Honestly I was expecting Manchester City to win this Community Shield title one way or another. I waited for a good competition at the beginning of the season of course. Not to downplay how good Eddie Howe is/was but to be fair after they were sold to the Saudi family, I feel like it wasn't really that shocking that they would become better. They have spent, over 70 million just for this seasons transfers so far and they may do more, over 170 million last season to get this result, and another 130 million the year before that to get out of relegation zone as well.

So when you think about it, they have spent 300 million to get the results they have gotten so far and I bet that they are going to spend another 100+ million by the looks of things as well this year. When you spend that much money, that usually returns a good result. Of course you could also be like Chelsea, so Eddie did alright.

Yeah, as 300 Million is enough for having good spot in Premier League and without these unlimited sources this was not possible even Eddie Howe is one of the best in this business, but money is also doing his tricks as well for the well end of the Newcastle United in last season now they are going to have few other plans like staying in Champions League and also having another season even this is tough job, but they can do this all after spending huge amount like these spend in last season.

As now things going most chances they will fight again for the top four instead of Champions League better spot because this is much better option and surely strengthening their squad is also important with who is coming next it's also interesting with few rumors are working around but nothing is official until now.

Chelsea-Liverpool match will give us a great viewing pleasure. The match between Arsenal and Manchester City was very good. At the start of the season, Arsenal's trophy win was a great morale booster for them. It was a sad match for Manchester City as they lost the trophy in the match that went to the penalty shootout with a goal conceded in extra time. Thus, the first fire of a great competition in the league was thrown.

Community Shield is not a big title but it usually happens between two big clubs so it has important meanings, more than a title.

Big clubs will have a big test before a new season in Premier League so they will see ther weaknesses from the match and can use last few weeks before September to fix their weaknesses as most as possible.

Winning Community Shield will give winners confidence and booster for a new season but with losers, it is not completely bad. As said, they will learn hard lessons from a big test and can fix weaknesses and improve themselves. They won't have such in friendly matches during pre-season tournaments.

Given that both of these clubs have established themselves as among the best in the Premier League, and given my belief that the league will soon restart, I truly like watching the match between Arsenal and Manchester City. When Manchester City scored the opening goal, I think they will still defeat Arsenal and win the championship, just like they did with Arsenal the previous season. However, after Arsenal scores again and we take a deeper look at the situation, I think arsenal will win the match. Even though I'm not a fan of Arsenal, I genuinely admire the team's effort in beating Manchester City.

The fact that Manchester City is a very good and strong team with experienced players makes it difficult to defeat them, and this demonstrates that Arsenal is prepared to perform well this season. Manchester City has lost some of its best players, including Raheem Sterling and Gundogan, but the team's performance has improved, demonstrating that Manchester City is a team with many star players and one that teaches players to never give up even when the other players have left. To be honest, before the game I also thought Manchester City were close to winning, but Arsenal were tactically better than Manchester City in this game. They played a very good game against Manchester City. Arteta did well against his former coach Pep. However, I think Arsenal still need a good striker. Especially, they need a quality striker who can play in the number 9 position. On the other hand, we saw in this game that Manchester City are not ready yet. Last season they didn't start the league well, but they performed well afterwards. This season they could be in the same situation again.

I know this scenario very well. Manchester City would have some struggles at the first times of the season maybe. But after some weeks they would slowly start to dominate the league. It is all about getting fully ready for a new season. When they have full chemistry again it is just very difficult to stop Manchester City most of the time with this squad.

I love the fighting spirit that Arsenal put in and didn't give up the match until Trossad had an opportunity to equalise the game. It was an unbelievable goal for Man City and Pep,for they were waiting for the last whistle so that they can celebrate their victory. You can't use the lack of experience excuse on Onana either since he got enough already for professional footballers's standard so his mistakes is mostly due to his poor decision making and overall skills as a goalkeeper.

