Galatasaray won 2-1. They played counter attacking from the start. However, the opposition kept ball control within themselves for a long time and they continued to process. But Galatasaray missed some great chances, they could have scored more if they hadn't missed those chances.

I really appreciated Galatasaray's impressive football in their attacking side. In the absence of Icardi, Gomis did a very nice work. I think Galatasaray played really well in the first half of today's game. They scored two goals, got many goal chances and dominated the ball. However, in the second half, they lost their superiority from time to time. Especially after Juan Mata and Yusuf Demir entered the game, the control of the match became open to both teams. I think Galatasaray coach Okan Koç should reconsider these changes. Because when he put midfielders with weak defenses on the field at the same time, Galatasaray fell out of the game. Right now, Galatasaray is at the top of league table which is surely amazing performance from them because there were no thinking about them to have this spot in this season after having the worst end of last season and now with this performance they have clear chance to stay at the top for few more weeks because things are looking good for them and their all players are giving them best today they started slow but quickly takes lead by two goals which help them for having two full points in this match against the side which is surely going down at the end of this season after having just 8 points from 14 matches.

I think these allegations are unfounded. Jorge Jesus is an excellent coach. He will not exhibit any behavior contrary to professionalism. This match was very seedy and there could have been any kind of outcome. It always happens like that in derby matches anyway. Fenerbahce had not played badly in the preparatory matches played before that and in the Turkish Cup match. If they win the next two matches and then against Galatasaray, all the negative air will dissipate.
