Although Uruguay won, they failed to advance to the next round with a dramatic goal difference.  Had they scored one more goal, they would have been promoted to the next round.  Speaking for South Korea, they fought with all their might against Portugal.  The assist in the goal scored in the extra time was enormous.  South Korea deserved it.  Although their opponents will be tough in the next round, at least they have a chance.

wow wow wow South Korea played an incredible game.  They finally beat Portugal by  2-1 goal in lost time and got a chance to play in the round of 16. The game was amazing.  And Portugal lost the match because of their one mistake . They left their penalty area completely empty as they had no players.  And South Korea used that opportunity to beat Portugal

unexpected, but that's what happened. South Korea finally got the chance that silenced Portugal at the last minute. of course, it is a regret for Portugal even though it did not change Portugal's place in the round of 16. and what's more, fun is that it won't bring Portugal and Brazil together in the knockout stages. this will be even more interesting in the Round of 16 when countries that are not in favor appear surprising like Japan and South Korea.

Hwang Hee-chan is a very smart player as soon as he got a chance he quickly took it and scored a goal . This opportunity gave South Korea a chance to play in the round of 16 . I enjoyed the whole match but I wasn't that surprised.  However, I was very surprised to see the goal of South Korea at 90+1'.  The joy of which lit up my eyes

It was a beautiful sight for the South Korean national team players to wait for the result of the Uruguay-Ghana match in the midfield. I'm sure South Koreans will watch these exciting images in their documentaries years later. We also need to open a parenthesis to Son heung-min. He had a great assist at the last minute. In my opinion, he was the architect of South Korea's victory today. Also, this world cup was a tournament where Asian teams stood out. Before the tournament, I never expected to encounter such a tableau. I think this result was a big surprise for everyone.

South Korea was really quite surprising after previously they were ranked 3rd but were finally able to secure the runner up position while sending Uruguay home early, the match against Portugal was quite difficult for Korea, especially during the match Portugal domination was quite large but the spirit from Korea never gave up really able to give sweet results end, being left behind by 1 goal in 5th minute did not make Korea desperate and even Korea continued to try to improve attacks until they were finally able to make a comeback and win the match with a score of 2-1 , although in another match Uruguay also won from Ghana and both have 4 points but Korea which has a better goal productivity than Uruguay  entitled was finally get 1 ticket to the round of 16.

I had wished and  hoped for Ghana to score and win the game but you know what they say about wishes  
I watched as Ghana missed the penalty and I just knew they wouldn’t win the game. When half time came and Ghana was down by two goals to nil, I lost all my enthusiasm towards supporting the African nation as it was clear Uruguay was going to be the victor in the game. I kinda expected more from them but as with expectations, mine was crushed. Well, it was fun while it lasted and they had a good run at the tournament.

A win would have guaranteed Ghana's qualification to the next round but had to pay for their sloppy defending and wasteful attacking. That penalty was the opportunity Ghana had to control the match but they missed the penalty and it gave Uruguay the motivation to press the Ghanaian defense. The first goal was a clear defensive blunder and slackness to tackle a rebound. It is quite painful that Ghana had to lose that match but my heart goes to Uruguay because they did all they needed to go to the next round. This is the consequences of their lose against Portugal and draw against South Korea.

It was a very emotional win for the South Koreans. I think they never expected that the would make it to the next round because defeating Portugal was a tough task. But they played good football and tried as much possible to curtail the attack of Portugal and they had luck by their side. The last minute counter attack was outstanding and I congratulate the South Koreans for this deserved feat.

Very good hard work for South Korea and brought good results in the last minute of extra time South Korea made a comeback and made the score 2-1, and the second goal was created by Hwang Hee-chan in 90+1 minutes and an assist from Son Heung -min.
and although Portugal lost, it still topped Group H and South Korea finished second and both qualified for the next round. Uruguay's hopes were dashed even though Gana lost 2-0, and Uruguay's big hope is that Portugal face South Korea with a draw to qualify for the next round with Portugal. However, the reality is different.

