Yeah, it's common sense and should be done by individual people generally, not only in gambling. Being responsible is a bare minimum that we should do since many things rely on us and being irresponsible might hurt or destroy other things in life. So in the case of gambling, the one that will be destroyed is your mental health, your financial status, and your family if your gambling addiction still continues.
