I'll be interested in this only if I see  it on the Fontase twitter account, or if Wolong mentions it on /Gameofdeception.

More likely someone trying to start a rumor to move UNO up or down quickly (can't tell what they are trying to accomplish).  Doesn't change my strategy.

If someone wants to sell UNO really, really cheap, that's not a problem for me because I'm still buying.  Bring it on, Fontas.

Thanks for effort, i don't know why mine is still not working and i can't find the unobtanium folder in application support.

Surely no one could have hacked my computer, uno is not that popular yet?

Not trying to give uno a bad name but i did put a bit of money in this and its not cool whats happening right now.

Even if so I still love Uno and I want help make it grow even if I've lost this money.

But we will see maybe its retrievable.

Take a deep breath my dear friend and calm down Wallets have no effect on the coins you hold , and the new OSX wallet has not yet been posted here , I believe you are using the old wallet  , your coins are safe despite the issue you are having , what you can do for the moment to be on the safe side is follow below.

1. Go To ~/Library/Application Support/Unobtanium/

2. Copy the entire folder or files on it including the wallet.dat to a safe location (Backup) - wallet.dat is all that you need to keep your coins safe

( I adviced you to copy the entire folder because , if you do not want to download the entire blockchain which can take quite sometime if you are trying to open the wallet somewhere else.)


3. You are good now.

4. Also download the new OSX client posted on the OP which should version 0.9.4 and run it it should work good.

Oh I have no intention to sell, especially not based on stupid rumors. I'm just sometimes a bit sick of all the power-crazy pump and dumpers and market manipulators, that's all. UNO isn't even all that bad. Try being a Zetacoin holder on Twitter these days. Or any ColorCoin basically...

I discovered UNO before all this Wolong craze, I liked the rarity of UNO and decided to day trade it, even had some moderate success. Then Wolong hit the trenches and I admit I was excited about the price action. But I didn't buy high and I decided not to sell off my UNO even at .03-.04 (maybe stupid in hindsight as I could have 8x that UNO now, but the markets are unpredictable and I honestly didn't expect to see .004x prices again on UNO).

Once the dust had settled (price < .01) I decided it was time to increase my position and now at < .006 I am getting bit greedy. Its still a small stash, but I'm working on it and whenever I've got some profit from other trades I pick up some UNO and KARM (50/50). Two of the best long term coins there are IMO.

1) how exactly does he know it is wolongs wallet? From coinage? Excuse me? ... lol
2) Wolong can not have aquired 70% of uno - simply because there are not that many in the marketplace and at least 35% is in hands of miners still - also the price is waaay too low for that to be true - if he had 70% uno would be 0.3 btc minimum. Also on wolongs twitter he brags about how he has 8k uno - so that is far from 70%.  
3) 20k were not bought by single group lately

this pastebin could be set up by wolong to maximize success of early shakeouts around the 0.01btc-level before he drives it up way higher or this could just be total bs

but i somehow like the thought of whalefights in uno. I like volatility. People, buy now while it is low. Get prepared for some crazy action. Even without whales uno can only go up over time. It is close to a mathematical certainty that uno will gain in value. Low inflation coin. Show me another pow-coin with such a low inflation. Not easy to be found. Of course it is interesting for whales. Uno is digital gold.

3 btc buy in right now would send us 50% higher. You have probably only a few hours left to get your hands on some for these prices and i am pretty sure this time those prices are gone for good. tbh i am just waiting for someone to make the move and start the chainreaction.

I wish there was a way to filter out those spammy ~0.0001 BTC buy and sell oders @cryptsy, they make it really hard to estimate where the "real" barriers lie and limit usability of the orderbook. Of course that is exactly their purpose...

As long as that bot is active I feel comfortable that the price will move upwards when the person controlling it is done doing whatever they are doing.

TimeWarp Attack can be fixed and I believe I have a fix to that and can be implemented right away , however there will be hardfork where everyone will need to update their Clients at a certain block number to secure the network and the issue to resolved.

Are we good with this?

Guys, 9.4 mac wallet is not working for me on 10.9.2
Get immediately an error when starting it. Did not compile, just started the *.app

@prominerone: That quote is a marketing-statement from the website, right? I don't think UNO has any privacy/anonymity features that bitcoin hasn't. Maybe the team had plans, but after the failed UNO/PANDA Wolong pump thingy the devs abandoned ship. Soopy has just taken over and is luckily helping us fix flaws with the coin, but I don't expect he's working on any new features yet. Is increased anonymity really a feature that would make sense for UNO? Never really thought about it before.

So a Timewarp attack has taken place against UNO? I only know about it what a quick Google search revealed but it does sound bad. What do you propose Soopy? Is this something that KGW/DGW or Digishield could prevent (I heard Digishield is rated highly effective against difficulty manipulation)?

The network needs to be protected against this sort of manipulation. So if you think you have a solution please go ahead. I have pretty clearly argued against a change to PoS for Karma as I think it is and should remain a miner's coin. But with UNO rapidly nearing the end of its mining phase - and being more of an investment than a coin for daily use - a switch to PoS might actually make sense somewhere down the road. So far PoS seems to be more resilient to attacks than PoW. Just something to think about ...

1.- Yes ,but anybody with large UNO split the coins between many wallets !
2. -every time when loading uno to the wallet the big holders can use new loading address.
