I would keep Palmer as captain if I had him and not Salah...

I don’t know if the Palmer bubble is also bursting as well but I’m sure we’ll see in due time, with how Man City have been conceding goals home and abroad, would it be crazy to actually consider keeping Mo’ Salah as captain for the next round ?

Several gameweeks ago I forgot to switch captaincy back to Haaland and paid for it. I'm never changing it, not for the next 10 games. It's not crazy. This man is on a mission to secure Magi's future. He wants the big bucks and he will do everything he can and some things he shouldn't to get there.

I'm waiting one more GW to get Palmer. Have a feeling Villa could be shutting the doors at Stamford Bridge.

I'm sure Haaland hattrick might be on the horizon now that he's out of my team, he's not going to be for too long though, once I stack up my transfer and I likely will bring him back in, perhaps more cheaper by then.

Gvardiol doesn't need clean sheet to haul though, If you have Gvardiol, there's no need to trade him for United assets, his attacking returns are good and he's also a big game player. However, I did trade Halaand and Semenyo for Saka and Jackson.

My best decision this GW is Palmer captaincy against Villa, as Salah was tempting at first but the game could be tougher than we think. Jackson and Palmer for eternity- huge differential too.

The numbers that cheaper Forwards are pulling off right now doesn't make Jackson look like a differential though, but he's a better No-Haaland switch if one isn't spreading the budget on other premium midfielders, and Chris Wood was benched in Forest last match, maybe he's no longer untouchable, that should open up a lot of other combination where Jackson and Isak would seem like the best pricey forward as such.

If I had a spare transfer, I could have done Gabriel for Gvardiol while City figure the shit out, but a -4 for a doubtful player is just pure dumb and that's why I didn't consider it at all.

Now that he has shown how important he is in games for Southampton, he needs to continue working on his physicality because he will be a target for manmarking by many teams when they play against Southampton. He will be at the end of many tackles, some even rough; he has to try to maintain fitness.

Justin Kluivert the hattrick hero for Bournemouth, 3 penalties and all were well taken making this guy the hidden gem of this gameweek...but unfortunately can't be jumping from one player to another every game week trying to catch such assets.

This GW did not start well for anyone but most of the big hitters and our captains are yet to play so who knows how it will end. Finally I made one good decision and kept Wood instead of going -4 for Joao Pedro, now with Isak injury it will probably be him that goes out.

My week was going to shit quickly as well, especially since I took a -4 points hit to bring in Cunha for Haaland, but bringing in Saka and being captain is likely the best thing for me this week and the fact a lot of other didn't have him as captain makes it even more worthy provided Salah and Palmer doesn't provide as many points too.

And I was also close to dropping Wood to the bench already since he didn't start last week, but went with Rogers to the bench instead.

You looked much better before Arsenal match Usually goes that way, you think you did something well and then cold shower. Last second transfer from Fernandes to Saka looks like good move for me but now that I wrote that, Fernandes will go ballistic tomorrow.

Gvardiol hasn’t been giving me the best of his moments this season. I haven’t had reasons to look his way and with Manchester City’s drop in performance in recent time, he just wouldn’t fit the bill. Lewis feels just right for a Manchester City backline, no premium fee and he comes up with goals and assists too.
Everyone of use was out here over the course of the previous GW, all worked up about Cunha, he eventually got nothing for this week, despite an over 5.5 match. He should have been on the scoresheet at least or perhaps an assist. Wissa remains very instrumental for Brentford and Wood back to scoring ways. It’s been good thus far.
