A gambler should definitely have control over his emotions and greed to overcome the disadvantages of gambling.

Hard to control it in most cases as emotion is a natural behavior.

When you win, your emotions tell you to gamble more.
When you lose, your emotions tell you to gamble more to chase a loss.

The best way would be, after this loss, be responsible enough to accept the defeat. It's ok to feel saddened nor regrettable but moving on should always be followed.

I would like to read on how people move on after they lose some big or some stories on how they successfully move on and never turned back to casino after they suffered a major loss. Most of the time when the gamblers found some opportunities to get back on track, they won't hesitate to try again that's why they repeat the same mistakes which they've been doing all the time. We need some stories to know how to tackle this kind of problem and perhaps that would become the reason for others to stop before the storm hit them very hard.

For me when I say gambling, my mind is set that it is "for fun only". One of the thing I am telling my mind not to do is getting a loan or debt that I am going to use on my gambling habbit because I/we have no assurance that we can win gambling so that we have money to pay it. I see "getting a loan" never becomes a good solution neither a good practice so as long as we can avoid it, then avoid it. If we see other people that become rich through gambling, then we must know how to manage our wins and losses without having any debts to pay after we win.
