Milan vs Tottenham was a balanced game. We know that both teams have been out of form and doing badly lately. Nevertheless, both teams played here in search of a win to forget these bad results. Since Milan were the hosts, they had the advantage and that's what happened.  Milan won the match with a single goal.

I had higher expectations from Tottenham. I would say they played very badly. AC Milan's defense is weak now. They are not in good form. Milan conceded 5 and 4 goals against Sassuolo and Lazio respectively. In such a situation, if Tottenham had played an attacking strategy in this match, they would have been able to break Milan's defense. But Tottenham did not play an attacking strategy in this match. They have very few attacks. And as a result, they were defeated. I would say poor match strategy was the main reason for Tottenham's defeat.

Milan will be pleased with their victory because it was their first-ever win over Tottenham, despite their terrible Supercoppa league performance. It is quite unfortunate that Tottenham hardly wins a match this day if they are up against any club whether small or big. Conte needs to alter Tottenham's playing formation since it is not favoring them to win matches. He needs to build the team's defense and attacking force.
On March 8, the second leg will be played in north London(Tottenham). I'm hoping Tottenham will do better than they did in the first leg.

VAR took away PSG's comeback because of a 0.1 cm offsides - it's awful. I'm speechless after that. It's time for a new rule in soccer: "offside only counts if it's more than 10cm." VAR and offsides rob us of soccer, of adrenaline, of a comeback. These things are "Football" for us. It makes me sad that soccer is collapsing and I want soccer to be more interesting.

Bayern Munich mad a hige step to the qualification after beating psg 0-1, the dominated the first half and scored the first goal in the beggening of the second half, they was very close from scoring the second goal but the psg GK was awesome, psg need big work in the second leg if they want to qualify to the quarter final

Again, again and again Bayern Munich is an obstacle for PSG to qualify for the next round, even though Bayern Munich now no longer has its flagship striker who moved to Barcelona but still Bayern Munich is a team that is hard to beat in the champions league, experience and mentality that Bayern Munich has able to destroy the depth of the star squad owned by PSG, even though it only lost 1-0 and PSG still has a chance in the second leg later, but at least this defeat can make PSG work harder when playing at the Allianz Arena later.

Bayern Munich is known for doing very well I'm Champions league. Right from the time the fixture was made, I had no doubt that Bayern will qualify.  Even when the rumour of Manuel Neuer came after that of Mane. I still believed that Bayern Munich will qualify. In the second half, if Mbappe would be around they could give a nice fight.

In matches of such quality teams, it almost doesn't matter where the game is played, at home or away, so the fact that Bayern will play in Munich in return will not have much importance and does not make them favorites for the overall victory.
Also, as Bayern won in Paris, so PSG can win in Munich, it would not be a big surprise.
For PSG, this is the most important match of the season because their owners want to finally win the Champions League and that is why so much money has been invested in this team and such stars as Mbappe, Neymar or Messi have been brought.
There is a good chance that this PSG team will fall apart at the end of the season and that Neymar and Messi will leave if PSG fail to win the Champions League again.
The PSG team did not respond well to Bayern's pressing in the first match, but I am sure that in the second match they will do their best and play much better, and if they score first, anything is possible in the match.

Dortmund are in really good form and they are getting better every game. Their performance is visibly pleasing. Chelsea, on the other hand, are out of form and don't seem to have much purpose in the league. They've been out of the championship race for a long time and I don't know if they'll be able to compete in the European Cup. Maybe they can give Dortmund some trouble here. I don't think Dortmund will lose when they are in such good form. Chelsea has nothing to lose anyway. We can watch a lot of goals.

Club Brugge vs Benfica

Benfica comes to this match with fully confident this because Benfica didn't get a loss in their last 6 matches and their position on Portugal league also strong at first position but the opposite conditions from Club Brugge that they looks struggle to get the winning results at their domestic league and Club Brugge has passed 8 matches with only get once winning so i assume Club Brugge conditions is not in the good shape

About teams conditions so far i didn't see any serious problem for Benfica because apparently all of players can be played for this match but for Club Brugge they will losing Ferran Jutgla who got injured and this not good for them because so far Jutgla is their key players who regularly played for every matches and Jutgla also as their goal machine and after seeing these records i think Benfica will be able to win the match because their performance were more stable than Club Brugge and the odds for Benfica is @1.86

Well actually both are in pretty similar state with AC Milan scored 38 goals in domestic league while Tottenham on 42 goals so that kinda tells you that both are currently not in their top form and I doubt that any team will be able to win tonight. Kinda betting into the draw option on this game but as of now AC Milan is leading with 1 goal

Yesterday's match indicated that it would be difficult for a team to compare their quality from the domestic league and the Champions League. because every team that appears in the Champions league will show a better game than their game in the domestic league. That's exactly what ac milan did in the first leg because Ac milan was able to make big changes to their game and weren't afraid to push early on their opponents. The final result of AC Milan came out as the winner in the first leg of the big 16 round.

in the second leg which will be held at the tottenham hotspur stadium will be a strong capital for Ac milan after winning the first leg. Ac milan has quite a history in the Champions league, I believe they can advance to the next round and hope they can play a pretty good role in the second leg later.

i will not miss two UCL matches today (chelsea vs dortmund & club brugge vs benfica), as the host, dortmund is favored to win in this match but i think differently, chelsea will definitely win later, Boehly is reported to be directly watching this match because he is watching Bellingham and has plans to compete with Madrid and Liverpool in the hunt for Bellingham next season.

