Great last game of the group stage of the UEFA champions league, lots of drama I must be honest with you, and mightily lots of actions, as we know some big teams had to bow out like Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax, Atletico Madrid. But that wasn't fascinating because some of this team were heading towards the exit even before the very last game.

I am surprised about how some groups ended out and who topped the group, for example Tottenham hotspurs, after so much bad games and many thinking they would be out of the UCL they came back to win the group and also Benfica, this team probably were grateful just to have qualified from a group that has PSG and Juventus, but not only did they qualify they were group leaders after their 6:1 win.

Now is the time to wait for the draw for the round of 16, and the first leg will start in February 2023 according to the schedule on the official website.

The date and time are still subject to change, but it seems I'm more impatient for the World Cup than for the Champions League last 16. The draw for the round of 16 will take place on November 7, 2022, it will be thrilling considering that the seeded team will likely have a tough opponent as there are several strong teams in the runners up.

Teams like Club Brugge and Frankfurt seem to be the most in trouble teams on paper now. Because there aren't many teams that they can eliminate among the group winners. They eliminated very powerful teams like Juventus and Bayern Munich. Especially Bayern Munich were like a nightmare to smaller teams on paper. A lot of people bet for fun and enjoy the match with passion because something is expected but if it's not then I think all matches are just interesting to watch especially the big match. I rarely bet anything on tight matches played by top teams, it's too risky to bet.

Of course, there is a chance that a non-seeded team can qualify for the quarter-finals or semifinals if they are surprisingly able to beat the team that is their opponent. But I think it will only be small to be real.

For example, I've read Bayern can't find only 3 teams against and one of them is Napoli.

Paris Saint Germain has won 4 out of 6 games in the group phase so they have definitely not disappointed to much in general i would say. Still it was kind of a surprise, that they only managed to finish in the second place behind Benfica, but i think it would be wrong to blame PSG for that. I think we should rather congratulate Benfica to their amazing performances without any loss so far. I also think that clubs like Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are now really nervous before the draw on monday, because if they get Paris as their opponent then this would be way to early for such a big matchup in my opinion. This should happen in the semi-final or final.

Their points are the same but what makes Benfica at the top is because they have more away goals than PSG, so they are the top and PSG are the runners up.

Man City played impressively yesterday, the first half didn't go in their favor of  scoring. Sevilla scored first but this goal didn't bother them as they kept on playing in courage and dominating the match till this first half was over. Immediately the second half started Man city showed Sevilla that they remain the best in the group by scoring two goal in seven minute. Manchester City won the match 3-1.

In the second half City played excellently with the help of changes that Gardiola did. If they continue in this form,it is possible that they will get to the final stage. Both English team won their match yesterday,Chelsea won 2-1.

It's not surprising when Manchester City shows such an impressive performance especially the opponent they face is Sevilla, who is in a slump this season. Manchester City are unbeaten in the group stages with 3 wins and 2 draws. They are one of the favorites to win this season along with other teams, such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and others. In fact they have always been favorites in recent years, and last season was at their peak they were the biggest favorites but had to lose when they met the reigning champions, Real Madrid. And this year they have shown again that they are serious in their pursuit of the title by bringing in quality new players.

Manchester City turned the game around against Sevilla after falling a goal down in the game. Sevilla have been poor in terms of performance this season, Manchester city on the other hand have been so good winning 3 and drawing two in the group, they are one of the favourites to win the trophy this season but in my opinion Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have been much more impressive and winning games in the group. They seem to be ambitious this time, we shall see who wins in the end.

It's a roller coaster for tottenham , sporting cp , marseille and frankfurt ...

All of them had stepped one leg to qualify but the other results at the other match keep changing and sporting lisbon the one who disappointed the most as it's like a daylight robbery. Sporting lisbon are indeed deserve more than that.

Bayern Munich are definitely one of the deadliest teams in the Champions League now. I really admire their high level of performance despite not signing a striker to fill Lewandowski's place in the team. They had big teams in their group like Inter and Barcelona but they just showed it really easy to beat them all.

Their record against Barcelona is already very impressive. They just manage to beat them comfortably in every condition. Now Bayern Munich are one of the strongest candidates for the Champions League title for sure. They will have more serious challenges after the group stage. Maybe they can do better than last season unless they start performing bad.

Oh, yes, Napoli has been making a great impression with its beautiful attacking game since the beginning of the season and is a discovery at the European level, because it still showed itself perfectly at the Italian level last season. Still around those name, I won't surpirsed if the winner is around that name also, but what the matter will face next for those club is the performance. If they are able to stabilize it, we will watch again them on quarter or Semi final. This is football, sometime is happen without wanting. We have to underestimate with club who have perfect peformance, Benfica, Tottenham and Porto. I'm really sure 1 of them will make the favorite club will have trouble

There are many examples. Recently we watch in the Liverpool match. He won in the last 5 minutes. And this was a great match. Both teams played very well. But unfortunately Nepoli didn't win.