Of course, South Korea's 2-0 victory over Portugal made Uruguay's efforts, which had already won the match against Ghana with a score of 0-2, unable to get them past the group stage.
We appreciate the struggle of Luiz Suarez and his friends against Ghana and this will be Luiz Suarez's last World Cup.

Portugal won the previous two matches which saw them qualify for the next round as group champions. South Korea beat Portugal to secure second round as runners-up. But sadly for Uruguay, they could not secure the next round despite securing a 2-0 victory. Because they are level with South Korea on points but behind on goal difference.

It was such a dramatic ending for them as they scored the winning goal in the last moments of the game. There was a very exciting waiting after it finished. The worst case scenario needed to be Uruguay's win by 2 goals for South Korea to advance.

Uruguay also deserved to continue in the World Cup. Because their performance against Ghana was very impressive. After they got an advantage by 2-0 already in the first half I started to think that they would be the qualifying team instead of South Korea. But here we are. Congrats to South Korea for making it!

South Korea was really lucky to go through. A few minutes before the goal, the match was going as a draw and I even predicted that we can bet on a draw for this match, but then South Korea scored at the end of the 2nd half and this changed the fate for South Korea.

Uruguay on the other hand was very unlucky as they could not make it to the round of 16. Till the 80 min of the match, they felt they would reach the round of 16 as they were leading 2-0 against Ghana, but the Korea scored in the other game and shattered their dreams.

I thought Portugal gave victory to Korea to get rid of Uruguay and Ghana, so that when in the knockout round Portugal would be easier against unseeded teams from several groups, but whatever it was congratulations to Korea thanks to Korea's victory I had to lose the bet and it hurt

Maybe it will be the same today with Cameroon against Brazil? Then you can almost say the favorite feels very safe. If this is sure, then the chance to lose is maybe higher. But Brazil will not happen, they are one of the 3 teams that can win the tournament this year.

Uruguay failed to secure the next round after defeating Ghana 2-0. It was heartbreaking indeed. Everyone feels bad for Suarez personally, he's so broken. Uruguay could not advance to the next round despite the victory due to the goal difference.

Asian countries in the World Cup this time are very surprising, especially those shown by South Korea and Japan. South Korea qualified in such a dramatic way that perhaps it came as a surprise to Uruguay who had the better paper advantage in their last game.
In the next match and will be the last match in this group stage, we will see matches between Brazil vs Cameroon and Switzerland vs Serbia. This will also be a thrilling match because the 3 countries will still be fighting over the runner up position in the standings.

The world cup has become very difficult to predict. Personally i was expecting Ghana and South Korea to leave the competition but here we see Uruguay becoming the victim of eviction. Defeating Portugal who won their first two matches is something i least expected but it happened.

I am not even sure Brazil will get an easy win on Cameroon. No country in the 2022 world cup has ended their group stage with 9 points i am not underestimating Brazil but i am careful not to overhype them. Even after losing today's match, Portugal became the group champions. South Korea was very lucky today. They scored the first goal in the 27th minute. As if scored the second goal in 90+1 minutes. It's true ,they both Japan and South goes to the same way . I said once before that this FIFA World Cup is going in the opposite direction. Otherwise, how could a team like South Korea beat a strong team like Portugal. I am not gonna underestimating South Korea's performance but if you looks at that match stats the You will saw that then  Portugal was ahead in all sector like Match position ,pass accuracy etc . I also felt sad for Portugal but congratulations to South Korea for the next round

The other seven teams from the top 10 most valuable squads have already qualified for the knockout rounds. Considering the fixtures in the Round of 16, all of them have a chance to win their matches, and it is very possible that all of them will continue to advance to the quarter-finals, which would be a delight for all football fans. Yes, on paper the favorite team will at least be safe but in reality, when the unseeded teams play the decisive match, at least they will also provide strong resistance. Say like Japan and South Korea, basically these two teams in the last match really weren't considered to win, but even so, at least there were still considerations about a draw.
But what happened was that Japan and South Korea actually won and made them qualify for the next round, especially about Japan who thought Japan would win Group E above Spain and Germany.

So, even though for example Brazil will only play against South Korea in the knockout round, at this moment I think Brazil is still not completely safe.
