Wow! That's way much debt for an experience @OP. You know, its actually funny how a lot of gamblers go into gambling and believe that, they could actually win a fortune out of it! I've been there once though, your experience with the system is far worst than anything I've been through with gambling. Gambling is actually a business and it profits the owner of the platform more than it does to anyone as the odds on each game is carefully designed that way. The more you set your goals or targets on big wins, the farther or deeper you dig the hole for your own burial.

One thing is having these experience, the next thing is what you learnt and how to get back to your fit. Its always advised not to invest or gamble what you can't afford to lose. So, we must ask ourself at every point before making a stake. What would become of us should we loose the staked amount?

That is why I only deposit the amount I feel I am comfortable losing, of course I want to win but I know it might all go to the house so that is how I control myself. I just gamble as much as I can afford losing without depositing too much.

Responsible gambling I think means that we must only gamble what we have spare and aren't too worried of losing it. People spend money on movies don't regret watching it right? Similarly people gambling should not regret losing it.

There's always a big factors when you have someone who are guarding your back while you are still engaging to this kind of activities.,

People who will care about you when they are seeing that you already losing your control and you are already exceeding to your limits.

I don't agree with you, a gambler is not defined by the sum of money he gambles with. In my opinion someone who plays regularly with the lowest buyins is the same kind of gambler as someone who bets much higher sums. Everybody has a different type of bankroll, not all of us can afford to deposit large sums of money. Being a responsible gambler means for me that we only gamble with the money that we can afford to lose.

Based on what you've described then a sponsored streamers could be considered a real gambler? They also did deposit with a big sum of money although it was not from their own pocket? 

I tend to agree with the thoughts of two individuals above me, IMO a real gambler doesn't depend on how much sum of money that you spend in a session but rather understood exactly what they are doing and how much they spend on each session.

I think in the beginning we are all gamblers who do not care much what happens when we have just started gambling and are still under the adrenaline of it.However with the passing of time in each session we learn something and this accumulates over the years to improve somewhat our self control.Only at this stage we can be responsible gamblers as we have learned from experience what to do and not to do in different situations.

Experience helps us to gain knowledge and learn with the past mistakes that we did.

That's really making us realize that there's always the case that we want to win a lot on that particular day when you're feeling good but at the same time, there's something that stops you because you're becoming more responsible.

You know what shall happen if you won't stop if you're feeling the adrenaline already.

If we can learn from past mistakes and other people's mistakes, that can add more information and knowledge to us and we will have a chance to prevent ourselves from losing the money. A gambler really needs to be responsible for the money they use because if you are addicting playing, you will lost all money that you have sadly to say that is happening to the others gamblers who are uncontrol playing gambling games. We need to know that gambling is a risky and there is no assurance that you gain a profit I salute to those gambler who are responsible to the money they use. Don't lose all money in playing gambling but play that you can afford to lose so like what I did instead of gambling I investing to different project who gives me more profit..

Fortunately most gamblers are responsible and they understand that gambling is an activity that you do only for the fun you get out of it, but there is a very small subset of this group that does not understand it and they think they can make money with it, a few of them become professional gamblers and are capable to earn money with the activity but there is a subset from that group that do not know how to control themselves and will become addicted to gambling, however they can always recover from it with the right treatment.

Yes,,, like I said. It has to be a circle of trust. On one side,,, you are guarding them and caring for them because you have no money in their pot, and on the other hand they are doing the same for you. Mutually taking care of each other, and having no money in each other's pot. I know this is hard to do (find trust circle) but it really works.

The basic limit of an ordinary gambler is perhaps an empty pocket at the end of the day, a few people are still able to stop before their pockets are gouged out and empty but most of us choose the fate of a soldier, fight to the last drop of blood and end in tragedy. Battles that don't have a percentage chance of winning, can't believe so many people are still risking to shine a little light of hope, instead of trying to pursue and live the life of a soldier, we should live like a normal person and always know fear.

I am also the same as you do not have a permanent job and also continue to be at home taking care of the family, but when I play gambling I am aware of myself and play with only small capital. I do not want to gamble with my daily needs and family savings because it is very dangerous.

Huh? Really? Why can being around gamblers help you become a responsible gambler? I think on the contrary, when someone lives with gambling, they will be affected by the lifestyle there a lot, responsibility is a luxury. Moreover, your opinion does not come from a scientific perspective, it comes from your personal point of view. If we want to talk about science, we should talk about how stress makes our brains release something, makes us happy, stuff like that is what comes from a scientific perspective.

When we are gambling we don't think of saving money, we gamble only the amount that we can afford to lose, and as a gambler, we have to be ready to accept loses any time as our chance of winning is lower compared to the gambling house. Most of us do not have the skills in gambling, so it's just right that most of us have to only treat it as a way to have fun or use do it as entertainment.

Spending on watching movies is a perfect comparison, imo, I'm using it too. Take the ticket price. This is exactly what one can easily afford to lose in a week/month of gambling, depending on how often they buy movie tickets. For some people(and I was one of them many times) even once per month is too expensive. Such people to be responsible gamblers should spend on gambling accordingly: less than $10 per month.
