Argentina is actually still a very strong team. They are still dependent on Messi but they also still have a lot of other strong players. I wonder how Argentina will play. Would they then return to play for Messi as Barcelona did for years before his departure? Maybe you should give those players a little more freedom. They can beat anyone on paper at this tournament. In 2014 they were already 2nd in the world, but they could also have become world champions. They are not among the top favorites, but they are not among the outsiders either. I think they are just at the sub top behind 4-5 countries.

I don't know why do you think that Argentina is inferior to Brazil if we take team balance in to account. IMO, both of them are equally good. Look at Brazil. They have Neymar, Richarlison, Roberto Firmino and Vinícius Júnior as forwards and then Casemiro and Fred to back them up in the midfield. And in defense they have Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Danilo. Can it get any stronger than this? Now look in to Argentina. Apart from Lionel Messi, they have Paulo Dybala and Lautaro Martínez as forwards. Ángel Di María and Leandro Paredes are super-strong in midfield and defense is under the control of Nicolás Otamendi. Both the teams look equally strong for me.

Actually Group C going to make some change in this tournament.Because Argentina is the good team with huge good players in it.And the Group G will be lead by the Brazil.The tough competition in the football will be this two team.We all know the legacy of this two team,they had potential to win the game with their own strategy.Strategy is not based on the team players alone,it also depends on the players potential in the game.Lionel Messi is enough for the full team spirit.Messi is not only the key player of the team,he will guide the full team to the match and make them to win at all point.As we know this two team had world class players.They will play like a 11 players as compared to rest of the team members of other country.This was unique with European playing the game in Islamic county.

Group C has Argentina, Poland, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia. Of course Argentina is the powerhouse there, but Mexico and Poland are quite good teams actually, so it will be a bit of a challenge for Argentina to lead there. Saudi Arabia will probably not go to the next stage, but I'm not so sure about who are the two teams that will go. It would be a massive disappointment if Argentina doesn't make it to the next round, but there is a chance of that with Poland and Mexico there.

I think it would really be a huge surprise if Argentina, one of the main favorites of this world championship, does not pass the group and does not advance to the knockout stage of the competition.

I would actually disagree with you. I remember the 1986 World Cup when Argentina was last world champion, and one player, Maradona, was so dominant that he practically single-handedly brought Argentina the world title.
Because of this, Messi feels a lot of pressure from the public because all Argentinians compare him to Maradona. This is his last chance to help his national team win the world championship and to prove that he is a bigger player than Maradona.

I share your opinion about Netherlands... I don't expect them to get very far.
They were already very strong in the past, but if we look at the most recent results we can see that in 2018 they didn't even qualify for the world cup.
More recently, at the 2021 European Championship they "surprisingly" lost to the Czech Republic in the round of 16 (not wanting to discredit the Czech Republic, but Netherlandscould have won that game).
Will they be able to wow the world in 2022? Honestly I don't think so.

I believe that Ecuador is going to top this group, and Netherlands may struggle to qualify for the next round. Netherlands is not in good form since Euro 2021. Ecuador on the other hand has performed exceptionally well in the Copa America 2021 and the World Cup qualifiers. The other two teams in Group A (Qatar and Senegal) are also quite strong and both the teams have performed well at international level recently. Qatar has the home advantage as well. It is going to be tough for the Netherlands, even to qualify to knockout phase.
