Didn't watch the match so can't judge whether Liverpool played badly judging from the score I don't think Liverpool played badly but yes quite disappointed to see the results of this match but hopefully it won't affect their next appearance in the League or in the Champions League because those two tournaments should be Liverpool's focus at this time

Manchester City 18 shots and Liverpool 7 shoots so Manchester City deserved to win even though it almost ended in a draw

Although city has been dominating the match but liverpool has a very good accuracy. It can be seen from two goals from 7 shots compared with three goals and 18 shots. The match is so equal between one to the each other.
City has become a winner. Liverpool has been trying so hard to force the match become draw. Im glad to see that if liverpool was doing everything to make the match become draw. A worthy match to be watched.

I didn't see that, the 7 shots that were taken were only 2 that were on target and both of them resulted in goals, but this doesn't mean the accuracy is good because they still have some shortcomings there. but the good thing is that they were able to withstand some strong attacks with formations and the slightly improved performance of Nunez and Salah in this match, hopefully this can be a good enough start for Liverpool to be able to prepare for their performance in the League later.

I think quite the opposite, Klopp looked more willing to try and exploit his players in this game and most likely this was intended to set up a scheme to be even better than before regardless of how they did in this game actually that was a very good thing for Liverpool I flavor.

Of all the finalists in this round, only Manchester United and Manchester City have a high chance of becoming champions. And in comparison, Manchester City has a bigger chance than Manchester United. this will be a competition between the Manchester duo for who is more deserving of becoming the champion later. Almost of the 2 opponents they faced looked like they would be easy to beat in this round.

The result from the match can be considered as a way to determine which better from both in the last match. i think that the possible thing for city to face MU in the final and that's gonna be a hyped match between both of manchester teams.
I would like to see that the manchester derby in carabao cup. That's gonna be epic match as united was also on fire with rashford has become the best replacement for ronaldo. I think this defeat can be a very meaningful lesson for Jurgen Klopp, for him to improve in the future. the course of the match, The Citizen completely dominated the game. in fact they had a lot of chances, based on existing statistics, City had 18 shots, 9 of which were on target and 6 shots off target.

let's compare with what Liverpool has, they only had 7 shots, 2 of which were on target and 4 shots off target. on the other hand, Liverpool experienced some progress even though they had to be beaten by Manchester City. Liverpool still looks weak in the midfield, especially Stefan Bajcetic and Harvey Elliott. and again, Jurgen Klopp cannot rely solely on Darwin Nunez, whose performance is not showing any better.

there is still time, at least Liverpool can still bring in some newcomers in the upcoming January transfer window. Like it or not, Klopp must bring his troops to finish in the top four of the Premier League. if not, I'm sure Klopp's career with The Red will be over.

I don't agree with your assumption, every competition they participate in should be important and also a priority. It's true that the EFL Cup isn't bigger than the Premier League and Champions League, but that doesn't mean these competitions aren't important to win. To be honest, I don't really like that kind of assumption when big team seem to lose to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Jurgen Klopp seems to be focusing on the Champions League Zone not focusing on the championship, because the point difference which is very far from the top of the standings has made that hope disappear, The Reds' golden age has indeed ended after Mane's departure to Bayern Münche, it is very clear that the difficulties of their attackers are  is no longer young like M. I didn't watch this match, but if you look at the statistical records in the match, it looks like Manchester City are playing better than Liverpool.
Regarding the trophies that will be won by Manchester City, they have the opportunity to get 3 trophies this season, especially in the EFL they are the biggest favorites to become champions, followed by Manchester United below them. This is one of their opportunities to get that achievement.

Newcastle's performances this season have surprised everyone. No one expected this team to finish third in the points table. And perhaps only one match they have lost this season. There is no star player in the team. However, their players are consistently performing well. The bonding between the players is very strong. This is why they have been able to maintain consistency.
Newcastle is aiming for a top-four finish. I think they will try to strengthen their squad in the winter transfer. As they now have a lot of money, and their performance is now much more stable compared to previous seasons. So they will probably try to add the now talented star players to the squad.

Every trophy is important for every club irrespective of the pedigree of the competition. They all field in players to participate and win them to boost the club Trophy cabinet. I watch the Liverpool game and they actually played well. But the Midfield is weak and has been all season. With no great defensive cover, the defense has been very naked and also in the attack, they’re lacking the cutting edge. Klopp really need to fix the team and avoid conceding unnecessary goals.

Maybe Leicester have started to make progress in the Premier League by their recent results. However their next match is going to be a quite tough one. The opponent is Newcastle and we have all witnessed how strong they have been no matter what their matches have been against similar level of teams or bigger teams. We have had a long break to the leagues of course and we never know how the teams in the league will be returning by the first matches. But I still hope to see a competitive match between Leicester and Newcastle.

If you look at Leicester's last five matches you can see that they conceded only one goal. It was against Manchester City and their only loss in the meantime. As they have made a big improvement in defense I think they have the strength to get at least one point against Newcastle and stop their winning streak at the same time.

I can say Ten Hag is doing a great job so far by putting the team together but looking at the big clubs that are coming for Rashford, Manchester United will be in big trouble when the January window when it opens. Of all the players who competed, my eyes were only on Kevin De Bruyne, he is a genius who knows when to cross for his teammates to score goals, his role is so important that he is always the first choice for Pep Guardiola. And the results Man City got were very decent and for Liverpool it looks like Jurgen Kloop will be a little dizzy with the performance of his team.
