It was expected in group A and the Netherlands finished the group leader. In the last matches, he defeated the host Qatar 2-0 and collected 7 points. In the last match of this group, Ecuador lost 1-2 against Senegal and did not use its advantage. At worst, Ecuador would have advanced to the next round if it had ended in a draw.

This group remained some soft core teams group with only the Netherlands as an elite team which, isn't so elite anymore with the quality of players that makes up the team. There obvious leading the group was never in doubt although, Ecuador seemed like a good team to advance but, the team was mostly built on one man and that is Valencia which doesn't make them look very competitive. Senegal on the other hand have got S. Mane but in his absence, most of the players stepped up and did good in there games.

Qatar makes yet another history as the first host to have competed in the tournament and not make a win, gets to score only a single goal and is eliminated in there second game of the tournament.  That's awful, considering how much that was spent to put this up. Now, there just got to watch, lol!

This is what was predicted from the start and indeed the facts remain the same with Ecuador and Senegal having to fight to the end.
Ecuador was initially a bit of a favorite for several people to accompany the Netherlands but Senegal proved that even if they were without Mane they could play very well.
The decisive match was quite thrilling and of course I'm happy with their result especially my 3.20 odds were not in vain in this match.

Quite disappointed with the way Ecuador failed to qualify for the next stage. If you guys remember, Ecuador was embroiled in a controversy even before the start of the tournament, with the Chilean football federation complaining to FIFA and CAS that one of the players (Byron Castillo) is not eligible to play for Ecuador. Anyway, CAF fans can be happy, as Senegal becomes the first African nation to enter the PQF stage. Quite frankly, I didn't expected them to defeat Ecuador, especially without their best player (Sadio Mane, missing out due to injury).

In the Ecuador-Senegal game, Senegal scored 2 goals to knock Ecuador out of the tournament. Ecuador was the side with more possession but they were not effective in front of goal. I expected Ecuador to win but it didn't happen as I expected.
In the other match of the group, Netherlands defeated Qatar.Qatar was the side that left with defeat in all 3 matches. Netherlands played a good match and they are already one of the favorites in the tournament.

the tempo of the game in the England vs Wales match did not seem too aggressive. Both teams played fairly casually. a bit boring i guess. and England attacked more in this match. And I think England will be more likely to win this game. because even in this first round Wales have not had the opportunity to kick directly towards the English goal.

I never believe the Netherlands will beat Qatar to qualify for the next round which is a very interesting turn out of events that really proves the unpredictability of this round of the world cup.

The Netherlands are basically better than Qatar, so I don't know why you are not sure how they can beat Qatar who is not able to collect a single point. So the Netherlands victory was not actually a surprise, it should have been. So in Group A, the Netherlands and Senegal have the right to qualify for the next round, but I agree that Senegal is indeed special because they played well and won even without their best players, especially in the last match in the group stage.

For the Group B match, England and Wales still played without a goal while USA won 1-0 over Iran in the first half. I think Wales also seems to be able to lose this match because England played quite well until the first half ended. Looking forward to the second half.

There was almost no experiment that endangered the England goal carried out by Wales players, even Gareth Bale did not get much ball because Stones and Maguire played pretty well in the England defense.

During the first half that I watched, a total of 9 shots were released by England players against Wales, 6 of them were released from outside box 16.

There is no good attack from the side of Wales. England is playing good till first half. Rashford and Foden have missed golden chances. Otherwise, England would lead in this match. I hope England will be able to score in second half for winning the match.

wow i missed to watch it. because I'm too focused on watching the Wales vs England match at the moment.

if USA can still maintain its advantage against Iran then USA will qualify for the group stage. and it seems that in group B England and USA will qualify. following Netherlands and Senegal who have qualified in Group A. But we don't know what will happen in the second half.

If Iran should score, it should be after united states have added another goal. The United states team is a hardworking team and they need the win against Iran to progress to the next stage and thanks to Pullisic, the team is already a goal ahead at halftime, job half done already. The team needs to create more chances for goals and take them well to ensure that another goal can be scored and the lead extended incase the Iranians pull up some surprises.

So, one more round to finish the group phase. There were a lot of surprises in this cup and many of the favourite teams will fall behind. I was not hoping that Portugal went past the group phase but they, actually
did.
So, for now, I'm hoping to see them in the finals. It would be good for Cristiano, as if Portugal won the cup he would have one more record that no other soccer player ever had.

We will see the first experiment for Britain through a free kick after Foden is violated exactly 150 cm in front of box 16 and Rashford really uses well into a goal. Brilliant goals from Manchester United players and Foden added a score to bring England to qualify for the round of 16. Harry Kane became the creator who gave assists.

Wales's position is increasingly threatened not to qualify for the round of 16 and we can make sure it is no longer possible to qualify because America is still superior to Iran. Even if Iran vs America draws, Wales remains at the bottom of the standings.

Hello guys, I found out something on stake, maybe I am missing something, I don't know, but it's actually confusing..

How possible is it that two world cup matches are being played at the same time?
Current match I believe is between Iran vs USA, but stake is reporting that  Wales vs England match is also live, how is this possible on the same stadium?

The match didn't take place at the same stadium mate , for the Iran Vs USA match, the match was held at Al Thumama Stadium while the Wales Vs England match was held at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. So it's not held in the same stadium mate. You can easily find this information on Google livescore.

Because they didn't even check VAR and they just let the match go on directly. USA should be able to answer this in the best manner. They are a big threat in such situations.

I don't agree if someone says England's game is very boring, in fact England played well and was attractive throughout the match even though the tempo of the game in the first half was not as high as the second half.

Maguire, who was actually considered a problem for the Manchester United defense, actually played well in the English defense. England will also qualify for the round of 16, they deserve it. 0-3 now.

Qatar as host country has in the past few days of the WC competition created many touching records like first host country to loss their first opening game, first host country to not had a single win in the competition.

I wasn't surprised seeing Qatar stopping here at group stage cause they're a obviously not a football interest country it's just a hosting right that qualified them for the first time in history of WC. But I still have to congratulate them, they really gave in their best.

Congratulations to Senegal for their qualification to the next round. I hope they do better and make Africa proud.

About 20 minutes left in the second half their lives were on the line in this game. Iran, which we know, performed poorly from the first match, but now they are starting to get up and are ready to fill the runners up in Group B. Here, England have certainly qualified because they have scored 3 goals against Wales and won Group B.
