Well i think the match yesterday was very very close and that France was just the luckier team yesterday and that was the only reason why they have won that game. France did not really have much chances to score. There was one header of Giroud in the first half and that was pretty much it. France scored their goal with a long distance shot and i think that Pickford should have saved that shot, but he didn't obviously. After that England was the better team and the penalty that they got was deserved and also the equalizer. After the 1-1 England remained the stronger team and was closer to the next goal then France in my opinion but then France again scored pretty much out of nowhere after a corner kick. England had another chance to make the equalizer but Kane missed the penalty, which is something that happens only very rarely.
So i would say that England was just pretty unlucky yesterday.

England has been dominating the match against england. That's why france deserves won against england in the last match. ENgland was not overrated team but it's not lucky enough against france. England has more bal possessions but it has very bad execution compared with france that used counter attack as a way to make two goals against england. England can do better if it can make some shots on target to be goals.
The problem is harry kane didn't give a lot of impact to the team. The way of counter attack by france is far effective compared with the domination from ball possessions owned by england.

It was really another big disappointment for England supporters. After 56 years they were closing in on the title slowly here. But they couldn't get past the France obstacle. If Ronaldo is a player in that position, with his jump power, he would be able to complete it better. The match with Morocco shows that Ramos must learn a lot of more things for his career.

I agree with you that Ronaldo has not been in great form for the last few months. He is struggling to return to form. But first I will say, his contribution to the Portugal team should not be forgotten.

Secondly, if there is a disruptive player like Ronaldo in the squad, at least 2/3 of the opponent's defenders would be busy blocking Ronaldo. I think the fairytale is coming to an end for Morocco now. I must admit that they have done a wonderful work until this moment. They eliminated much bigger teams than themselves and surprised the world. But that must be it now. Because France are one of the numbered very experienced teams in the World Cup. I do agree that no one was expecting Morocco to play semi finals since till date no African country has reached so far in the Fifa world cup. This will boost confidence of African countries like Nigeria, Senegal and Cameroon in next events. So far the defensive strategy of morocco has stunned everyone, they have so far conceded only 1 goal in there 5 games played so far. There next game is with France which is number team but they have already beaten number 2 team i.e. Belgium, so we cant say that France can easily beat Morocco in the semis. Considering the balance between France and England, France is a stronger team.  I think the balance is in favor of France.  England is never a weak team.  They are still unlucky in terms of penalties.  Had Kane scored the second penalty, they could have gone to overtime and maybe even won.  It was what a lot of people expected, and France won.  For me, the dream for Morocco will be this far.  It's really hard to beat France.