The new goalkeeper, Andre Onana been criticized by fans for his poor performance in friendly games. The Cameroonian have good footings on the ball and always outside his box, so conceding far away shots would be achievable by his opponents. United former goalkeeper, David de Gea had his own blunders, but he still made good performance at Old Trafford. It is not very suitable to compare goalkeepers from different leagues as you have said. Seria A and PL have huge differences between them. De Gea is the best active goalkeeper in the world in my opinion. His only problem is that he made a wrong career planning, he wasted 12 years of his career with manu, at that time bayern, real, barca, juve could have bought him, then he would have more trophies in his CV and he would have made a name for himself. Since ferguson left, manu could not establish a proper system or a proper 11, the goalkeeper was wasted for years in that inadequate squad. Think about it, even goalkeepers like carson, mendy, kepa have seen at least 1 CL and these names are below dave but he has never seen a championship, a final or even a semifinal. Right, I agree with what you said because for now they are still developing and I think for now it is still difficult to say they will challenge the title because of course we also have to be aware that the composition of their squad also still needs a few additional players to make that happen and for the next few seasons they will still continue to overhaul until they get the perfect composition and when that happens it is possible that in the next few seasons we will see a more luxurious squad that will change its status from an underdog to a favorite club of potential champions.

Yes I agree, they will need more time in australia and it is really going to be asking a lot from them if going to fall off anything special this season. They will also need more money to actually make a good squad. I think the main problem is they are not able to afford to do that right now.

Actually, it is also going to be a problem for them to sign in good players when they are fighting now to stay out of the relegation zone, right?  So there is no chance everything will change suddenly, of course, it is going to take time. Trossard's superb goal earns Arsenal a draw against Manchester City. Neither team managed to score against each other again after a draw against Manchester City.

The result of the match was later decided by penalties where Manchester City's players and goalkeeper proved themselves to be incompetent as Manchester City only managed to score one of the first four penalty shots against Manchester City which was a shame for Manchester City.

But I didn't expect that in the minute of added time a miracle had come for Arsenal through a goal scored by L. Trossard in the 90+11th minute which made the match go to a penalty shootout. Maybe you also feel the extraordinary tension during the penalty shootout. But yeah, I'm really disappointed because in the penalty shootout it turned out that the Manchester City players couldn't do it optimally. But I can say that in this fight it was absolutely incredible. Both teams I think have a level that is almost equal throughout the game. And to be honest, I was surprised that Arsenal in this match could match the level of Manchester City's game. Looks like the Premier League this season is really going to be amazing. Initially, 8 minutes were added, but due to a head clash between Walker and Partey, extra time was extended. By the way, starting this season in the Premier League, stoppage time will increase in order to combat time wasting, so I can assume that this is not the biggest stoppage time that we will see in the season.

Arsenal have probably improved their game this season compared to last season although the new season hasn't started yet but Arsenal had a great performance in the FA Community Shield final against Manchester City yesterday. We saw a lot of hard fought play until the last time but unfortunately Manchester City failed to protect their defense in the end. When the game was tied at 1-1 a result was decided by a penalty shot, even in the penalty shot I put Manchester City ahead but when the penalty shot started I was surprised to see Manchester City's penalty shot as a team that had recently won the Champions League trophy. Penalty shots can never be that bad. However, despite not being able to enjoy the penalty, I enjoyed the whole game very much.

Well, in the pre-season match against Manchester United, I also felt that Arsenal did not play optimally. At several points they seemed to be confused in the attack line in completing the attack. But in the pre-season game after that Arsenal played Barcelona and then from there I saw that some of the points that had been a problem in the previous match had been successfully fixed by Arsenal's players. Or in other words Mikel Arteta has succeeded in formulating a better strategy against Barcelona. Then Arsenal played Monaco in the Emirates Cup and won on penalties. And in terms of performance in that match, Arsenal performed well. It's just that Monaco's defense is really tight in that match. And then the game against Manchester City I started to be impressed with Arsenal. Because well, in this match at least Mikel Arteta's troops can really keep up with Manchester City's level of play. I can't say Arsenal were better this game in 90 minutes played. But I look more at the level of play Arsenal have been on par with Manchester City in this match. And that's incredible progress for Arsenal.
