agree, because the strategy built by Chelsea clearly still has shortcomings so I see there are many things Chelsea still need to improve at this point before it's too late because Chelsea need more good players for next season to be able to compete with their opponents who already much stronger than Chelsea now.

After a few weeks ago Laporte confirmed his refusal from Chelsea, it turned out that he also had to rest because of an injury. it will be quite difficult for Man City, but hopefully, Guardiola has a plan with another player to take his place. because the rest period for the tough defender is quite long. hopefully, there are no holes in the Man City defense early in the season.

Chelsea has been unlucky in this summer transfer window. It’s unfortunate that most of their targets had their dream clubs and that it’s something Chelsea couldn’t fight with. They bidder higher than all their competitors but the players had somewhere else to go and their clubs had to respect their choice. I think they should devise other means to bring in new players before the window closes. There are still quality players who would likely join them. A good strategy needs to be in place to attract these big names.
