My old question remains: how do we see our old positions in past seasons? I really tried looking. I know 3 or 4 seasons in a row I'm bottom of Clubhouse league, but I want to know precisely how badly I've regressed (or progressed?).

And yes, why are people afraid of Trofo? All he does is see my picks and go the complete opposite.

I am purposely avoiding looking at others' drafts this season. Want to try something new and put out the first 11 without outside influence. I am leaning towards early wildcard anyway so why not see how I can do in the first few game weeks?

I think this is my 6th draft in the last two weeks ($0 in the bank). 

My advice is to avoid Turner, he has 21,1% owners and when people understand that he is not 1st pick in the team they will start to transfer him out and you will lose some sum from the budget.

You did? I recall finishing somewhere in 25th or the like. But that was only because I was stupid and took a lot of hit points after using my wildcard too early. If I held on I could've finished in the top 20.

I think everyone is going to be TC'ing Haaland GW2 against Ipswich though, so I don't think the new offer is worth it.

That is not actually true. Last season I won and I was having good season from get go. That was first such experience for me and still I only won in the last round by very small margin. I usually start very badly and than make up for it and climb ranks but not all the way to the top.

The season before last was just like that. I started with a double Liverpool defense and Kane instead of Haaland. The result was I was bottom of the pool after 5GW. I finished the first half of the season maybe on the 20th position. then we got free wildcard and after that, I was great and managed to climb into the money positions. But not first place, it was second or third.

I think everyone chickens out because I was giving too many pieces of advice here.

A single mistake before the season begins or while you are using your wildcard can have a knock-on effect and single-handedly derail it.

Yeah, I can recall this about 2 seasons back, being my first with a lot to learn, I noticed how you were able to note, get them free transfers and gifted wildcards even before the rest of us could realize it was available. Made proper use of them DG and it serves you real good in the end.

Sadly, I missed on most of that, reason why Igebotz was always on my tail on how bad I was at utilizing these chips. Improved I’ve the course of last season but wasn’t enough to get me into a prized position, it was by a point margin though, just a point. I’ll see how to make up for that in this season.

Chicken out huh, mehn let’s just cut the crap, you’re good and it ain’t difficult to acknowledge that. It’s not about them comments though, I’ve seen you have some terrible GWs but, on the whole, you do make some good calls quite frequently.

Not taking mid season bets. My goal is to win the pool and hopefully breach top 10k or something. Couldn't care less about ranking in GW15.

Not thrilled about handicaps either but i will give you 29.5 handicap on end of season for that 2.5 mBTC. Meaning if I have 30 points over you I win the bet.

I finally make a team I'm happy with that needs a 5m mid playing - and of course Bobb gets injured. Now back to the drawing board yet again.
I like the pricings, it's impossible to fit a lot of good players into the team - especially if you have Haaland.

With the team I assembled, it will either be fireworks or putting out the fire after the first few rounds but I feel safer with the new transfer rules so let's go with some risks.

I see a lot of us trying with Quansah, might be a great pick but he's really not guaranteed to start - far from it.

Thanks Ige for the link, also Trofo. Now I understand that I actually haven't improved at all in 3 seasons. From 4 millionth++ to 5 millionth++ and now barely above 4 million. I knew I was a shitty manager but now I actually can set a target for myself.

I'm relooking at my current draft and I think I have to really consider to stop being stubborn and go with a premium Haaland after all. I believe he was in 99.9% of all top managers in FPL, so it's suicide not to go with him right?

icopress, is it possible to update OP with links to the final standings of each season? I know it's annoying heh. We're on for the 2mbtc sidebet of who finishes higher! Is there a place to keep track of this?
