Who else is available out there? It's tough attracting top or world class strikers when they're already out of the Champions League. They are behind City and Liverpool but I think their current squad is still good enough to challenge for a top four finish against Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea.

He was scoring in these kind of positions Dortmund. Nunez is a great player but his final shots are not clear. A player worths 100 million needs to get the job done. Mane was both a great player and a real team player. I wonder what Luis Diaz will give.

I don't see Haaland's arrival making Man City stronger, I think Man City has already lost because of the loss of Gabriel Jesus

haaland is an expensive player that City bought from dortmund hopefully when the competition starts, he shows a big contribution to city and scores a lot of goals

If I were in Newcastle's place I would still go for him because they really need to strengthen the squad to be successful this season. They have too much money so it isn't a big deal for them. It's very clear to me that Frenkie de Jong is not interested in joining Man United. It can be seen after Barcelona and Man United agreed on
a transfer fee for De Jong, but until now De Jong still wants to stay at Barcelona. I don't know if Erik ten Hag failed to convince De Jong to move,
or because Man United didn't play in the Champions League. Because we know the reason Ronaldo wanted to leave Man United was because

I was surprised too. but there is one reason that makes sense today. namely de jong is not interested in moving to Manchester united maybe because manchester united will not play in the champions league. but if later it turns out that he also refused an offer from chelsea then this speculation may be wrong. but i don't think de jong will refuse to go to chelsea because chelsea will play in the champions league.

Yes Frenkie de Jong wants him to stay with Barcelona, but if Barcelona make the decision to sell him then inevitably he will have to leave Barcelona. Regarding Manchester United, he is not interested for several reasons, firstly maybe he wants to play in the Champions League, secondly maybe he sees that the situation at Manchester United is currently unstable.

There is still a complicated situation about Roberto Firmino's possible departure from Liverpool. Because he has been linked with Juventus for some time but he seems willing to stay here now. If Klopp shares the same idea with him then Firmino might really stay. Juventus are looking for a striker and they would do their best to sign him. I think Newcastle have now submitted a second bid is in excess of £40million after a structured package of £35m was rejected last week which is still some way short of Leicester’s £60m asking price. But this shows how serious they are in bringing Maddison to St. James park. Eddie Howe is trying to improve the team’s creativity and Maddison can solve that creativity deficit. This fee might be the only thing that making this move not to happen because of how big Leicester value him. But if Leicester city don't sell him for that with 2 years left on his contract, they are doing crazy gamble. There's no way he's gonna renew and waste his career there, they should consider scouting good talents instead.

I assume De Jong wants to stay with Barcelona not only about unresolved salary arrears, but with the opportunity to pursue a career that is more wide open if he stays at Barcelona instead of moving to Man United. 
maybe the strong reason is that man united is not competing in the champions league and it is difficult to compete for the title in the premier league next season.

Haaland needs adaptation before finding his best performance we cannot take conclusions based on several matches
At least we have to wait until the middle of the season and see his contribution for Manchester City

It seems that chelsea didn't interested with de jong. Chelsea was not even talking about that. Tuchel was aiming for another player. I don't know why Newcastle is look more economical, they are the richest club but still looking for players with a low budget. The development of United's current team can be said to be extraordinary under Eric Ten Hag, so it makes me believe that they can compete at the top of the table this season and can at least finish in the top four, as we have seen before in several friendlies by relying on eleven players who are always playing, they seem to be playing very well even so far they are also able to adapt quickly under different game systems.
