I think this challenge wasn't tempting for beginner gamblers as $5 is too much, especially if the condition for getting the reward is to hit at least x20 in the Crash game. Honestly, I don't know the exact probability of getting x20 in that game, but I think many of us have experienced things when it takes 20 or more attempts to hit x20. So I would say that this challenge is for those users who have a couple thousand dollars in their bankroll, not $300-500.

I think it's fair to bet on Brazil because I did it even though their odds were low.

I really think Brazil will take it away easily since their performance is really good.
The odds are quite decent. But I am not able to find any timer until which we can place the bet.

On average Brazil should be able to beat Croatia in the majority of the games they dispute, but since everything will be decided in a single match then this game becomes more difficult to predict since Croatia is defensive minded team and can be a very uncomfortable opponent.
