Real Madrid is having hobby of doing amazing things, and they could be carried on with this all because they are special around the globe and their last performance against Barcelona is also giving them good positive change because they can do this again in this season and then surely we can expect something same from any player from this club for next year as well because they are again at their best in this season.

If we look in the mirror in the previous season like that, Bayern were really extraordinary but it was Villarreal who became the dark horse that destroyed their determination in the Champions League.
Being at the top of the standings in the group stage is actually not too guarantee when you are in the knockout phase because all possibilities can happen in that phase even for a club that is not even seeded like Madrid last season because it is always against a difficult club.

Bayern should have known about it but now they are quite blunt for a target man and I still doubt if they can talk much in the next phases or still as usual by always getting knocked out in the top 8.

I didn't even see Messi in the list for Ballon d'Or. It was really interesting in my opinion. Ronaldo was there but Messi wasn't. But even if Messi was also in that list the winner wasn't going to be him for sure.

He was definitely a role model for so many players with his incredible performance. I was just not sure between Benzema and Lewandowski to win the prize. They were sitting very close to each other while Zidane was looking at their direction. Lewandowski seemed hopeful about the prize but Benzema got it. He definitely deserved it of course, there is no doubt. I guess that this is a great achievement to adorn his career before retirement.

La Liga players have dominated the Ballon d'Or in the last two decades. For 20 years 15 editions of the Ballon d'Or belonged to Spanish League players.

Ronaldo was the last Premier League player to win the 2008 Ballon d'Or trophy. Ronaldo got the Golden Ball after helping Manchester United win the Champions League and Premier League. And I'm sure for the Ballon d'Or next season it will belong to the Premier League player, Haaland.

Despite being overshadowed by other great players, Benzema, who still plays in Real Madrid and decorates this game with Ballon D'or, deserved this award more than enough.  I think all the other football players who attended the ceremony knew about this award.  It would definitely be unfair if this award was given to any player other than Benzema.

Lewandowski is a fantastic player as well. Although he may not be in top form right now, I think he can improve depending on how well his team does this season. Even though he may be getting older, Barcelona nonetheless signed him since he still has the physical attributes necessary for playing. He can do better, but I also don't think he will win the Ballon d'Or this year.

Nope, Platini has won it 3 times as well. If we go deeper into the history books, we'll probably find other French players that did win it too.

I agree on the other point though - although there's new talent emerging (especially Haaland and Mbappe), I feel we'll never see the dominance that Ronaldo and Messi showed again.
Between these 2, they have 12 wins and 11 2nd places.

Benzema deserves all the accolades he’s getting, fans are showering him love all over social media. Benzema is a hard worker, for about four seasons Karim Benzema has been the pillar of Real Madrid team, his contributions and consistency is equal to none. We have seen how he has helped the team in so many ways on and off the pitch, staying strong during trying and tough times and above all staying loyal to the club. He indeed deserves this and I believe he will cherish and love this moment for the rest of his life.

Juventus really has bad performance in UCL, they can only make 1 victory and lost 3 times. There are only two matches reminding and I don't think they can make it good.

So do I, very pessimistic about qualifying for the next round. Juventus will face Benfica and PSG in the last two matches, so the chance is very small.
Although Juventus may win against Benfica, in the last match they will fight against PSG, can they beat PSG? If they are able to, this is exactly very good luck. 

I am really waiting for the match between Barcelona vs Bayern, this will be another exciting match to watch. After losing to Real Madrid in El Classico,  will Barcelona rise and be able to turn things around and win from Bayern? Nothing is impossible, but both have strong motives that make the outcome of this match still difficult to predict. This will not be easy for Barcelona and also Bayern itself.