Milan win round of 16 Against Tottenham by 1-0 goal. it is a good point for them. AC Milan still play very well and their style of play is very impressive. However, AC Milan scored the goal in the first 7 minutes.  After that no other team could score any goal. Tottenham didn't play too bad either.  They also tried hard to play well but they unfortunately conceded a goal early in the game due to which they lost. Otherwise, the match was likely to be a 0-0 draw

We know that these two teams PSG vs Bayern Munich will be a match that is always looked forward to in the champions league and indeed these two teams can be said to be almost balanced, but sometimes a pretty good result is not necessarily good for the losing team and this is what PSG experienced. PSG, who hosted Bayern Munich, had to admit the advantage of the away team after Coman scored. That was the only legitimate goal in the match even though PSG had scored a goal which was later disallowed for offside. VAR has helped Bayern Munich win at the Parc des Princes, and PSG have been very unlucky during the match.

If we look at the PSG vs Bayern Munich match of the Super Sixteen yesterday, we can see that PSG's performance against Bayern Munich was really disappointing. Bayern Munich were playing a lot of attacking games from the start.  At first they managed to make a few attacks. But PSG's defense was able to resist those attacks.  But later K. Coman's goal (53') led Bayan Munich to 1-0. Then both teams tried hard to score, but in the end neither team could score. Later the result of the game went in favor of Bayern Munich. However, in this match PSG managed to make only nine shots of which only four shots were on target but Bayern Munich managed to make 19 shots against them with 7 shots on target.

I agree that it was a huge disappointing game, and PSG is now known as a team who fails to win at UCL games, and they may look good in ligue 1 (which they don't this year) that is basically showing how weak ligue 1 is and nothing more. I have to say that it is clear to me that we are talking about a team that is well beyond their league, but below the UCL title level as well.

Bayern didn't had any easy game neither, they had trouble beating PSG but they still did it and that is what matters. If you end up fighting and getting the point, how difficult it is doesn't really matter and PSG failed to do that, even with all their stars playing at the same time.

Having champion mentality without quality players also doesn't make sense to win the Champions League. Bayern Munich have good players to defend and attack, and their style of play is very different and that determines the course of the game. But this defeat was influenced by many factors in which in the end I have to admit that PSG was just unlucky with goals and a few chances.

Bayern always have good players and they are smart to choose players for their team. After the injury of Neuer, they wisely picked Yann Sommer who is a very good goalkeeper and experienced a lot of tough matches in Euro and World Cup with Switzerland. The match with PSG shows that he is a very good replacement for Neuer in short term and long term as well.

PSG also has good defense and goalkeeper from Gianluigi Donnarumma, but PSG had to fail and were unlucky when they had opportunities. Without Gianluigi Donnarumma and good defense, I think PSG will concede lot of goals because Bayern Munich attacked well and dominated the match. Some people regretted that PSG didn't make the most of their chances, but I can only say that the team did their best throughout the match.

Yann Sommer had great performance in that match and I admit that. He managed to make 4 good saves when PSG had chances, but Gianluigi Donnarumma
made 5 saves so that 1 goal conceded was not the end of everything for PSG. It seems to me that PSG still have hope to win the second leg and qualify for the quarter-finals, but they need to really improve and be well motivated to put in a good performance.

Even though PSG has expensive players who are also former Champions League winners such as Messi, Neymar and Ramos, basically the PSG squad is not stable enough in their midfielders. The creativity of the midfield is not good enough to support the attacker where quite often the striker has to go down and build an attack from half of his own field.

Both Bayern and PSG have very good players but as a team, PSG players are not able to unite as a whole solid team and in their team, there are holes that affect them a lot in Champions League. I believe one of biggest weaknesses of PSG is their coach position and they must find a coach who is winner in Champions League like Ancelotti and Mourinho. They have many good attacking players so they don't need to have a coach like Pep or Klopp. They must find a coach who can bring balance for their team by improving their defense.

I also admit that the coach is one of the reasons why PSG are not very convincing when opponents are at the level of Bayern Munich, so if they are the reason why PSG never won the Champions League then they might really have to sign a coach of the class of Guardiola or Klopp. But wait, let's see how the second leg will be. I hope there is something reliable from PSG.

Looking at the PSG squad, there is not a thing lacking, they've got all the quality for every wing and was prepared for today's game by resting players over the weekend and lost there league game against Monaco yet, here they were loosing again against Bayern Munich.

It was unfortunate for K. Mbappe yesterday, after all his celebrations and arousing the fans, his goals had to be called off for an offside. Although, Mbappe proved something yet again yesterday, that he is the future of PSG.

psg are just not experienced enough for the champions league. just like you said they have spent alot of money in purchasing high quality players but the winning formula hasn't just clicked for them as we can see them also struggling to win games against some of the top teams in the french league 1. I have really expected psg to even atleast score a goal against Bayern Munich, i mean c'mon they are playing at home with their supporters by their side but still yet couldn't find the Bavarian goal net, am really pissed they lost the game but i hope they can put some extra effort in their second leg rematch at the munich stadium.

Benfica's performance is not only good in the local league, because Benfica's performance in the Champions League is also very good and the proof is that Benfica can become the winner of Group H and Benfica managed to surpass the two big teams in Group H and they are Juventus and PSG. So, at this moment I personally really believe that Benfica will not lose by Club Brugge, because even though these two teams are not candidates for the title, but with the success that Benfica has made, then Benfica deserves to be considered to be able to go further.

Therefore, I personally really believe that Benfica will probably win this match but even though Benfica cannot beat Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadion, I still believe that at least a draw result can happen. Anyway, I personally am very optimistic about Benfica because the good results that Benfica has so far are proof that Benfica is indeed in the best shape at this moment.
