Manchester City has the capacity and ability to defend the title in the 2023-2024 season. You don't need to doubt their quality and opportunities even though it is still possible for other teams to thwart them. Manchester City are still the favorites for the title next season, but I also think their dominance will very likely be broken if the other team actually takes every match to win.

I still have confidence that Manchester city are going to win the premier league next season, i know its going to be difficult for them, because every team are purchasing new players, they are trying to improve the performance of their team ahead of next season, no club should be underestimated next season, but i have the believe that its still Manchester city that's going to win the league.

Considering all the transfers we saw in the English teams and premier league, more than anything I'm waiting to see how Manchester City is going to start the next season because I think still Pep Guardiola and his players still got the best chance for the next season to win the premier league title.
However, Chelsea had some changes after they started working with their new coach but still, we can't make sure how they are going to perform in their new shape.
 

Manchester City is one of the teams that I am curious about for the next season. They are already quite successful and the team's staff was good. I want to see how they will succeed with new players. There is talk of an offer of 30 million euros for Riyad Mahrez, he can leave the team. There is still a lot of time for the season to start so many players will change

There won't be any changes at Manchester City. Despite the addition of a few new players, Manchester City's starting lineup will largely carry over from the previous campaign. Even though Riyad Mahrez is one of those players that excels in every game despite his age, he is unconcerned by it. I'm not sure if he accepted Al Expert's offer for less than $30 million.
I believe that Manchester City will reject an absurd offer from Al-Ahli as well. If Manchester City accepts the offer, it will infuriate all Manchester City supporters.
Since this lineup is already very powerful, I believe Riyad Mahrez should at least stay at Manchester City for a few more seasons. If this is changed, I fear turmoil in the lineup.

So far they have the best squad, of course, but sooner or later it will have to be changed, maybe one season, maybe two, but they will not last long, I think during the season the starting line-up will change, but not much, I think we can expect one or two new players, also we should not forget that there is a winter transfer window, after it something can change too

I wouldn't be surprised if Pep Guardiola actually managed to win 4 Premier League titles in 4 consecutive seasons, that is absolutely incredible quality and dominance for the most competitive league in the world.

Manchester City does have the ability to defend the title and I certainly do not doubt their many many good qualities. But you would also admit that there’s still a chance, no matter how slim for other clubs to stop them from their quest in retaining the title. Manchester City are likely still the favorites to win the title next season.

If Pep manages to win the title for the fourth time in a row, i guess it wouldn’t surprise a lot of people. I would like to see them try and win it. Although, I’m very much aware of their potentials and prowess on the field, it would be interesting to see how they would go about defending the title.

So you assume Mason Mount did not grow well under an incompetent coach (Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter). So I will look forward to his debut with Manchester United under coach Erik ten Hag.
But if he is still in the same situation as he was at Chelsea, then it is not Tuchel and Potter who are incompetent, but the players themselves who are not so talented.

I think what Mason Mount is going through is similar to what Marcus Rashford went through the other season at Old Trafford. Consecutive change in manager has affected his game play coupled with his poor form in the league. I believe Ten Hag is able to get the midfielder firing on all cylinders in the new season.

Remember; it is difficult to perform well; if the entire squad is struggling.

Mason Mount had a very good time in Chelsea.

He did for Chelsea, but his first pre-season game for his new club Manchester United was not promising. And just like the Mount, Havertz who also just joined Arsenal missed a very good chance to score today and his performance for Arsenal in the pre-season game but missed, his performance was terrible and not as good as we expect, he really needs to improve to expectation of the price he was bought for. Some very impressive talents in Arsenal team were Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly, The arsenal manager need to consider giving these boys more time and opportunity to play.

Man United will play Leeds United. It's not the EPL but it looks like they're going to play in Norway. The pre-season test match will be held at Osvlo, Ullevaal Stadium. The first game after losing the FA Cup Final against Man United.  Of course I can't wait for the debut of Ten Hag's new players. Reportedly Lisandro Martinez is also in the line-up. It means Martinez has recovered from injury.

