Man Utd proving to be a hard nut to crack. I expected it btw because more often than not Big teams will often lose to smaller teams but deliver world class performance against teams in the top 4. This is becoming a norm especially this season with Chelsea deliver big performances against City, Liverpool and Arsenal but lost at home to Brentford some weeks back.

Anyway, second half is underway. I have my fingers crossed for this half and hope Liverpool finds the net on more than one occasion + 3 points.

Believe me Manchester United has no other way to approach this game, they have to be defending and defensive, the tactics seems to be working but they have failed to utilized the chances the chances they had.
Liverpool though have been the better side in this game, they have also failed to score no much of chances created in between. Chelsea did well during these games you mentioned, I was perplexed against Manchester City, the young players won the  midfied from Manchester City. Th draw they had in that game was not a good one, they should have been the side to win eve if I wanted em.to lose.

Second half here and they still be pressuring Manchester United. For Manchester United to hold Liverpool down to this point they have done well. Hopefully they get a point out this game.

Arsenal gets very lucky as they are now a goal up on Brighton and HoverAlbion, this was always going to be a very difficult game and a big test for Arsenal, all I can say is that they really turned up and now the pressure has been shifted to Liverpool.
Manchester city threw away their chances to take three points away from yesterday's game against crystal palace and now their troubles continues as Arsenal looks to be having the three points today.

After Brighton gave Arsenal a frustrating first half, Arsenal managed to win the match by 2 goals in the second half with an outstanding performance that broke through Brighton's defense.
In every Premier League week match, Arsenal keeps showing that they are in much need to be the 2023/2024 Premier League champions. Although they have Liverpool and Manchester City as their biggest rival for the Premier League title.

Arsenal dominated the game in the first and second half but it wasn't easy for the to score until the second half Gabriel and Havertz managed to score the goal. The failure of Manchester City of not having a full point in their previous game was a big advantage for arsenal and if Liverpool ends up playing draw with Manchester United it will also be an advantage to Arsenal too.

It is so interesting to see Arsenal at the top of the league again,  this is a good opportunity for arsenal to try their best again to maintain the top position,  but Arsenal are always unpredictable if they can be able to maintain the position. Arsenal have a lot of work to do , their next game they will be playing against Liverpool,  this will determine if they can win the Premier League,  it is going to be a tough game for arsenal because Liverpool is very tough this season fighting to get the title.

The only fear I have for the Manchester United sides is their goal keeper, Onana. He has been consistently making mistakes that were never there before he was signed. Even in the ongoing match, he already committed a mistake that can lead to a goal.  Apart from this, Manchester United is playing so well. Nevertheless, draw is not a bad result for Manchester United.

Continue to entrust Onana as goalkeeper like there are no other options that Manchester United has. Erik ten Hag still has Bayindir which he bought this season.
Earlier, in the first 10 minutes of the first half, Onana almost made another mistake when anticipating a free kick from the left corner of the Manchester United defense.

Our game wasn't very good, but being able to make Liverpool's attack line difficult for 30 minutes was good enough to keep trying to attack.
Just imagine, for 30 minutes Liverpool was able to take 11 shots with ball possession of 66%.
If this match is a draw it will be very profitable for Arsenal.

Onana is not a quality goalkeeper to protect this team, I think his performance is very inadequate. This is one of the biggest reasons why Manchester has difficulty in European matches.
Altay Bayındır is a good goalkeeper, but like Onana, I have doubts about how successful he can be in this team. Still, if he was given a chance, it would be good to see him on the field a little, at least Manchester would have tried something different

I expected myself a humiliating defeat for Manchester United and Ten Hag to be sacked few hours later but it appears that things went of favour of Ten Hag since this result of 0 - 0 is good for the club. At the opposite, Klopp and Liverpool should not be happy with that since Arsenal jumped in front of them in the standings after their 2 goals victory against Brighton. Aston Villa also have the same number of points as Liverpool.
The situation is very complicated in the top of the standings and Liverpool should win next round vs gunners to claim back the first spot especially that they are playing in Anfield. Aston Villa meanwhile will be second by the end of the next round.

However, unfortunately the final result of the match ended in a goalless draw, Liverpool were unable to take advantage of many opportunities and indeed Manchester United's defense was also quite good and managed to maintain a draw until the end of the match.
And Gapko came on only to waste opportunities and there were lots of good opportunities for Liverpool but they couldn't take advantage of them well, and I saw in this match it was the opposite. Manchester has a good defense so it makes it difficult for Liverpool's attackers to score goals, and conversely Liverpool's defense is not good but Manchester United's attackers can't take advantage of it and Manchester United's attackers don't play well.

