Both Nunez and Haaland are two top players who aren't in any competition with each other, but just want to help their respective teams win every game possible, thus far this season Haaland has been the better of the pair, but i don't think this Carabao cup game is going to prove anything between them, either of them would surely want to score and help their team win tonight, but notwithstanding whatsoever is the result at the end of the night, it doesn't prove who's the best player between them. Having said that, prolly at the end of the season there could be a comparison of their respective stats to decide who was the better player for the season. But btw i think City are definitely going to win tonight, they love the Carabao cup, don't they.

It would be definitely difficult to beat any team in any cup for MU as long as they do not find a way to jell better together. They are rid of Ronaldo they wanted so much, so lets see if this works out, being in the club but not playing is not the same as not even being in the club anymore. They fired him with the intentions of being better without him and we will see if that works well for them.

I am aiming at fourth place for them, if they could ever do that then it would be awesome, if they don't then they won't get anything better than last year and what was the purpose of firing Ole if the yare going just end up not being in UCL back to back seasons.

Compared to recent performance from both of teams i think Everton has slightly better than Wolves but indeed don't mean Everton will easily beat Wolves and why the bookie provide lower odds for Everton than Wolves it because from total 3 wins which Everton got this season two of them is from home matches so this might be considering Everton slightly the favourite in this match than Wolves but to pick who will be the winner of this match is quite risky because possibly the match will ended with draw and i personally will avoid this match because for me the result will be unpredictable but my predictions is this match will ended with draw or might be other option such as both teams to scores

Man City face Liverpool in the League Cup tonight... Man City haven't beaten Liverpool five games in a row... Somehow it doesn't look like that's going to happen tonight either... Especially after a long club break it will be difficult for the teams to start playing... I'm guessing Liverpool won't lose tonight and both teams will score...

A match between these two teams is always difficult; look at their most recent Premier League match, where Liverpool was fortunate to have a last-minute goal from Mohammed Salah to secure them three points out of the match; I believe this time will be different; Manchester City will not allow such a thing to happen again, especially given that the Premier League title is not guaranteed for them this season; they will want to beat Liverpool so that they can plan for at least a trophy to take home even if they do not win Premier League title.

Honestly I don’t see Manchester city beating Liverpool. It has always been a difficult game between their two and in this particular game, irrespective of the Manchester city hosting Liverpool at Etihad stadium. In fact over the past 5 years, Klopp's side have proved to be the only side capable of hurting Manchester City on a semi-regular basis. So in this one I don’t know how it’s going to be but Guardiola will need his full squad for this run, and will hope for the players to rediscover their rhythm as quickly as possible.

I don't think so, because Everton still have a chance to win, moreover this will be a match that will be held at their headquarters. They have the advantage of being home, as they will get a lot of support from the fans. And also Wolves FC can't be said to be better than Everton now if you look at their position in the standings. Everton have a better defense than Wolves FC and also they are better at scoring goals.

Marcus rashford again. I just wanna know why ten haag didn't wanna to offer him long term contract with MU. It can be seen from the performance against burnley if rashford was playing very offensive and he was making 1 goal against burnley.
Burnley can do nothing as it has been losing in the ball possessions nor shots on target. MU definitely dominating the match and i thought that the result can be known even when the match has not yet begun.

It must be admitted that Manchester United have started to improve since Erik Ten Hag took over as coach. The players are starting to be able to return to their game, slowly I give them confidence to be able to do even better. This is a good first step for them before looking at matches in the Premier League, because with this result they will be more confident for the next match. The approach taken by Erik Ten Hag made the team even better in terms of gameplay.

I think Ten Hag needs to bring in a centre-forward to resolve this situation. Rashford and Garnacho might help, but they are not centre-forwards. Here we understand that Ten Hag really tested some of his playing strategies in a number of matches.

Even though Arsenal are currently not only Gabriel because young people in their squad like Odegaard and Martineli are also good, but still Gabriel's absence as a focus breaker for opposing players will be greatly lost after the holidays and this can be put to good use by Manchester City. As long as both teams are still performing well it will be difficult to catch up but if one of them loses consistency then this will be very dangerous.