Of course I think a lot of people are focused on Mount's debut. Last season he was very difficult at Chelsea. Mount is 24 years old and that's a very good age for a footballer. His arrival certainly has high hopes for Man United's central sector.

Although the winter transfer window isn't known for crucial transfers unless you are a Chelsea FC official and spent a fortune during that time window, but as we saw it didn't do anything good to the club. Manchester City is pretty much good to go as they got the Gundogan position more or less covered. I expect a bigger change to occur when De Bruyne's career comes to an end. That is not only a single position that needs to be filled, but it's also the whole Manchester City game that De Bruyne is directing and controlling. But that is going to be difficult. He is exceptional.

As long as Manchester shows good game play it means it works as a team and when a player like Mount can become used to the team game play so fast it is only better for Manchester United.These games of course does not show the true power and colors of the team as they have to play against a team of their level like Liverpool,Arsenal or Manchester City to see where they are in terms of performance.The good thing is that the Premier League is starting in just one month and it is great to see teams buying players and improving themselves compared to last season,so we can see an even more better Premier League action in this upcoming season.

I still can't say for sure that will happen, but Mount has had a difficult time with Chelsea and has been under an incompetent coach. Currently he has not shown the maximum performance we expect.

I too am eager to see what Manchester City has in store for us and how they’re going to go about defending the title. I don’t know about them having the best chance of winning the trophy but I do know they’ve got a very good chance. Considering all the preparation and transfers, I’m willing to bet it would be an exciting season and Manchester City would have to step up their game if they want to win and retain the title. They would face some serious competition, that’s for sure. Although Pep seems more than capable to handle what is gearing up to be a really competitive season, he should be mindful of other clubs.
Right now, we can only hope that Chelsea sees the light under the management of this new coach after having been through a very dark and long tunnel.

Manchester city will perform brilliantly this season as usual and I hope to see the best from them because they are still strong no matter the little changes in the players. Guadiola is the best coach and he has his targets this coming season.

If other clubs don't sit up and come up with a good winning strategy,Manchester city might win the league again because they are very determined and focus when it comes to EPL. I will look forward to see what Eric Hag has to offer us this season since he really tried last season to shape the club.

It is pre season match and Man United didn't play against a big team. So, we can understand if Ten Hag gave more opportunities for young players. Man United doesn't need to force their main squad to play. However, I was still surprised that Varane and Martinez became the starters. Leeds United didn't put their main squad, too. I think it is better to put Maguire and Lindelof as the starters. 

Regarding Mount, it was enough for him to play 45 minutes. Sure, he played quite well although he didn't contribute significantly for Man United. He needs more time to adapt with Man United tactics and the characteristics of all players.

It would have been a great start to Mason Mount in Manchester United if he was able to score in the first half. There were some chances in the game to score, but he could not. I take it that he has not yet settled and fit into Manchester United and the purpose of this pre season games is to help this kind of players that just joined the club. It is too early to say that he is not worth the price that Manchester United got him for.

I like the way Hannibal Mejbri plays, he has a good future ahead for him.

Once again, Mason Mount was played off his natural role right behind the number nine, Same thing for Sancho likewise, Erik Ten Hag played em both off them best positions. That aside, he did greatly he had two chances, one was offside and the other, he had a beautiful technique on the ball, but too much power made the ball go over the woodwork. He looks composed despite some errors, big qualities of a great player to stay calm in the midst of the storm. When he's on the pitch with other players like Bruno Fernandez, Casemiro, Rashford and others, they'll bond and blend immediately. Mason Mounts pressing yesterday was top notch.

The world can go ahead to say what they like, he's a big name he knows what to do, despite the fact I don't fancy him, Im dead sure he'll do a great job for Manchester United. He's a leader and knows what to do in big games.