I don't know what's going on with City, but they are not their usual self this season, they are conceding too many goals, too slow in attack and they don't finish teams off. The gap between City and their fellow title contenders continues to get wider and even if we know City can go on long winning runs, it might not be the case this season, before Pep and his City side return from the World club cup, they might be many points off the top of the table. Pep has to fix this and very quickly as well if they are going to win their fourth EPL title in a row.

There are several factors why Man City is experiencing inconsistency or in other words difficulty in getting maximum points, most recently they drew against Crystal Palace. I think partly because of the injuries to Halaand, De Bruyne and Stones, without these three players Pep Guardiola will be a little confused when it comes to maintaining the team performance. Of course Pep will fix this problem as soon as possible, because losing any more points will result in reduced chances of retaining the EPL trophy at the end of the season.

It does seem confusing to understand why Man City is experiencing such a decline in performance as it is currently. I think Pep squad is experiencing a decrease in hunger for the championship trophy, because it has achieved a level of success that is so proud like last season, namely winning the treble winners. Pep must take care of his team so that they remain enthusiastic about getting points and chasing the EPL trophy for the fourth time in a row.

The competitive situation in the top four of the standings is getting hotter every week, the entry of Aston Villa to disrupt the competition from favorite teams such as Arsenal and Liverpool is increasingly making City position difficult. Moreover, if Tottenham and Newcastle return to consistency in the future, then City will have even more difficulties and will even fail to defend the EPL trophy this season if they don't make improvements.

We don't usually see such poor defensive gameplay in the Premier League. And so I was very disappointed with Manchester United's performance in today's match. The players of Manchester United did not make any attempt to score. Manchester United is not a weak team. Despite having a strong squad, Manchester United's performance has been poor. But I would have been happy if Liverpool had won. Because in today's match, we are only dominated by Liverpool. I saw 69% possession of the ball by Liverpool players. At the same time, Liverpool players made a total of 34 shots. Even then he could not score a single goal.

I can't imagine if this match ends in a draw because I watch how Liverpool play 34 shots and 8 on target Liverpool really controlled the match from all sides but unfortunately luck was not on their side. With this draw, Liverpool will drop to 2nd place while Arsenal took over the standings after beating Brighton a few hours ago, it's a shame that Liverpool wasted this opportunity. Matches in the Premier League are really difficult to predict when we think the match will end easily but the final result is not like expectations lol. I thought Liverpool would be at the top of the standings for a long time because previously Arsenal lost but in fact Liverpool only lasted less than 2 weeks this indicates that the competition in the Premier League is very competitive.


By the way, it's nice to see Aston Villa managed to win the match even though they conceded first and this win will strengthen Aston Villa's position in the top 4, we know they are not targeting the title, but getting a Champions League ticket is an extraordinary achievement, can they be there until the end of the season? I think it's possible moreover their competitors are still far from consistent. We still remember how Newcastle got Champions League ticket last season and yeah maybe Aston Villa is in the same position as long as they can continue to be consistent then it's not something impossible. Let's see how this league ends.

I said it on my previous comment here during the half time, that the match may likely end in a draw, and that was exactly what happened, And I quite agree with you though, based on Manchester united current performance in the Premier league this season, alot of people expected the match to be an easy win for Liverpool, since like I discussed on my previous comment, that Liverpool may be fighting to take the first position in the EPL standing, but unfortunately for them, they failed to break through Manchester united's defense, as we saw that Manchester united was majorly playing a defensive game, they probably knew that there was no way they were going to beat Liverpool, and instead of allowing themselves to be beaten by Liverpool, they dragged the match to a draw.

The out come of the match is very bad for Liverpool, but for the sake of Arsenal to remain at the top of the standing, I am very happy with the out of the match  .

Jurgen Klopp dissapointed and Erik Ten Hag prosper, his defensive strategy do actually works and they have the best defendlines that could label them to be infront against Liverpool. André Onana deserves his flowers, he made brilliant saves and gave hope for the Red Devils when everyone thought they could end up not having a relevant results. The match was entertaining, and there's presence of high pressures measured by both sides. The match, Liverpool vs Manchester united ended 0-0 with both sides giving everything to record good scores.

This was because Manchester united was able to bring put their best performance and didn't give Liverpool any chance of scoring them, and so far the game ended in a draw even upon what the referee did in the extra time of the game by giving Dalot a red card so that Liverpool can be able to score a goal with one man down for Manchester united. It was a good defensive game that united played even after missing some good opportunities that was suppose to be converted to a goal. Liverpool has dropped point and Arsenal has taken the lead again. It was a bad day for Liverpool in Anfield and Klopp was frustrated with the result.
