Croatia had a really big difficulty against Japan today. They were barely able to eliminate Japan by penalty shootouts. If they don't make any improvement in their effort they can't do much against Brazil.

It would be unwise to count Croatia out just yet. These matches showed that Japan and Korea play at different levels.
Korea was one of the lucky teams to advance out of its group and play in a knockout round. If not for an unfortunate last-minute events, Uruguay would have been playing today instead.

On the other hand, Japan showed that it is a team to be reckoned with by beating two former world champions—Germany and Spain. So, it's not out of the question to think that Croatia could make it to the semifinals.

I already have two teams in mind to win this world cup: France and Brazil. Watching Poland playing against France was among the best games I actually watched, and brazil vs. south Korea I knew deep down that they are no match for brazil after brazil won with 4 goals, with Neymar scoring a penalty just 13 minutes before the start time. I see so much fire in brazil and France to win this tournament. does are the two teams am supporting since my country did not qualify, may next world cup Nigeria might just surprise people.

4-0 in the first half, really shows that Brazil is a great team and a potential champion, next Brazil will face Croatia and I believe Brazil's journey will not be difficult in beating Croatia

Brazil played a complete football in the first half and that was enough to secure the win. But we were expecting more goals in the second half but it didn't happen. Brazil gained tremendous confidence after the goal from the penalty, which quickly resulted in two more goals.

Brazil may not face France in the semifinals, Brazil's opponents in the semifinals will be Argentina or Netherlands. So you have to wait till the final to see that hope fulfilled.

Brazil fans are excited with a great wining against South Korea. Basically Brazil ended the game in 36 minutes with 4 goals. Then in this match, South Korea will come back, do something incredible, that even the most optimistic Korean fans in the world will not dare to say. Brazil was very accurate in its game plan. As planned the execution happened even before Korean players got into the match. In 2 more matches, we will find out that the seeded teams will advance to the quarter-finals, Spain and Portugal can qualify as we hope because they are the seeded teams, but don't forget that the world cup always has surprises for all of us, although I'm sure Spain and Portugal will qualify for the quarter-finals later

It was a very competitive game and an interesting experience to witness. I think this Croatian side have lots of experience when it comes to penalty shootouts, they have a record of winning three penalties they have played in the history of the world cup and they showed their class again today against Japan. Brazil have been known as champions in the world cup,they might be the one to carry this year world cup because I already see them win their next match against Croatia in the quarter finals,since Croatia won Japan with PK. Brazil dominated today's match against S.Korea as they scored all four goals in the first half.

Brazil won 4-1 by dominating the match. In the 7th minute of the game, Rafinha made a wonderful attack from the right side. Vinicius Jr. secured the goal with a powerful right-footed shot as he pushed the ball down the right flank. In the 13th minute, Richarlison was fouled by South Korea's Jung Woo Young in the box. The referee blows the penalty whistle. Neymar's spot kick doubled the lead. Despite scoring two goals, Brazil continued to attack on after another. In the 29th minute Thiago Silva scored a goal from the ball extended by Richarlison, who won the match with a double goal against Serbia. They had to wait 6 minutes for the fourth goal. I recognize it was one of the better performing matches of the Brazilian team.

Japan got knocked out earlier today, it's disappointing because they put up a fight against Croatia but couldn't win the game in 90minutes. Croatia have something special that I admire so much which is their level of team spirit and togetherness, something we saw in the last world cup, probably history is about to be repeated in this world cup which I will be so excited to witness. Levakovic was the best player today saving Croatia in the penalty shootouts. Too bad Brazil gave South Korea no chance in the game today, what an exciting and thrilling experience tonight. I am convinced that Brazil is the team for the world cup this year.

I believe it will be an interesting match between Argentina x Netherlands.
Although I think that Argentina is a dangerous team and can win this game, but on the other hand, Netherlands is a solid and a good team and I have no doubt that Netherlands can bring more danger to the argentine team.

You are right about this. Korea had several chances to score more goals, but they didn't know how to take advantage of the opportunities, unlike Brazil.
But I believe this is one of the main characteristics of an excellent football team, rather than a country that has a weak team, like South Korea (please don't get me wrong, I'm not belittling the South Korean team, i just made a brief comparison)

We are very likely to watch an amazing semi final game like Argentina - Brazil.    This would be like an early finale in the World Cup. These teams are already very accustomed to playing against each other of course. But the World Cup is much more different than the other tournaments. We should be seeing the best performances in a probable matchup like this.

Brazil would be the favourite side obviously after seeing their amazing effort in the recent times. Argentina have also been doing really well with big help of Messi. But even Messi might not be enough to get past a big obstacle like Brazil.

That's a wrong prediction from you. From the very beginning it is known that the match winner is Brazil. To the expectation the Brazil players were dominant throughout the match. Their attacking lines are much different from Brazil, however, they may be under pressure to face a big team like Brazil. As we know that South Korea is not a big team with many excellent players. We can see only few of them that have good performance in the team. We can say that experience tells many things and Brazil has the big epxeriences. So, I think that the vitorcy of Brazil from South Korea is predictable enough even wiht many goals created by Brazil. But, we really appreciate how South Korea has qualified for round 16 so far, they were much developing.

I can't deny that Brazil is very awesome so far. They always perform very excellently, except in the previous match n which they didn't put their main squad. But, we know that many talents there, have strong attacking lines that always can utilize eveyr chance to score. In the next match, Brazil will face Croatia which they were the finalist in the FWC 2018. So, this will be interesting, right? Still cannot see who will be in the finalist because right now, we are seeing many big teams in the round 16, I personally expect that Portugal will be one of them, but I know, this is not easy
