The match was very interesting  though at first I never new Chelsea will won the match considering how inform Brighton is but that's the game of football you hardly predict what the outcome will be, I can see that Chelsea team is slowly coming back let's see how there next will look like

Chelsea finally won against someone and against Brighton that is better and better each season. Maybe with this win Chelsea will wake up finally in the premier league and start making good results. Was expecting that Brighton wins against Chelsea but it looks like Brighton is only good in the premier league.

Chelsea won against big teams like Brighton. Chelsea secured a narrow 1-0 win. Even though Chelsea won this match, I don't think their performance improved much. Chelsea's performance is still quite weak. Even in this match, Chelsea could not dominate the match. However, a win against Brighton will probably boost the confidence of the Chelsea players. If the players are confident then maybe we will see better performances from Chelsea players in the coming matches. However, the bond between Chelsea players is not strong. This is the reason why despite having a lot of talented players in the team, their performance is poor. It will be challenging for Chelsea to get full points in the away match against Fulham.

Won, but they didn't show much change in terms of play, I agree with that. But indeed this victory can boost their mentality to be able to play even better in the upcoming matches. But they also shouldn't forget that they still have a lot of work to do. They shouldn't over-celebrate this victory, because even in terms of the game they are not better than Brighton, or they play like before.
Now they must focus more on the Premier League, because there they need a change of game. And this victory can be used as motivation for them.

To expect the team to become stronger and more competitive, there are several conditions that the team must fulfill. I don't see that Manchester United has fulfilled everything, but this team can still develop much better and manage it gradually. Ten Hag must have a good plan to restore Manchester United's performance, but it is not an easy job considering that other teams also have similar plans. But I might agree that Manchester United is still better than Chelsea, but they are still equally bad compared to Liverpool and Arsenal especially this early in the season.

On the other hand, Man City is a club that is unbeaten in the EPL this season, but surprisingly Newcastle was able to beat Pep Guardiola squad in the Carabao Cup. Maybe this is because Pep is playing his second squad and saving key players, for the next matches in the EPL and UCL.

Chelsea have Fulham this weekend in EPL, I hoped they will be able to force their breakthrough by to winning games just as Liverpool and Arsenal.

Fulham and Chelsea are basically not much different, it's just that Fulham won 1 more win than Chelsea in their last 6 matches. What differentiates the two teams is only their big names, but Fulham cannot be underestimated against a team like Chelsea. Fulham and Chelsea have both scored 5 goals in their last 6 matches, meaning that in general the quality of the striker is the same in terms of scoring goals. But Fulham is certainly not the favorite in their home match.

Chelsea have a high probability of winning their third away game even though they have failed in their previous two away games against West Ham and Bournemouth. This week Chelsea are favorites following their win against Brighton, but Fulham, who drew in the previous match, will also try to secure points at home. The match is expected to be exciting regardless of the final result, but I have faith in Chelsea in this match.

Chelsea are just not stable now and it's bad that they've got only one win since the beginning of this season and coming from a club that spent over £1bn trying to bring in fresh players, I expected more from them. Another reason I feel they are unstable is the fact there's to me no old player that can help with experience, just as Real Madrid is. See, I understand what Todd Boehly is trying to do when he signed many young players into the team but selling off most of the experienced ones didn't help at all. Watch the way they play, you'd see there's no much coordination, I feel if there were more old hands, apart from Chilwell, Reece James, maybe those players would easily adapt. Right now what Pochettino needs is to shut out critics and focus on saving not just his team but his job as well. In yesterday's narrow win over Brighton in the Carabao, he was heard saying that the win had put them on a positive start to greatness. Quite a hasty assumption to me and their next game against Fulham will tell.
 

On the other hand, Man City is a club that is unbeaten in the EPL this season, but surprisingly Newcastle was able to beat Pep Guardiola squad in the Carabao Cup. Maybe this is because Pep is playing his second squad and saving key players, for the next matches in the EPL and UCL.

I feel we should cut Guardiola some slack. I mean one's going to get tired of winning too much at some time and if you watched the game, you will see he didn't make use of all his first eleven and even though they put much effort into the game, you could tell that he didn't attach much value to the tournament as he would a Premier League game or say champions league.

