I've said it ad nauseam already but I want to have the two transfer I wasted just before the break back, I really want to go all out with no further international break coming this year, I might be taking points hit 

Same here, treating this break as wildcard and paying as much as necessary. At least -8 maybe more. Don't like my team and it is a time for a bit of reset and hopefully green arrow future. Blanks from Son and Johnson against Ipswich really killed me. Had high hopes for those 2.

Not sure why, but I'm always so against going for those negative points. I wanna change 8 players but would never go -16 to do it, although 16 points across 5 GW's actually does make sense across 4 defenders.
Currently with 4 transfers I remain with 4+ mil in the budget, with a shitty defence and no chance of points.

The problem is that in 5 GW's I'll want City/Liverpool assets back, and then my fancy defence is a problem again.

There are managers that take hits like crazy and those that will never take hits I am pragmatic. I look at the team at any given time and make a mental calculation. If I believe that following equation stands I go for the transfers, otherwise I don't. Simple as that

Time frame is 3-5 weeks, depending on players, fixture swings and stuff like that. If player is someone like Saka or Palmer it can even be much more.

I am not sure I will be able to take points hit, my team needs a change but I may choose to go about it the slow way. It may end up being a  bad decision, or the right one, I don’t think anyone can know for sure.

What to do with Haaland though?

You’ve given me something to chew on but, aim to be his replacement is what I can’t think of. It would be an error not to have either Haaland or Salah on the team but, I don’t have any option of taking out some of midfield players which doesn’t look like a very awful set up as I see it right now.
Manchester City would be playing Spurs from a home side and the fixture is a game you could expect a lot of goals, probably an over 2.5 and Haaland could be on this scoresheet hopefully. I might have to hang on to him in this GW to see how he performs maybe.

And the major source of my worry is that It could come back to hunt me If I take points hit to get rid of my Tottenham assets, for all we know Man City's defence is no longer impregnable, so it's not illogical to hope for returns from them and still no concrete news regarding my potential targets. Perhaps, I should pause on my team overhaul and go  for it as my free transfers can allow.

I also eventually gave in to the fear of missing out and took a minus 4 points hit, I really wouldn't have if my budget was enough for TAA + Brenan Johnson to Ait-Nouri + Palmer, but the budget was short so I need to do Solanke > Joao Pedro as well, that would have been my go to ahead of the next round though, but If Palmer + Pedro points is not >= Solanke + Johnson + 4, then my move would have been an awful call, hopefully Palmer can kickstart things positively, since he's fit enough to start the game today.

Palmer with a blank, my move most definitely goes to shit with that one, Palmer vs Saka is always a tough choice when you can only have one.

Haaland dosent produce much points like he did on the start of the season. Palmer is either hot or cold and today he was cold. I putted him as captain for this round and he didnt do anything… o most scored a goal but his own player blocked him just my luck. As far as i see Salah is the best option but i dont have him so hopefully he dosent play well this week

Bad option to pick Palmer as captain, it was between him or Isak. Let's see what Isak does on Monday.
LFC assets should bring big points tomorrow, especially Salah. Didn't want to bring him just for that game though, we have City and Newcastle after that one.

Made my 5 transfers, Palmer blanked and Havertz remained on the bench for full 90 so that was a terrible transfer - especially considering that Cunha was the alternative.

Saka and Jackson did well though, I hope Isak will too - but the changes were made for the next 5 rounds anyway.

Yeah Harko, sorry about Palmer heh. But for me my negligence paid me back badly. I blame NL. It was such a long break I lost my rhythm and wanted to wait til today to get full injury news. Then forgot I would be out all day anyway.

Saka and Pedro, the guys I wanted to transfer in. The latter especially as he's still dirt cheap. Then both scored so quickly. I like Saka a lot so breaks my heart in funny ways that my man Saka is back on the goals, but wanted him not to get anymore since he wasn't in my team.

Saved by Gabriel and Flekken, and Konsa should be replaced by Porro who scored a massive 12 points (hopefully a bonus point or two as well as he actually looked good in defence today) but man, I missed out double points on 2 players! Top 4 all got more points, so I'm probably dropping...

I took yet another big step with not retuning my captaincy from Wood to Haaland but rather, took my chances with Palmer and it was yet another disappointment. After the Chelsea match, my eyes was all fixed on Manchester City if they would do any better but no, Manchester City and Haaland couldn’t make me reject my actions the more.
@Cryptofrka, I might be kicking Haaland off my team temporarily after all, seems Salah, is the man now, his been relatively consistent and comes through good with the team at the top of the table.

He continues to miss the big chances and this is just getting bad. Without a wildcard i honestly cant replace him and just have to keep him in the squad . Even changed captain from him and still he cannot due a single thing. If Pedro Porro didnt score that goal and get that clean sheet could have been the worst week of the season for me

No way Haaland gets dropped from the first 11. Pep doesn't have another striker on roster anyway and Foden is far from last season form. I think Haaland is playing unless injured or dropping from fatigue.

Pep will be waiting for the transfer window to get another striker that will give him options and increase the competition for Haaland in case his poor form is coming from a lack of competition for his position.

Cunha is a better option, and Wolves have very good games coming. He can score in all those games. At the next opportunity, I will bring him in.
