Ok, Squeeky Wheels...  today is your day.

8bitcoder, a good friend of the Unobtanium community, has compiled a 32-bit wallet for you.

http://unobtanium.uno/download/Unobtanium-0.10b-Win.zip
This will become the primary wallet download for Uno until further notice.

The 64bit wallet has been renamed and moved to http://unobtanium.uno/download/Unobtanium-0.10b-Win64.zip

I have tested the 32bit wallet and it works fine for me.  Based on our previous experience with 8bitcoder, his trusted position as the dev of Myriad coin and the green virus total results, I've already added it to Unobtanium.uno

Show 8bitcoder your appreciation for both 32 and 64 bit wallets by sending a tip to his Uno address, uZSab1bmd3Rbr3zYGHjP1GQ2sbqqjFvtNG

Let me know if you experience any problems.

+1 to Learminer's comments.

Thanks to those who have already stepped up to offer your talents to the Uno community the past month. Dispite the stumble, May was transformative for Uno in many powerful ways.  I invite anyone who has skills (marketing, technical, Linux, coding, development, etc) to get active and make good things happen for Uno.

EXCELLENT !!
This works perfectly ... Thank you for the work !

Thanks for the update.  I'll keep an eye out here for info.
Here are the major Uno miners that the rockchain has revealed. We don't know all of their names, but we can see the addresses they are mining to. There are at least 8 that are putting up some decent hash, and I am also discovering a few solo miners.  4 of the pools are unknown.

If any pools want to claim the addresses, let me know.  Being listed in the extraction chart is free publicity. Smiley If I have made any mistakes here, I'd be glad to correct them.

Hi crackfoo,

FWIW I have made my binaries available for debian (amd64, 64bit):

https://cryptap.us/uno/uno-wheezy.amd64.tar.gz
https://cryptap.us/uno/uno-jessie.amd64.tar.gz

!!!NOTE!!! These binaries are compiled with "--with-incompatible-bdb" so I'm using the version of Berkeley DB in Debian. If you care about being backwards compatible with version bdb v4.8 please backup your current wallet.dat and remove it from .unobtanium so that a new one can be created. Basically, use a new wallet.dat and move coins there to test with.

I use the wheezy version for all my services and have not observed any issues. But I don't mine so if you are still running into issues it could be something in the mining rpc, block submission code or a miss-configured system. I do have a current issue with Insight explorer not understanding confirmed transactions but I am more suspicious of the general bitcoin v10 code and how Insight is working with it (lots of flux at Bitpay on how Insight will move forward).

edit: changed links, clarified 64bit

Common guys, one or two more people send the 8bitcoder some love. Remember if it wasn't for him we would still sit here waiting for the wallets. Show some appreciation with a little tip so he'll be available next time again  Wink Thanks.

Remember: there is no premine. Uno needs to run on donations and voluntary work only. Tipping for developement is the price you pay for a fair coin, so send some love to the ones that  keep your investement healthy Wink

Look at the dates of the txs in the wallet. Those first 25 have been received not recently. So it was so far only 20 coins. That's a little small imo for that important job.
Who didn't donate so far: please send a little out for that wallet you are using right now. Thanks.

Hi Edgar,

I see many folks suggest ThinkPad laptops for linux, they seem to have wide support and adoption.

Here are a couple of links:

http://www.linux-laptop.net/
http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/

Ubuntu appears to be well supported for beginners. I started with Debian after the old redhat (free) and missed the Ubuntu boat, but probably would have taken that route had it been available back then. Of coarse once you get far you might end up with Debian if you value orgs over companies, but that's another topic.

I have been using Dell laptops for the most part. I think there is a XPS 13 that comes loaded with Ubuntu... Ah, here it is:

http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/xps-13-Linux/pd

(I don't work for Dell, my opinion only, yada-yada-yada...)

ugggh Sad

yah love coming soon, just after I down load 1 year and 31 weeks of the block chain.  oh joy!

(rebuild warning for MM wants to reindex)

I would like to establish a rebuild commitee.  Many of you have shown skills on wallet builds.  So we got that going for us, it be nice to arrange something more formal for anything in the future.

uhXrK4374zXjAQxW8TA6FRaVjXG1edcXc1 is me as well. Address keeps changing probably cause it keeps crashing and restarting so much...

some attention to this issue would be nice.

udSKtDSxwAtEcmbqQP71nLcX2x2horAAp4 is me as well.

And now uPSUVksFgz34HXGgSHGG9x82TnrFfMwdgR is me. hopfully won't change since switching to the different build
