Even if I try to understand what you mean when you are saying that they didn't do too badly defensively, I think when a team conceded four goals in a game it is never the time to praise their performance. It wasn't their defensive performance that saved them a point, it was their offensive effort that saved them a point.

No coach would ever be satisfied after conceding four goals and I am sure that the defensive players aren't either. Interestingly though they still have one of the better defense lines when you consider teams from the bottom half of the table. Since when Pep Guardiola arrived at Manchester City they have been increase in their performance in each season, they are always incredible in each season, all the three club you mentioned are really in their good form, Arsenal has also improve since last season upto now both in Premier league and in campion league which they are the one on top of the tables while Liverpool are not in champion league but in Europe and their they are performance incredible and Chelsea didn't start the season in a good form but they have started to bounce back.

As long Pep Guardiola is still the head coach of Manchester City, then I sure that Manchester City will have a good guarantee of getting a trophy in every season in the existing competition. Therefore, it is not surprising that so far Manchester City has always managed to maintain its good trend in every season. Even though sometimes Manchester City also fails to win in certain matches, but in fact Manchester City always manages to recover quickly. Manchester City has built a good team for long and have been consistent in the League for the last 10 seasons more than any other Premier League team, as a result of that, they are always listed on top of the favorite teams to win the League, but this season it will be a tough challenge for them just like last season where Arsenal challenged for the League until the final five matches.

Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Newcastle United have joined Arsenal to compete for the title with Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are the two teams that people think can make a difference this season. Their performance this session has really been brilliant and in the past two seasons they have had very similar brilliance in their performance and have most times been the favourite for the league title.

I think the strategy made by Pochettno in this match is really suitable for facing a strong squad like Man City which also uses an offensive strategy. At least this strategy has also been successful in beating Tottenham. And then held Man City to a draw. But this strategy is not very suitable when applied against clubs that do not use an offensive strategy. For example, against Brentford. In my opinion, there's only one club I'm pretty sure have secured the UCL competition which is Manchester City, I'm not pretty sure about the rest cause anything is possible and either Manchester United or Chelsea could still finish top four this season,one thing I like about the EPL is that every season is very tougher than the previous and the teams that qualified for the UCL might not be exactly the same four teams that would qualify for the next season's competition, and also I feel the top teams that makes the top four at the end of every season are the ones who deserves it more.

 Based on how tough this season's competition is I think Pep Guardiola might experience on of his toughest season in the EPL cause several mediocre teams are beginning to sit up and perform very better and making it tough for the top teams in the league,well Manchester City managed to perform well in three competitions and won all last season, let's see if they'll be able to replicate that this season.

More have been focused on all the big clubs in the Premier League, Man city are the Kings everyone knows that for sure,  Liverpool have won the league in the last three years they are a big side. Chelsea is the most decorated side in Europe from premier league we all know these. But no comments has been made about Aston Villa since the take over of Emery.  They have attacked the Premier League and conference league well they may be confirmed winners of the game when they will play facing Tottenham after the country matches.

They are back on track now and they are now 2nd on 27 points, the same points as Arsenal, but they are ahead on goal productivity.
