The world cup must not be a thing to change the result from next stage of champion's league. The main concern must be the champion league will be starting after the closed window of next transfer season. there will be lots of changes in the club just like napoli may lose some of its players caused by they were moving to the another club. In another case that real madrid may get a new striker and this help the club to increase its attack. Chelsea was also doing some transfer in the upcoming transfer season.

Well, to tell the truth, for me Chelsea is much better now, even more than Dortmund itself, the reason is simple, despite the fact that Chelsea has lost more games in the PL it is something separate, that does not mean that they are bad, Chelsea has a lot of potential, obviously things can change a lot for next year, there is speculation and I'm not sure that CR7 can go to Chelsea, who almost has one foot there, but that's all, Dortmund will not stay there, will want to strengthen much more, the competition is getting stronger, the teams know that they can no longer make mistakes more than what is coming from now on because that means that a complete elimination could come, both teams need a respite.

Tottenham are favoured to reach the quarter finals. However I'm not very sure about this anyway. Because Tottenham haven't been much consistent in the recent times. Not only in the Champions League but also in the Premier League I mean. They left their job to the final week in the group stage here for example. As for the Premier League they got many losses recently in big matches especially. There are some weaknesses in the team and Conte had better find a solution to that in this long break.

As for Milan they are quite decent in the Serie A but they are not as good as that in the Champions League. Even though Chelsea were having bad times Milan lost to them two times in a row for example. This means that they are still not prepared against big teams. While both teams are unpredictable I can't be sure of any side to reach next round. Milan are a much more experienced team in the Champions League considering their history but Tottenham have a great tactician like Conte at the same time.

Here I agreed with you about Tottenham progress into last eight because they are much better team in Premier League, and they have enough quality to beat team like AC Milan which is surely doing good job in Serie A, but their current squad is surely not good enough to handle things against Tottenham which is doing good job in last few months and still holding good position into both competitions.

Sacking the Tuchel was surely the worst decision by Chelsea new management because as he was doing things these were going to have good results in long run but a mistake change all development and after Graham Potter arrival few good results highlighted by media as it's going to be the best change but now after just few weeks Chelsea is eight in Premier League table and the second-worst team in form for last few matches as having three loses and two draws which are clearly giving all report about and their chances for qualifying again into Champions League in presence of tough challengers which are at their best.

Lampard? He's currently become Everton coach, as you can see he can't do much to improve his club, it's useless to let Lampard stay if he's not good become a coach.

Hazard's prime already passed, now he's currently on Real Madrid which is a good club in La Liga and he only play for few matches as a substitution.
