He was really thinking that he’d get to use his house arrest like a vacation and just serve it wherever. He can’t be surprised to be back in jail as a result. He’s totally insane.

Ok there is a rumor circulating around that Canelo's next fight won't be Bivol and not against Benavidez as well.

Again, this is just a rumor, it is said that it will be Canelo va Jermall Charlo. Jermall last fight though is 2019, so not sure why Canelo and his camp are picking a inactive fighter and not even a true 168 super middle weight boxer.

Sure Jermall is a middle champion, but he will have to go up in weight and fight Canelo at his best weight.

And it seems that Canelo is really cherry picking his fight now or someone in his team did. So let's see if this fight is going to be developed and will actually going to happen late this year. This fight though might hit Canelo's legacy as he duck Benavidez and then his rematch with Bivol.

So far, there are two things that might explain why Canelo picked Jermall Charlo instead of picking some bad boy in the same division as him or at least active.

1. They chose Charlo to keep Canelo warmed up until they can establish a negotiating position with Bivol because as of now, Bivol shows no interest in Canelo because of the terms being given to them even after upsetting Canelo in their first clash.

2. Canelo's career is in sundown already and what they are doing right now is just taking advantage of Canelo's fame while he can still sell a fight while picking a much safer boxer that will match the equation. I mean, that fight with John Ryder might be a tune-up but that also revealed Canelo's current situation and most probably revealed the likelihood if he will fight heavy named boxers.

Both scenario is possible, I like the second option though, yes, admit it or not, after his final fight with GGG, it seems all the energy was zap up from Canelo plus the injury that he suffered. Then we have the wear and tear, which is the usual culprit for a boxer to suddenly feel old and no longer in his prime.

So if Reynoso see that Canelo is on the way out or his career is on the sundown, then they pick a easy way with Jermall Charlo, a good fighter, known in the US is a champion as well. In paper it looks good, but Canelo has all the advantage here and they can see if Canelo still can pull the trigger or really on the decline already.

By now, they might've figured it out already because yes, his fight versus Ryder somehow made the picture much clearer because Canelo was already slowing down and it feels like he's not the Canelo like we used to know. In any case a win is a win and this is his first time to defend his belt.

Maybe it didn't happen because Zorrilla is only a replacement opponent for him. Usually it really break the training strategy or the plans of this fighter. Good thing is that there is no upset. Unlike Manny's last fight, it should be against Spence, but the late replacement boxer in Ugas point one master class against the legend and beat him.

I forgot to check it yesterday as I was also busy with something else. Funny, I also posted here about that fight, and yet I am the one who missed it.  
So it was 4+ odds in the decision but most gamblers took the win with lesser but sure profits or a knockout which is a loss. I would've also taken that knockout bet if I was able to catch it especially if I don't see the win profitable enough like 1.20 - 1.30 only.

Split decision. Is it really that close? I mean, 2 judges think that Prograis dominated the fight while the other judge thinks it's a close one, and worst he thinks Zorrilla won scoring 113-114 for him. This will not be far from what happened with Ryan Garcia. A rehydration clause is not an easy task. Imagine just staying thirsty before the fight, it's not just the body that will have a problem but also mentally it could affect him.
A big disadvantage for the Badou Jack's camp if they will agree with this, almost like suicide.  What kind of punches would The Ripper let go? It will not even affect Canelo in that situation.

So it's good that Bivol and Badou stand their grounds and not let Canelo win the psychological battle about the weights and rehydration clause and specially what should be the split between them. And I do agree that maybe they know that Canelo has a couple of fights left so why not just fight for the money as he already cemented his legacy.

A lot of experts are saying that Rehydration Clause is really too much for the body to take and sometimes it will cause brain damage to the boxer and they are not really recommending it, well it is a good stand for Bivol and Badou to not go into Canelo Alvarez terms and I think they all seen the effect of it on Ryan Garcia after his fight with Gervonta Tank Davis, it surely hurt Garcia in a sense he can not take Tank Davis punches and the damage is too much for him, I guess if Canelo Alvarez doesn't really want a fair fight he should have a fight anybody where it was easy for him, I think he is near his retirement for sure,

This will not be far from what happened with Ryan Garcia. A rehydration clause is not an easy task. Imagine just staying thirsty before the fight, it's not just the body that will have a problem but also mentally it could affect him.
A big disadvantage for the Badou Jack's camp if they will agree with this, almost like suicide.  What kind of punches would The Ripper let go? It will not even affect Canelo in that situation.

David Benavidez. Why not? Is the Canelo camp trying to avoid him? I mean, I have seen him challenging the champ for a long time now and there's still no answer yet. I heard there's a chance Canelo will be stripped of his title if he won't fight Benavidez this time. Just take it, it's good money and I bet the pay-per-view amount will be loads of money too.

For me, I think just letting Canelo do his thing and ignoring him, is a better thing to do than going with his Rehydration Clause is just suicide, and yes Badou Jack can not take that kind of thing he might get brain damage because of it, and expert is saying that there should not be Rehydration Clause, or don't accept something like it, Ryan Garcia is just lucky for not having any problems at all or what so ever but I think he now feels the effect of it in his body and I think this might be why he change his trainer for letting him accepting this suicidal fight, against Gervonta Davis,
