I would have been very happy if that Dorgu goal had stand, that’d have paid partial dividends for my -8 points hit, Man United cannot be trusted even when it looks very perfect on paper, win at Newcastle, drop points against Wolves, I won’t be surprised if the trend should continue against Leeds who are at least better than Wolves.

I have noticed this trend with Manchester United they are seriously poor against weaker opponents or maybe I should put it as that they are bad against low block oppositions because I have noticed that most of their points have been dropped against this low rank teams compare to the top opposition. Against Leeds i expect them to collect all the three points but fall in their next game after that, that’s how inconsistent they are.

So far my free hit is a disaster:

- Dorgu goal disallowed, finished with 1 point
- The entire Chelsea squad decides to go full clown mode and get returns before James, JP and Neto are subbed on - at least there was a Semenyo assist
- Useless FPL trolls Welbeck and Minteh return after weeks of doing jackshit (though I did not miss much with Welbeck after he missed another penalty and got a yellow card)
- And finally after weeks of returning, no returns for Roger Rabbit today. Entire Arsenal squad hauls except for Rice who wasn't even there in the first place. Bruno G. gets 10 points.

My free-hit was mainly supposed to be a pilot-wildcard in the first place, but injuries to key players forced me to take a different approach towards the deadline.

Let's just hope than Man CIty and Liverpool don't ghost on Thursday.

So far my free hit is a disaster:

I had exactly the same situation. I used the Free Hit in that very first week when it became available, and I was confident that I had made a really strong selection of players, that they were solid on their own and would bring in points. But after that it feels like everything only got worse. Now I’m almost at the bottom of the league table, even though my team looks quite star-studded on paper. I honestly don’t know what to do with it anymore.

Timber finally doing something for me, it is a mini-differential considering that he got subbed off and Raya (who a lot of people have) ended up conceding.

I also planned on captaining Cunha but decided against it last minute, was probably the right call. City has a game on Thursday and Sunday so I think they might rotate, same with Liverpool.
Liverpool doesn't have many options though - so I feel VVD and Ekitike are relatively safe picks.

Both Rice and Keane were known that will miss the match before the deadline. Official FPL only gives a flag if the news came from official press conference or if if the injury is reported to FA. That is why half of your team has flags during internationals, because that is the time clubs actually want everyone to think their player is injured and they send those reports diligently.

Check injuries by googling them or watch deadline streams from content creators. Those injury news are the only thing useful about them these days anyway

I also have Keane in my team and i didn't know he was going to miss the game through injury. And then Everton go on to keep a clean sheet against Forest, so he would have brought good returns. Wilson is going to replace him in my team, so i'd see how well that works for me. Ekitike is my captain for this gameweek, i hope i do not regret doing that when Ekitike blanks and Haaland scores a hat-trick against Sunderland, lol.

FPL official is always a known shit source of info and I do know that but I was pressed for time and had to rely on what was immediately visible. Like Trofo said, all the info was available if you managed to check normally but I didn't expect someone like Rice to be injured suddenly... nor Timber to be playing as I recall the injury seemed bad.

Shittiest FH in a long time and yes. Fk Cunha. Read it was his worst game, should have known he would get stuck against his former team.

I'm also a victim of placing Rice into my lineup.    I didn't know either about his injury. They did the same damn thing with Timber as well last week.

He also had no additional info on fantasy website. Suddenly after the deadline he turned out to be absent for the match.

Unfortunately Estève replaced Rice and got 0 points because of playing for only 14 minutes...

I’ve been having really bad luck with players, as soon as I add them to my team, they either get injured or stop being played. The same thing happened with Rice this week…

The points of the players on the bench are counted only when you use bench boost chip. Normally only your starting eleven players' points are taken into account - except the times you have an injured player and a player from the bench gets subbed in.

To add in your case Rice didnt play so the first player on the bench is gonna sub him, you are not gonna see the points added to your account until the end of the round.

About Ekitike damn man he is doing nothing until now, when we have 40 minutes of the first half, what a disaster was Cunha and now Ekitike seems to be follow the same path.

My -8 points hit is bound to be an epic fail, if nothing changes for Ekitike, who could have won a penalty if had gone down under a quite heavy challenge, and miss a chance from close range too.. Cunha and Dorgu already made it bad, but it could get really ugly if nothing happens from Ekitike, Cherki and captain Haaland.

With both Ekitike and Cunha blanking, Haaland can be a big differentiator for some of us - 4 out of 8 top teams captained somebody else.

He already almost had an assist that was ruled out for a marginal offside so hopefully he brings some points tonight.

You’ve really opened my eyes. I was sure those points were counted, otherwise what’s the point of having those players on the team at all? I remember the bench boost option, I used it in the first or second week, when I didn’t really understand the rules of the game yet. After that I completely forgot about it, since it wasn’t available.

Now I understand why I have so few points. My bench players usually score more points than the starting lineup on the field. I clearly need to change my strategy completely…

Also had 44 points to my suprise these week, was sure it would be much lower, but I also dropped Cunha in the last minute so that saved me a bit also. Looking at our league the most points were 52 I think, so these 44 points are really impressive for both of us