The young lads did excellent, Diallo, Mainoo, Majbri and same to Alvaro Fernandez. I would love to see him excel under Erik Ten Hag. Beautiful to see energetic yougins pressing highly. Manchester United finally seal's the deal for Onana.

It is called friendly match because it is meant to be friendly between players and as such, aggressiveness and try so hard wouldn't matter to players, I don't think the friendly match mean something to rate the team or individual efforts and performance, it's just a regular match that if you observed, almost all the players were substituted so that many of them could have chance to display their presence in the match. Until the beginning of the season before we can something valuable about the players and their potential and that's how we are going to know if the amount are well spent on this young players.

I admire the moves and decisions Pochettino is taking at this early stages of his appointment to turn things around. He has successfully removed players who are not giving everything to improve the team and giving space for new recruitment to boost the strength of the team. I am not expecting Chelsea to start winning every game as soon as the league resumes but they will be much better than they were last season and gradually get back to winning ways again and competing against the top performing teams in the league.

To whom much is given, much is expected from him.  Pochettino has been given the opportunity to make the best out of the Chelsea team and he is taking the right direction to do so by letting go of all the old players that can't improve the Chelsea team any longer to bring in an entirely new set of players. Which is a good move.
I believe the new players signed into the Chelsea team, will perform better that will even make Chelsea contest for the top position because the whole new players are coming into the premier league this season with a zeal to conquer and project Chelsea to its former glory as the heart of England in football

Mount has shown a more impressive game in that match even though it was only a pre-season game but looks like he will quickly adapt to the playing style of Erik Ten Hag. For that, I think we will see the best performances in official matches when the EPL restarts. For now there are still a lot of improvements that must be completed by Erik Ten Hag because Manchester United's schedule for next season will be more packed than last season. For next season Manchester United will return to play in the Champions League. So Erik must really be able to put together a stronger squad before they really progress next season.

The recruitment of players has been very good which has been done by Erik Ten Hag in this transfer window. But most likely according to what I see he has to recruit a few more players to add strength to their front line next season. The failure to recruit Osimhen is a matter of cost and the price is high, so that is a shortcoming that must be supported by management so that the recruitment of players in this transfer window can be realized.

Guardiola already has one of the best team in the whole of Europe, and they have a huge advantage over other teams because his team is already organized and acquainted with each other. I believe Manchester City will still be at their best in the coming season despite every other top team making recruitment and strengthening their squad this summer.

Mason Mount had a very good time in Chelsea. He graduated to the senior team from the Academy under Frank Lampard and from then he has had a good time in Chelsea. He had his best Chelsea experience under Lampard and it extended to the time of Thomas Tuchel. He played his best football under the German tacticians and he won some of his current titles. He won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Premier League, and FIFA world club with Chelsea.

Mount had his bad time just last season under Graham Potter. His last season was also marred by injuries which made him fall out of favor with the coach. The second coming of his benefactor Lampard didn't yield much result because he has already started having contract issues with the club. For me, I believe that he had a successful time in Chelsea. It is also too early to start judging the performance of Mount. He is still young and can perform for his new club.

Mason Mount’s time at Chelsea can be rated a very successful one because rising from the academy he has always shown devotion and determination. He won major trophies with the club including the Champions league trophy and Premier League title. Chelsea supporters will agree with me that they gave lost a good player to their rival, Manchester United, they can only hope he doesn’t return to be backfire them for it.

I must say that I'm with you on this and that Mauricio Pochettino is currently doing what I wanted for the club. I've always indicated that Chelsea needed some kind of purging and distortion of players and their psychology so that it could kickstart again with a good alteration that would deliver positively. This is important as the woes of the club are not about the lack of good players but their inability to deliver which amounts to wasting of money.

Spending £539m last season without seeing anything to show for it is appalling, even the coach must be serious this time to prove worthy of the money earned. I believe the club will perform better next season, they might finish in the top 5 spot against the shameful 12th place of the last season.
