Liverpool shocked the world with a tremendous performance against Manchester United yesterday but against Real Madrid, I believe it will be a whole different task from playing against United because when you come to the Champions league Real Madrid are at their best performance. Liverpool might put up a good performance but being 3 goals down will be a tough one to come back from against Real Madrid so I think it is almost impossible for Liverpool to qualify.

Dortmund will play the second leg away at Stamford Bridge and Club Brugge will fly to the Stadio da Luz home of Benfica. I think with this aggregate there is still a chance for Chelsea, but it is very small considering that their opponent is Dortmund who are currently very focused on fighting for the Bundesliga title and certainly want to also secure 1 ticket to advance to the UCL quarter finals. For Benfica they have no problem with this match and with that aggregate they will win easily at home against Club Brugge.

I'll be going for dortmund. Even though the game will be at stamford bridge and that will not be giving chelsea an advantage over dortmund. The quality of players will be proven here. Dortmund is coming with so many win streaks that already got in the domestic league. Dortmund has some players who injured but the substitution for those players has the same quality as the main squads. It can be seen from the win streaks achieved by dortmund. Chelsea's main backs like thiago silva, azpilicueta were also injured but who the heck good backs that can replace those players? Fofana was not as good as thiago. I also have the same thought about Chelsea. but if we see how Dortmund is in the Bundesliga. So Dortmund turned out to have a very good level of consistency this season. Dortmund haven't even lost in the Bundesliga since winning against Chelsea in the first leg of the UCL round of 16. And I think Dortmund will make it difficult for Chelsea. The champions league is a different competition compared to any other league and Real Madrid are the kings of it. Currently Madrid are playing shitty football in the Laliga but we all know when it comes to the champions league madrid switch on. The draw against Betis at the weekend widened up the gap between them and Barcelona and madrid could be thinking to themselves now that they have certainly lost that league so to me they would do everything possible to win the UCL.

The demolition of Manchester by Liverpool has certainly raised their hopes for the remainder of the season. They could be pumped to go all out and win it. If they could score 7 against one of the most inform teams in the Europe then they could score four or three against the disorganized los balancos.

Of course, Benfica here will maximize their victory after winning in Leg 1.
