This is the fact, even Chelsea since the beginning of the season has been having good ball possession and lots of chances to score But thank God they where able to get a clean sheet and a win.

Of course it's true, Chelsea have dominated possession in almost all the games they've played so far, except today in the win against Brighton. On average, Chelsea has 65% or 66% possession in their last 8 matches, but Pochettino still failed to win many matches. I think this is one of the pluses for Pochettino that many people have overlooked, but it's useless because the result of the match is much more important than a high percentage of ball possession.

Chelsea coach Pochettino is looking to apply new match tactics. In every match we saw Chelsea looking to control the match with possession of the ball. But in the end they failed. Chelsea's attack is very weak. The team failed to control the match by only possessing the ball. Pochettino should definitely think of a different strategy. Chelsea did not succeed in this strategy. If Pochettino wants to keep this strategy intact then he will definitely need to bring changes to the squad. However, Chelsea's chances of winning against Fulham seem slim to me. I don't think coach Pochettino will be able to improve the situation of the team so quickly.

Looking at the kind of match fixtures that lie ahead for Chelsea to play, I wonder if they will ever survive these games ahead of them,
The current state of Chelsea is in a critical condition that needs a Messiah to save them, hence with the poor state of the club, and with Pochettino as head coach, if they don't get a significant amount of points from these games and coupled with the depression that will follow suit after losing these games, I think they will hardly escape relegation this season.

Chelsea recruits new players this season, young players with the potential to score goals for the club, but they are likely in an infancy phase of development and are not yet ready to produce the best possible outcomes. I'm not worried about the upcoming games, but I am concerned about the team's overall health. Mauricio Pochettino will lead Chelsea through this difficult period; their upcoming games will be challenging, no doubt. Chelsea have room for improvement. They may be in their worst shape right now, but I'm convinced the Blues will be able to return to winning games without difficulty.

Maybe this is the transition period, but it seems to me with such spending on transfers the result should be from each player, but so far nothing good is happening, because during this time the team has scored only 5 goals in the Premier League and is in 14th place, this is a terrible result

After watching their schedule things are looking not easy for them because these all teams are having much better performance and quality as well which are helping them for staying above in league table, and they are still looking for better results into Premier League even many are feeling comfortable after their first win in EFL Cup, but this is not enough for turning into better and safe zone if they want to have better end of this season then surely they need to work on better chemistry between players which is currently not available.

Pochettino is surely glades with this victory, but he needs to be calm because they are having significant challenges in coming weeks which can bring them down in all aspects of the game, so feeling calm and better for the future is important right now.

At least it has been an entertaining win for the fans who have pinned a lot of hope on Pochettino so far. Brighton is a good team to provide the best resistance against Chelsea, but Chelsea managed to overcome the challenge even though they could only score 1 goal.

I know this is an important win for Pochettino's squad, but they cannot be satisfied with just one win in 4 matches in two different competitions. Chelsea fans and management are hoping for more positive results rather than just 1 in 4 matches, so Pochettino clearly has work to think about ahead of the match against Fulham early next week.

You could say, the victory was an entertaining victory for the Blues fans, as you said. However, it is not the EFL Cup that is their target, Chelsea must be able to finish in the top four of the Premier League competition. thus, they can take part in the Champions League next season. However, the victory in the EFL Cup over Brighton could be a trigger to raise the motivation and mentality of the entire team to play their matches in the Premier League.

This week, they will play a match against Fulham. Pochettino must further improve the quality of his players' play, so that they are able to provide victory after victory to increase their ranking in the standings.

I was surprised that Chelsea FC won Brighton yesterday, well it's been a long time that Chelsea FC won a game and the Media has been very harsh on them and come to think of it Brighton has been very solid this season and has been very amazing in their previous competition.

Well many clubs would not take the league cup very seriously for exam Manchester city lost to Newcastle united and I don't think Pep was very hurt about the match, I would love to see Chelsea win in the English premier league.

What count is the goal you had that give you winning because that's what gives aggregate of points to increase your place in the table. You can be good in the pitch but trust me, people don't give a damn about that, all they want to see the team do is to win but unfortunately, they have failed to push Chelsea name to that place, I'm really skeptical on when they plan on changing the form of Chelsea. Todd Boehly has calm down and I think the team need to push harder else they are at the brim of losing this manager with suspension very soon or worse a sack letter.

Team effort together makes a win, I have seen that with Chelsea but their only challenge has been a goal but I wonder how they were so motivated to score goal with Brighton of all team that is tough in the Premier League, Brighton is sitting in the third place right now in the Premier League ranking while Chelsea sit at 14, the margin is very high, it's high time they push the same energy they use in the EFL to Premier League to reduce the heart break dose they give their fans every week.

Starting next month, their first two matches is not going to be a hard time for Chelsea unless they want to be unfortunate for life, Burnley and Fulham shouldn't be a problem. Winning that alone is enough to process them with 6 points and if they try and draw Arsenal and then win Brentford is going to be a remarkable come back to continue their journey to the top but if they miss this opportunity, then it will take another efforts of new manager to upgrade Chelsea players.

Chelsea had a great win against Brighton in today's EFL Cup match. This match in the EFL Cup was a great one for Chelsea. Chelsea have only won by one goal against Brighton. 
In the first half it was not clear which side could win but after 50 minutes in the second half Chelsea were much ahead of Brighton and that one goal in 50 minutes sealed the win for the team. 

It has to be a great match for Chelsea in the EFL Cup where Chelsea have regularly been the worst in the English Premier League. 
Chelsea's next opponent in the EFL Cup is Blackburn, where Chelsea have won against Brighton so it is expected that Chelsea will definitely be ahead in this match.

