@BitcoinNational - I've kept the name for namesake so people can identify my personality, but I no longer own or support RDD after the team collapsed and the dev quit. I've got a bunch of UNO, I've held UNO since the beginning. Now I'm a proud owner of over 1% of Pr. I'm stoked. Hodling forever!

It's the UNO testnet, so you either need to point your miners at it and mine it, or buy one of the chunks via donation from HagbardCeline.

First, welcome RDDRocket.
Okay. Does anyone have just one, to see if my wallet is functional? Does this address look correct?

@HagbardCeline - I'm interested in buying 250 of those Pr from you. Let me know how you'd like to do so. I've been a long time UNO supporter but never wanted to create a BCT account until I saw this. Thanks.
Been wondering who you are, spreading crap about me on the Cryptsy trollbox. You are wrong. I haven't sold a gram. Refrain from using my name in vain in the future.

This is good to hear, I always like it when yet another scam coin collapses. Also, thanks blazr for the new testnet! It just so happens I have another pogo begging for this, so I will try a build on it this weekend. In my quest to make things smaller, I have been removing the retardedness that is glibc in favor of musl, but hopefully the build process will be able to include the deterministic gcc of one's choosing. Keep up the good work mate!

Wallet won't sync: Not sure if I understand the concept of this coin: Does anyone have any addnodes? Does it use the same ports as UNO? If not what ports to put in the .conf file? I see it has auxpow enabled - can it be merge mined? I've pointed the wallet at it's own data directory - should I be using the UNO directory instead? Thanks in advance.

@p3yot33at3r
I didn't have any problem. Just checked loaded and sync'd (10hrs) in 10 sec ... Blazzar fast ;0
---- concept of this coin: TESTNET
I am assuming auxpow enabled - can be merge mined. "Just like Un cuz it is"
Just thinkin out loud here, but side chains (CP/NXT/MasterCoin kinda stuff) could be plugged into PRo? So the sidechain fans get that, and the purest 'don't clutter the UNO blockchain' camp get theirs too!
Cowabunga! if all that is true and such

Maybe you can share the settings you used in your .conf file for those who can't sync their wallet? Or: Does anyone have any addnodes? Does it use the same ports as UNO? If not what ports to put in the .conf file? I see it has auxpow enabled - can it be merge mined? I've pointed the wallet at it's own data directory - should I be using the UNO directory instead? Knowing what ports it used would be nice, so I can allow them through my firewall.......

I found it fairly coincidental you threatened to throw a huge order up, and suddenly 1300 some UNO dumped. If it wasn't you, I apologize. Anyway, bygones be bygones and whatnot. EDIT: Is it possible to now remove Bryce from the website being listed as the Lead Dev? Horus has stated he's trying to get UNO delisted on Cryptsy just because of Bryce being the dev, which he is not the dev or involved at all to the best of my knowledge.

It's the testnet chain. A sidechain to play with and do what you want. Mostly for fun at this point.

There is no point to proto, it is a nerd thing, which i am not part of, because i really don't care about it. In my mind the 'testnet' is just like a prototype of Uno, hence Proto in the name. So how does this add any value to Uno, it does not. It competes with Uno by being a clone of Uno, yet with no value. Now instead of people buying Uno they can split their funds between the two coins.
I try super hard to stay optimistic but this is nothing to anyone holding Uno hoping it doesn't lose value. For the nerds who wanna see what side chains are all about without risking their precious Uno, i guess it is a cool thing? Never a good thing to split brands. Like Uno for her and Uno for him now.
Really the only way Proto is tied to Uno is that it was the testnet or whatever. I don't get it. It shits all over my original Uno by being a clone of it.
Should i just sell my Uno now before the market cap is split in half between the two? I really really fail to see how this is a positive thing for Uno but am more than willing to keep an open mind if anyone thinks they can explain how Proto is a GOOD thing for Uno?

I'm afraid I agree. I'm not even clear how this is a "sidechain" - I thought the point of sidechains was a defined relationship between chains with the ability to transfer directly between the two chains in a managed fashion and unless I'm mistaken this isn't possible? Surely its is simply the Uno testnet with another client which brands the testnet coins differently?

Surely its is simply the Uno testnet with another client which brands the testnet coins differently? Oh come on now, have some levity. Yes, its simply a new client that uses the Un testnet chain as its main chain. You can send coins cross chains without issues. Its not designed to replace Un at all; its not shitting on your Un, it won't dethrone Un's position as a leading crypto-currency--its simply a new way to access the Testnet and enjoy mining again on a coin that's established. My post made this clear--or at least I thought it had. Its not really not designed to do anything of the sort you 'doom and gloom' type think--just a way to use an established blockchain from an established coin in a new way and side-by-side with the original client. I'm not targeting anything else so please, if you don't like it, ignore it--its not anything deeper. Like it or not, I think we're on the cusp of cryptocoin mass adoption and die off. The coins that will die off already are; the coins which will survive are those like Un that are merged and secure. As coins get more and more entrenched, why not mine some testnet sidechains of some of your favorites? Pr simply makes it easier for people to do so, and easier to build services and apps on as its got main-net features.

1. yes it is a 'Nerd' toy 2. yes (i hope) if sidechains become a thing then UNO has it's cake and can eat it too. [all clutter goes into the test.net & UN.net stays virgin pure rare crypto small blocks only] ... this is 2-3 years down the road stuff, but coded/released today. 3. gift horse, looks in the mouth and grumbles, WTF? 4. when test net LTC is trading top of the boards then you can bitch and moan about "oh great now PR competes with UN" ... until then see point#1 5. remember when we forked for MM, and things were kinda fubar, well test.nets are for not do it that way. ALL 'PRO' coins have test nets! 6. take a deep breath, relax, it is just test.net with a brand name slapped on it, cool one if you ask me.

Can you expand on the bit in bold? Do you mean you can send Pr coins to a Un client? and vice versa?
