Even if Sterling wasn't back it wouldn't be any problem for England side actually. Because Foden played instead of Sterling for two matches and his performance has been really impressive. But Sterling would still be needed in subs to replace him during this match of course. A World Cup break of two straight days after 17 straight days of World Cup action. 2 days off was just too exciting for me, I could not contain my excitement. There are only eight games left. In as much as I am enjoying this break, I am also looking forward to the quarterfinals. We can look forward to Brazil and Argentina both completing a clean sweep tomorrow. There is nothing I miss more than samba dance celebrations.

With the 2 days off on the world cup schedule, at least I can sleep well since yesterday and don't stay up late to watch the world cup. While things are clearly different for Croatia, they really weren't expected to win against Brazil. I have looked at several betting books and all are favoring Brazil to win so the odds for Croatia are really high. On some sites, the Croatian odds are close to @8, that's clearly a trap for bet.

Of course there were good chances during normal time for Spain to score but they were out of luck as their shot hit the post. Spain failed due to its own mistakes that are not used to shooting at goal, maybe because the players tend to follow the strategy of the coach.

I believe Spain is not the favorite for the 2022 World Cup, they lack players who can be relied on in attack even though they currently have several new names in their squad. The results of the match were very bad especially because they lost in the penalty shootout, but the Spanish strategy game was really good. L Enrique should have done better with his tactics, change some players and change of formation he should have gone pass this level but  all the faluire should be on his head.

Though, Morroco sat back for Spanish side's to attack them and hit them with counter attack's. Special kudos to Amrabat of Morocco he had an individual performance I can never forget, I will forever have it up in my head.

but given how this World Cup has gone, I wouldn't take Brazil's victory for granted
