We have indeed seen quite a lot of surprises already but every world cup, you get surprising results especially in the group stage. But I doubt that an underdog will be able to claim the title, but guess we will find out in the next couple of days and weeks.

Yeah, I’m always a victim of this upset match which causes me to break my parlay multiple times including my duelbits prediction pick for every round. First Argentina to Saudi then I include Saudi on my next parlay that gives me a 2-0 defeat by Poland. And now Japan lose to Costa Rica with 1-0 score while they beat Germany(much harder opponent) with 2-1 score. I’m starting to be traumatized on adding this upset winner team to my and just focus the basic sure win bet.

I almost close on reaching the top spot or to be included on top scorer of Duelbits contest if only I can manage to predict exactly this upset matches since it’s the only pick I always got zero points and the rest is either accurate or 2 pts.

Lol yeah indeed didn’t saw the win of Costa Rica coming! While, I root for the Netherlands (also for Belgium), I was not so impressed so much by them in their last match against Senegal. Brazil and France have made the most impression on me and I think one of these 2 countries will win it!

There are still quite a lot of matches left so there are still many opportunities to be achieved as long as all the favorite teams don't make mistakes that make the final result unexpected, although it's quite fun to see teams that are not taken into account to give resistance and even surprise with a victory.

This is the World Cup of upsets which is why I am expecting many more upsets in the near future. Lost many of my bets thanks to favorites losing or drawing left, right and centre which is annoying and entertaining at the same time.

They do have a great squad with a lot of talented players (Lukaku, De Bruyne, Hazard, Courtouis, ...) but they are getting older and I think this worldcup is their last chance really as some players will retire after this worldcup. I hope they will get through but they really need to up their game!

Lukaku only recovers from his injury recently and he is not at his best fitness for tough matches. De Bruyne has problems with his mentality in this World Cup and from his complain, it looks like he is not really ready for World Cup. Eden Hazard simply is no longer himself and how a player who does not have a position and regular slot to play in his club can be a captain of Belgium and has a default position in their squad. It's unacceptable and unreasonable choice from Roberto Martinez.

Courtouis is a world-class goalkeeper but he can not save all shots and can not score goals to bring Belgium to wins.

Yes, this is how I understood. I thought one who tops the leaderboard on that particular day will be the winner for the day. It looks like, every day matches falls under the respective round. Each round's top predictor will be the winner for that round.

Seeing that Harry Kane hasn't scored in the previous two games is actually quite strange considering he was top scorer in the previous world cup, maybe this time he will score although I see other England strikers more likely to do so. USA is predicted to win but Iran is not a trivial opponent for them and they have to be aware of all possibilities including quite a long injury time in this World Cup.

It seems like I nailed this. Both USA and England are looking to close their game with an extra 3 points. England is most likely safe after getting 3 goals but USA could probably hold for another 10 minutes though. Glad that I decided to skip Harry Kane to score, if he cant score in the last two games then I dont see how he will in this game and  it seems I was right