Chelsea was starting the match so badly. The blues was not owning the first half and brighton was always getting opportunities to attack the blues. It's so amazing to see chelsea got its win after the club suffered three two losses and 1 draw.
The thing that makes me feel amazing if chelsea was scoring through open play. The club was rarely doing it. Im saying to myself like when I was the last time chelsea scoring the game. Palmer is performing so brilliantly as well as maatsen.
I don't even know why poch was benched those two important players instead of put them all into the starting line up. Palmer was able making good team work with jackson and maatsen.

Pch shall give them all time to play in the main squad. Get rid of sterling out from the club. Connor gallagher was also useless player. All of blues fans are feeling so happy with this result.
Chelsea actually had a decent game management after jackson was scoring the first goal for chelsea. Im disappointed to see how referee was annulling the second goal was it's clearly not off side.

After getting a critical win against Brighton in the EFL Cup I assume most people will be wondering if there would be another win coming in the Premier League as well. Fulham are also having difficult days recently. Their defense is even worse as they conceded more goals than Chelsea while scoring the same amount.
Chelsea couldn't beat Fulham in their last two head-to-head games in the league. It would be nice to see this streak being broken by Chelsea here. Jackson scored a goal against Brighton so maybe this would make some boost in his self-confidence level to perform much better against Fulham too. I think Chelsea will win by one goal gap.

In fact, if Chelsea can play more comfortably and with more confidence then of course against Fullham it won't be a big problem. It's just that I still doubt whether Chelsea will be able to play their best performance when they face Fullham later. Because you also need to remember that this match will take place at Craven Cottage stadium. And as hosts, Fullham should be the one who will play with more confidence in this match. This season, Fullham has even won 2 times from a total of 6 matches. Meanwhile, Chelsea only has 1 win from a total of 6 matches. So it could be said that Fullham is slightly better. And currently Fullham is also ranked 11th. But Chelsea is currently ranked 14th. But I personally will still favor Chelsea in this match. Because I don't think Chelsea should be in a negative trend.   Chelsea have secured another win in the ÈFL Cup after conceding a defeat against Aston Villa in their last Premier league match, they coach would be very impressed with their performance cause they did well against a very tough side in the EPL and everyone expected Chelsea to lose the match based on their poor form in the Epl but they suprisenly won Brighton who's been very tough this season.

 I hope this win would build their confidence to do better in the EPL on Monday against Fulham who are 11th in the table and 3 points ahead of chelsea, Chelsea got a very expensive squad and should be doing better against teams like Fulham but they're not a club to rely on when betting cause they got a poor record in the EPL so far and could draw or lose against Fulham who would be playing with a home advantage.

Pochettino said that victory against Brighton would be a turning point for them to continue this positive trend. However, the problem is that if you look at the match statistics, you can see that Brighton dominated with more than 60% of ball possession. I'm not discussing United because I think everyone agrees at the moment Chelsea are worse than United. In fact I can say that United will at least be able to qualify for the UEFA cup but I don't see Chelsea being able to be in the top 7 this season.

It was just a match in the EFL Cup and of course, even though Chelsea managed to win in the match it does not guarantee that Chelsea can get good results in the Premier League too. 1 victory against Brighton should not be used as a benchmark that he is safe with his position because in the end of course there must be other proof especially the victory in the Premier League that still cannot get.
Chelsea still have to continue to strive to improve their performance and Brighton's victory although it was very good but if they are confident in their performance and think Chelsea has changed it is clearly a mistake.
There are still some obstacles that Chelsea must face, especially for improving their performance in the Premier League this season.

To win a match you don't have to dominate it, but you have to take advantage of every opportunity and create as many chances as possible. Chelsea took advantage of their opportunities well despite creating 4 good chances throughout the match. Actually, just 1 goal was enough to make them win the match, but there were still many shortcomings.

In the EFL Cup, Manchester City had to admit defeat to Newcastle 1-0. This was a completely unexpected thing for me, but it doesn't seem like Manchester City are really pushing for this competition from the way Pep Guardiola has set up his line-up. Now the EFL Cup only has 16 teams left, where Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal can still be favorites. One of these 4 teams is the favorite to win the title, unless Newcastle is able to beat Manchester United.
