I didnt end well this round, shit.

I didn't do so well in this round as well, but I was able to move up 3 places and ended up at the 13 position, 11 points difference with bullrunbro who is currently topping the round after an impressive.

My main let down this night was both Celtics and Sevilla failing to win their respective matches, I thought with Celtics form they would win against Shaktar and despite being the better team all they could settle for was the draw, while Sevilla are still very much not performing well. Now they'll play Celtics for the two next game weeks, the results form it likely would determine if they'd make it to the round of 16.

For me also this was the worst round and of course I think it has been so for most of the pool users,I saw many users with the down red arrow indicating they are down several positions,I lost 10 of them and I thought to be last but I am now 31 near the bottom.

The surprises continued even yesterday after Tuesday really bad results and I think Chelsea to be the big one together with Juventus despite Juventus having those high odds.

Good thing about being bottom of the pool table is that you can only go up  

Don't know what happened with me and CL, it used to be my biggest profit competition and one of my better pools, last 2 seasons I am just loosing tickets and getting wooden spoons.

I started great with both to score markets on two early games but then Leipzig not scoring killed most of my tickets and what survived got burried with Rangers failing to score. At least Leipzig had some good opportunities and we all knew how it will end when they didn't convert. It seems Real really just needs last 15 minutes to win CL games.

I guess those that are taking the risky approach are the ones doing better in the pool right now, most of the results are having somewhat unexpected from my own points of view, I've only gotten most of my points from the favorites, meanwhile, I'm not getting a good of number of exact points too, it's always 1 and 1.5 points for results, and close ones, I guess that's whey majority of us that the usually have a good run in the competition are struggling right now, but still it's a close one and the best to thing do is to try reduce the gap before the groups stages comes to end, because it will only get hard to catch up once the group stage is over.

Barca, watched highlights and it seems we were actually the better team mostly? But no goals means no chance

Barca was much better in first half, they have taken the game to Bayern and were creating good chances every few minutes. Unfortunately, they did not manage to convert even one into the goal. If they did I am sure we would have had a whole different game and result on our hands.

Then after the half time Bayern scored 2 quick goals and that stopped Barca in their tracks. We could say that we had a game of two halves with Bayern taking their chances.

Yeah, I didn't even feel like I recovered from it after 2 days. And I didn't even watch the game, was just way too late, and I already had little sleep the night before. I am intending to keep myself to watching half of their games since not even sure if they can progress far but bad timing as usual. Lewandowski, hope that night is all the misses he has this season.

For most of us this has been a really rough week in the Champions League. We have witnessed many surprising results which caused us to collect not so many points. Yesterday was a little better for me compared to Tuesday. However I'm still far away from the leader of course. 

For example Chelsea had a very unlucky day. They dominated the whole match but Salzburg somehow stole that point. After such dominance I'd have expected Chelsea to score at least one more goal. This is still a big problem for this team as they become stuck with a risky score. But after this very positive effort their future might be brighter than before with Potter hopefully.

Juventus were the biggest disappointment of the night. While I was waiting for a 2-1 win they lost by the same score. Benfica were doing well until this match but I still waited for Juventus to win in Turin. Allegri is in trouble these days as they are terrible in the Serie A and the Champions League both.

I think in the next couple of round we can have a more regular or predictable results , because the big teams knows if they keeps falling you can be in very serious troubles not only for qualify, but also thingking in the round of 16.

I'm really having problems with believing in this from now on. Because the season so far has been really interesting and it is very difficult to predict the future because of that. I've been having a terrible time period in the pool by the way and I don't want to talk about it much. 

It looks like the group stage might continue with some interesting results until the end. This might cause some big teams to be eliminated in the group stage already and continue on their way in the Europa League. Or some of them might be out of all European tournaments already. Teams like Chelsea and Juventus must benefit from the free time before the next matches in an effective way. They are both huge disappointments so far. Chelsea at least took a step to change things with Potter but let's see.

I agree with @igehhh here and additionally, In my opinion even if they are spending that much money, what actually matters is that are generating not just a great revenue from it, but in terms of image rights and sponsorship deals for the club you have no idea what caliber of deals having Neymar, Messi and Mbappe on a single team would bring to the table, at least they're also getting the higher level of performance from the them (although winning the champions league require a little more than just star players), what would you say of teams like Barcelona and Man United if you consider how much they've spent over that the last 4-5 seasons and all they've actually got from those enormous expenses. PSG may not have the needed chemistry to conquer Europe just yet, but you really can't still undermine their qualities, which imho justifies the amount they paid for these players, compared to what Man Utd had to pay for Maguire, what Chelsea paid for Lukaku or Man City paid for Jack Grealish.

Yeah losing the first match really wasn't a good look and it really cost them a lot as they should be getting it back at their second match...  But no.  I didn't watch the match, just saw highlights, but still disappointed to see them go 1 - 1 vs an inferior side.  And at home too.  :/  But I'm still hopeful for Potter.  I've been yapping about him being a good manager.  Now we'll see what he's like with a top club.

They were investigated in the same way as any other club, but they presented valid sponsorship deals from which they received all of the funds and were cleared. Who cares if the money spent on players has no effect on ticket sales? Give them a break, they have a lower net spend than most of Europe's top clubs, they signed all their players four years ago, and all they do now is release deadwood and replace them with younger players, sign the best free agent on the market, play beautiful football, and have big sponsorship deals.

I see something good coming now that Kai Hasvertz and Mount have returned to their natural midfielder positions. But I don't think the Silva and Apzi partnership is a good idea; these guys are old, and pairing them together is a bad idea.
