Well, another bet that unfortunately I lost.
I bet that Portugal would easily win against Morocco, but unfortunately that didn't happen.
France and England had an interesting and competitive game, but the French team got the upper hand and managed to advance to the semi-finals.
My question is, will Morocco play inspired and motivated against France and manage to advance to the finals? Will Croatia beat Argentina?
will this actually happen? this is my question!

Nothing is sure this world cup, so many unexpected result happened and that include the loss of Portugal to Morocco, I also lose a bet because of this.
Morocco is on the hot spot here, if they manage to sustain that momentum then I can see them going into the finals for the very first time.
France is the defending champion though, they won't let that to happen easily especially now that they are very near for going back into the finals.

The defending champions have reached the semifinals in a quite way while the expected teams started to drop down at different levels with disappointment. This looks like France holding the higher chance of reaching the finals. However my choice for the final was Morocco vs Croatia

Better not to be complacent if you are going to play against Morocco because they already beat the favorite teams and probably, they might surprise France as well. This could be a home court advantage for this since Morocco is slowly becoming the favorite as the only Arab team to reach the semis. France have to be prepared, all they need to do is to play their very best and let their star player do the work, this should be a total team effort for france so they can reach the finals again.

Yes, can't be underestimated. Although Morocco has lost very badly against team USA, but in the next match so far they have had a very good effort, they can beat the favorite European team, so France must be wary with this team which from the African continent. Maybe also France should win at half time, by 2 score if they want to qualify for the final, I think with 2 scores Morocco had no big of chance in the second half.

What a great win for Morocco. This is the first time Morocco has qualified for the semi-finals. On the other hand, Portugal lost and Cristiano Ronaldo is out of the World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo will not be seen playing for Portugal.

I used to see people supporting Neymar, Ronaldo, Messi and different other players and making big boards in my locality. Often used to see videos posted by them portraying the games played by them. For some reason all were in disappointment and only the Argentina fans are with a happy mind. Lets see what happens further, because talking of the past not gonna bring back the teams.

Even today we had some surprises.
Nobody or almost nobody expected the defeat of Portugal against Morocco, the historic first time for an African team in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
In the other game, France won but the result was more indecisive than ever with the penalty missed in the end by Kane.

The match was certainly more complicated than Cristiano's but as of today I don't see a team clearly superior to the others.

At full strength France is probably superior but the missing players Benzema Pogba Kantè among the many are a big problem.

I certainly had some surprises at the results of the Portugal vs Morocco match. On paper, Portugal is the better team and should have easily won the game. But this World Cup has proven that miracles do happen as the Moroccans have gone ahead to eliminate Portugal from the tournament, leaving Ronaldo in tears as he walked away into the dressing room.

I think the England vs France match went pretty well. Two big teams with a lot of stars collide and France came out the victor by 2 goals to Englands 1. Now France has gone ahead in the tournament vying for the rights to be the World Cup winners.

Is it possible Croatia will win against Argentina, to they Croatia can revenge for the last world cup in the final if against france? Since Deschamps tactics is working then I don't see why he will call Benzema even he is 100% healed and fit. Giroud is doing a good job and the attack line is working. Obviously Benzema will remain a valid option in case there will be a serious dysfunction in the attack line, until then he might be shown in the final game lineups tho.

I fully believe that Morocco will never beat France in the semi finals. Because the France team is much better than Morocco, the quality of players in their team is insane. The France team is used to playing all types of football from attacking to defending.

Haha true that, Underdogs have been brilliant this world cup. However lot of them got screened out in quarters but Morocco is the only one still going strong. I am totally rooting for them to reach to the finals at least. Now that I see that France is their next opponent, I kinda feel they have to go slightly overboard now as compared to other opponents they have faced till now.