The beginning of a good step for Pochettino because it was previously difficult to win Chelsea to win and even though they faced a team that was far below their quality. EFL is not much more important than the Premier League and the focus of Pochettino should be large in the main diliga because they need points to boost their positions in the standings. But if seen the match takes place more dominated by Brighton and they can hold the ball above 61%. Luckily Jackson got the moment to break into Brighton's goal so that Chelsea could come out as the winner in the match.

The problem is how when they play in the Premier League because the opponents they face in the future are Fulham. The schedule of matches in the Premier League is far more important now because they have been far behind in the standings and if Pochettino again accepts defeat or draws it will be difficult for Chelsea to pursue the top five positions.

Victory over Brighton should be a good start for Chelsea's revival. Even though it was only in an EFL match, it really helped raise the team's morale to look forward to the next match. Chelsea really has to take advantage of other competitions besides the Premier League, because logically it might be very difficult for the Blues to compete again at the top of the standings. Therefore, Pochettino must be wise in seeing the opportunities that exist and he is required to be able to bring Chelsea to achieve success again.

I really think that Chelsea will have to perform better in the English Premier League. Otherwise the position of the coach is definitely going to be under a lot more pressure than it already is in. In the English Premier League,  they are still not in a very good position. And let’s remember that the win against Brighton was not  English Premier League match. And Premier League should be a big worry for them right now.

Chelsea will play against Fulham in the next match and right now even they are ahead of Chelsea on the points table.  I actually do not think it is going to be easy for Chelsea to win this match. Chelsea will actually have to work hard. I am also not going to be surprised if this ends up being a loss for Chelsea.

The match was very interesting  though at first I never new Chelsea will won the match considering how inform Brighton is but that's the game of football you hardly predict what the outcome will be, I can see that Chelsea team is slowly coming back let's see how there next will look like

Chelsea finally won against someone and against Brighton that is better and better each season. Maybe with this win Chelsea will wake up finally in the premier league and start making good results. Was expecting that Brighton wins against Chelsea but it looks like Brighton is only good in the premier league.

Chelsea fan would be very excited on their win against Brighton that win would ease the pressure on Pochettino and boost the confidence of the squad as they prepare to take on Fulham in an away match on Monday, I watched many previous Chelsea matches and it's quite unfortunate that they are very unlucky in most of those matches partly due to poor finishing by their attackers and wasteful in front of goal, though I still commend the team because majority of their first team players are very young players with a promising future if well managed in few seasons to come that team would be very formidable and a team to beat.

It is just unfortunate that this harsh and unfavorable fixtures have to hit Chelsea when  they are not at their prime. It would have been a good run if Chelsea was in form. It is just a two side coin, this is because if Chelsea was inform, they would have used their good form to win upto 80% of this fixture. Now they are not inform, it is possible they lose/draw upto 80% of the matches.

That victory made Chelsea and Pochettino breath deeply. I think if Chelsea lost it and got kicked from EFL Cup then it will be a yellow card for Pochettino and just another bad failure will send him out of the club.
Hopefully this victory could make the team more stable and trusting themselves. In the other hand I feel sorry for Brighton, they deserve to play in further stages but that's all for them.

I agree with you, An EFL Cup win without top 4 is a waste of performance and efforts; and it would mean the season didn't get desired results or target as the board would have mandated before the start of the season. Also Chelsea have gotten 2 back to back wins in the EFL, Which means they are lacking an edge in the Premier League.

Pochetino needs to make his team to find their feet in the premier league because their next 10 games are huge ties; they fumble half of those ties and Chelsea can be battling relegation by Christmas. Big performance needed

Chelsea is hard to predict, but with their poor performance now, their chances of winning at Fulham are very small, but personally I don't dare to bet on anything in this match, after experiencing many losing bets on Chelsea matches, this made me stop. from now on to bet on matches played by Chelsea, this is a very strange team in my opinion, they have quality players who were bought very expensively but suddenly the player turns into a useless football player.

Chelsea even without Jackson and the other players who are out like Chilwell and the other injured can still win the game against Fulham. Luckily Armando Broja who had some minutes played in the Carabao cup for Chelsea will most likely fill in the position of Jackson. Chelsea also have found a very good player for them who just showed how good he can be from the opportunity he had yesterday to start, I mean Cole Palmer. He created the assist to the goal and played very well. The Chelsea coach needs to find a way to make sure he starts.

I think you should not be sure about Chelsea winning the game against Fulham because they are not in the form and their team obviously is under pressure because they spent too much money and they didn't have good results in the team.
Also, Fulham lost the last game they had against Chelsea but now there is not a good atmosphere in this team and there is even a chance for them to lose.

If they don't improve their current performance,i don't think they'll able to face Liverpool, City, or Arsenal maybe they could play draw against Manchester United but one thing im sure is that they would not finish in the top 4 it would take a miracle fot Pouchettino to make it to the top 4, they could manage to finish top 10 but that's if they would improve their current EPL performance.

 A win against fullham would be very beneficial to the team because it would not only boost their confidence level but also give a good impression to the board that their hope for success in the future, we all know that theirs this motivation that comes to winning games, the more they win the better chances they have to perform well in their next matches, Chelsea really needs to do everything possible to win against Fulham.

But Aston Villa is also not bad at the beginning of the season, although they have a long distance far in the standings I personally predict that Aston Villa can win the match against Brighton at their meeting this time, considering the results of their head to head meetings so far, But this time Brighton might have the opportunity to change that history this week.
